Hey there guys,

It's been a while since we last updated you with the news about what's going on behind-the-scenes at RollersClub, so I've taken the time out to detail the sessions, and how they're being run!

Wilmslow Expansion

Last week saw the first of many "split-ability" RollersClub Sessions at Wilmslow Leisure Centre. As Wilmslow is our busiest session, in the smallest hall, we have split the session into two categories:

- 6:30 to 7:45 pm : Families and Beginner Skaters
- 8:00 to 9:15 pm : Advanced Skaters

By doing this, we are working towards a number of our targets. Firstly, we can spend more time teaching new skaters how to get going in the Beginner Session. By doing so, we don't have anywhere near as many people falling over! In addition, we have changed the layout of the games, removing British Bulldog and replacing it with Musical Statues, to better teach the young ones how to brake effectively!

In addition, we have started to hire out Safety Equipment, albeit with a limited stock (not for long!). Just ask the Manager (Korby) at the entrance, and for just £1 we can supply you with a full set to keep you bruise-free. Set includes Helmet, Knee Wrist and Elbow pads.

Saturday Nights

As many of you know, we created a new session in Knutsford over the summer, which has turned out to be a success! We have many customers who enjoy skating in the spacious hall. This session is run from 5:15 to 6:30, at which point you are welcome to travel to Macclesfield for the traditional session there.

After the summer period ended, we re-expanded the Macclesfield Session to using two sides of the hall. However, as a "trial" for the Wilmslow "Split-Ability" sessions, we decided to use the two sides of the hall for the two different levels of ability. As with the above, this has turned out to be successful, and allows us to designate Staff Members to look after both new and experienced skaters.

There are many other things we could discuss, but to appreciate them fully, you should attend our sessions every weekend. Head over to the website (http://www.rollersclub.co.uk/) for more information on where to locate a Roller Disco near you!

Thanks for taking the time to read this bulletin.

Jamie Bold,
Management Team.
