Her voice was melodic as she laughed at his caveman speak. For being a Sidhe Lord she knew his speech would be most dignified. And she loved the fact that he could joke so easily with her. She hoped it meant he wouldn't be so uptight around her. A part of her hoped it meant that her disgrace and ousting from her house either had not reached his ears or had not even registered on her radar. Many a man as noble as he wouldn't even give her the time of day. That was part of the reason she was here at all. Wondering if his noble saving of her persons was merely out of habit. Or if there was a chance for friendship here. Of course she knew Abby and Viv but she worked for them so it was hard to breach that into friendship. For all the 'relations' Arden had a friend was one she couldn't often keep. Many none fey would look down upon her occupation and though Arden had no shame of it they could not pretend enough for Arden not to see their disdain of it. Arden was not completely privy to why Lir was here. She found it odd that he was, unimaginable that it was that he would be ousted from the sithen, or come out on his own. But she would not pry of it. Not yet. "It is quite a lively place. Things do happen from time to time. I am sure you will do well in upholding the rules." Ardie complemented. Arden smiled as he stated that she was not interrupting. If he said it then it must be true. "A boat?" Arden questioned turning to take in the peices once more she could finally see the shape of the frame and picture what the boat would be. She whistled appreciativly. "I wasn't thinking that at all. Just that it was impressive and a very unique hobby." Arden said turning back to him as he began the introduction. "Lir it is a pleasure to meet you. I am known here as Arden or to a special few who call me Ardie." She smirked liking the slightly masculine sound of her nickname. Just for the dicotomy of it against her person. "Yes things do travel around at Temptations. But nothing that is too secret." Ardie smiled. Arden turned back t o look at the peices of boat as he began speeking of them again. Arden went up to on of the peices, she reached out to rub a hand over it only to pull it back as she picked up a splinter on the still unsanded wood. She hissed as she brought her palm to her mouth and began sucking on the splinter to pull it out. She snorted as Lir offered to show her around and split her gift to him in penance. "CHivalrous aren't you? There is nothing to give penance for. You are the one who came to my aid and I came her to return the favor. Would you put us out of balance again? A tour I would appreciate but the foods are yours. I've consumed far to many of them myself anyway. I have to keep my girlish figure for my job." Arden laughed running her hands down her ultra thin frame in an almost seductive manner. |
