Its an Idea i suddenly thought up after seeing not much progress on the posts of the forums while I was gone. One of the anime forums I join have their "Forum Games" section with obtainable post counts. Which means you get +1 post counts everytime you reply to the forum game. Just like a normal forum section. So do you want this feature on TRRC? I have no problems adding this feature since I don't see a reason to limit the post count of someone if all they are gonna post is in some random section. Though, I do hope, after I add this feature, you will be at least a little bit more active in the forums. So, decide. |

Um... Do we have something that requires post count to be able to use (like modding guides in TREZ)? If no, then it's probably okay. But if we do, people might get useless posts there just to get this thing. However, you can always remove this feature if it was used badly. So, I guess my vote is Yes. (I can imagine myself now spamming and watching my post count increasing @_@) |

In 2010, yes. Currently no, I removed that in early 2011 when I decided to be independent instead of copying TREZ all the time. |

Last chance to say that you disagree with this suggestion!! After a few days, If nobody changes their mind, I will process this suggestion and take it into action. Then you can have post counts of over nine thousand and why not. Oh, and auto-merge will be enabled to prevent cheating.

Prevents multiple-posting right after you've just posted within a specific given time to prevent abuse. Example: Post# 23: Sonic: ARA!!!!!!!!!!!!! Post# 24: Sonic: ARA!!!!!!!!!!!!! Post# 25: Sonic: ARA!!!!!!!!!!!!! Post# 26: Sonic: ARA!!!!!!!!!!!!! Post# 27: Sonic: ARA!!!!!!!!!!!!! Post# 28: Sara: o.o will be merged into: Post# 23: Sonic: ARA!!!!!!!!!!!!! Okay, configuration for Forum Games section has now been updated. You can now gain post counts for posting in a game there. Auto-merge has been enabled to prevent cheating. The auto-merge length is set to 6 hours, which means you can double post after 6 hours have elapsed, but that will consider cheating in a game though, i guess. Auto-merge will be disabled once I assure that you guys won't be cheating in Forum Games. Anyways, this thread will remain open for further discussion on this feature. Yandols |
