aaaaa Uh, Grodus never fought Eggman at Popstar. Eggman fought... iono at Top's House while Grodus fought Dedede at Popstar. Also Mario and Peach were unkidnapped by that time. So... Eggman was never near Popstar. Maybe while heading to Star World. *cries* I wish I had the drive to have actually finished Oddtastic. Anyway, Grodus and Eggman never fought until near the end when Cackletta and Fawful were thrown into the mix, and this was at Star World at the Releetocin (or whatever it was) headquarters. But, considering that you're making a story that somewhat blends with another which wasn't actually finished, I'll let it go. Anyhowzit, I just realized my two characters are an extreme contrast. WOO! Oh noes, where's Teen Angst during this? |

Finally did it, despite running a failed story. ![]() Chapter 3-2: Fatal Disruption DEFENDER OF HEROES BRIDGE - 22 AU FROM MOBIUS Salvick sat on the bridge of his ship, concerned on the recent turn of events. News of the recent turn of events had just reached the X-Naut fleet. The Metal Army had been completely wiped out for several miles around the Scrap Brain Zone, all spontaneously, and the Badniks had put up some sort of shield around their central base. TEC-X3 could not get an accurate reading on the situation, and all probes turned up missing. All they had to rely on was the three conscripts and the X-Naut troops stranded in the outskirts of the metropolis; their video feed still working. An emergency meeting had been called for this. Grodus’s hologram stood next to Stalvick, his ship locked in hyperspace, which gave him the time to concentrate on Stalvick’s front. Quite normally, Lord Crump would have joined the two of them, but in his holopad was Colonel Litera, who was deployed on an X-Naut outpost on the planet’s surface. “So, let us get down to business. What do we know of this device?” Grodus asked. “Our research team has identified the object as a weapons relay designed by the good Doctor Eggman himself. They report this item is called the AI Disruptor and that it’s purpose is connected directly to the Metal Army.” Stalvick brought up the video feed from the front, showing the relay off in the distance. “We can confirm that it sends out a randomly generated energy signature, which targets a hidden AI override that the Metal Army has put in their units. The energy signatures are all different and random enough to where the firewalls emplaced in the units cannot react in time, and the entire system is deleted. We cannot confirm this effects all Metal Army units, but it did wipe out a legion, single-handedly.” “Lord Grodus, Admiral Stalvick,” Litera began, “Since the beginning of the Metal Army’s invasion, the Galactic Federation had begun research of an Achilles Heel in the Metal Army soldiers, but none were ever found. Since then, the research has fallen into independent factions and nations, and rumor has it some have had some success. Of all people, Doctor Eggman would be the most likely candidate to create such a device.” Litera sighed, and looked back up at the two, “This device would bring many unnecessary complications to our operation. I must humbly suggest to you, Lord Grodus, that this device be destroyed as quickly as possible. If it should fall into the hands of the SWD or the Federation, we would face some very serious problems.” “Hmm. A prudent call, Colonel.” Grodus said, “I am inclined to agree.” “But Lord Grodus! This device could assure our victory over the Metal Army!” Stalvick said, voice raised, “It is foolhardy to discard such an advantage!” “Surely, Admiral, you do not doubt the tenacity of your own fleets?” Litera said, calmly, “Your forces will devastate the Metal Army without the need for such a device.” “Listen here, Colonel. I’ve had just about enough of your-!” “This conversation is over, Toris.” Grodus interrupted, “Given the fact our mission relies on the Federation and SWD being distracted by the Metal Army, we could hardly stand to let them control a device of this magnitude. The AI Disruptor must be destroyed in order to safeguard our mission. I am requisitioning two of our conscripts to deactivate the shield surrounding the inner sanctum of the base. And Colonel Litera,” Grodus turned to the Colonel’s hologram, “Since you have shown such concern for the device’s inherent danger, I’m charging you with finding the device and securing it. We will commence with its destruction once we have cleared the area.” ”Yes, Lord Grodus!” Litera snapped an X-Naut salute, and his hologram faded out. “Yes, sir.” Stalvick seemed less enthusiastic about it, but snapped his salute as Grodus’s hologram faded out. He then sat back in his chair, head in his hands. This was idiotic, and he knew it. SCRAP BRAIN ZONE – NEAR THE INNER SANCTUM “How does this thing, like, work again?” “I’m not sure… Maybe, what does this button do?” ”NO! NOT THAT ONE!” ”Like, rude much!” ” IT’S TOO CRAMPED! I’M HYPERVENTILATING!” “There, something’s happening!” The shield around the inner area of the Scrap Brain Zone shimmered, obscuring the structures hidden inside. Movement from the Badnik defenders could be made out. Then, from the inside of the barrier, a blue light flashed from nowhere. On the ground, the Totally appeared, fresh out of dimensional transit. Her hatch opened, and Amphy ran out, kissing the ground. ”LAND!” Amphy shouted. “I’m, like, not that bad of a driver!” Shouted Teen Angst, “I get my permit in six weeks!” The Badniks around them took note, and two Bug Badniks armed their blasters, charging at the two. ”AHHH!” Amphy screamed, blasting a wave of electrical energy at the Badniks. They both exploded instantly. “Wow, they’re, like, weak!” Teen Angst said. From the Totally, two X-Nauts ran out, weapons armed. They stood next to the door of the ship, and held a defensive stance. “We’ll hold the ship until you two come back,” one of them said, “The shield generator is nearby. Destroy in, and we can carry on with the next phase of our operation. The X-Naut snapped a salute. Amphy hit himself in the face attempting to return it. Teen Angst and Amphy ran into the large pylon nearby, leaving the Totally behind. SCRAP BRAIN ZONE INNER SANCTUM – WESTERN SHIELD PYLON The two moved through the dark, metallic tunnels of the pylon. Each passage turned around and around in circles, going up slopes and stairs. “Isn’t there an elevator in this place?” Amphy panted out. “Come on, work those gluts!” Teen Angst said, “My 17 magazine said that stairs running makes boys like you more!” ”Easy for you to say! YOU’RE A FLOATING BLOCK!” “Like, details…” Teen Angst sighed. After much walking, the two finally reached the top of the pylon. A view of the entire base was slightly obscured by the massive shield covering the inner sanctum. In the center of the room, a large generator was turning, producing part of the shield. A small terminal stood nearby. Amphy charged to shock the generator, but his shot bounced off, the magnetic fields preventing an overload. Amphy sighed. ”We should have brought bombs or something. Now what?” ”OHH!” A computer! Does this place get Youtube?” Teen Angst ran up to the computer, and began pressing the keypad with her hand, somehow navigating the page without fingers. “You mean this place doesn’t get Limewire? But I, like, need that new ringtone!” ”You just downloaded one yesterday!” shouted Amphy. “That one’s so yesterday!” Teen Angst pressed the enter key, and the Limewire download screen popped up. “NOW DOWNLOADING: SONGS… 100%. VIDEOS… 100%. NOW DOWNLOADING VIRUSES.” Then, a massage popped up from the Eggman security network: ”Your computer has detected… 67,876,455,787 viruses. You have twenty seconds until this computer combusts.” “Ummm… Rude much?” ”RUN!” Amphy shouted, as the computer and generator began to spark, as the generator span out of control. Then, the generator began to fall apart. A pipe busted open, and the generator slowed to a halt. “Wow, for a second, I thought it would ex-“ SCRAP BRAIN ZONE – INNER SANCTUM The top of the shield pylon combusted, blasting Teen Angst and Amphy out into freefall. “WE’RE GOING TO DIE!” Amphy screamed, and grabbed onto Teen Angst. “AHH! Wait a second, I like, can float!” Teen Angst then stopped in mid air, Amphy still screaming. “Why do you need a ship if you can FLY?” ”Because you can’t get boys without a starship. Like, duh.” Teen Angst sighed, and floated down towards the Totally. Around them, the shield began to dissipate, revealing the Inner Sanctum to the rest of the world. Almost simultaneously, a group of ships began to fly in, sweeping low on the center of the Inner Sanctum, where the AI Disruptor lay. TO BE CONTINUED IN CHAPTER 3-3: EGGMAN’S LEGACY |

I forgot to mention earlier that Birdross know about the X-Nauts at Chronis, how did a war veteran like him forget about them or is it miswording? |

Yea, the dialogue was a bit outa wack at some points. I threw the end together kinda fast. ![]() Though the entire first part before the Totally teleports in was supposed to be one of those moments where you hear dialogue but have no idea who's speaking. And I never said Birdross forgot about the X-Nauts. He just was supposed to sound surprised that the weakest faction from Chronis managed to raid Star World's largest shipyard. |

You might've probably given the voices "voice 1" "voice 2" etc. since logically their voices should sound different. "-Voice: Not so fast! -Fungus: No way, you can't get away with using the "Voice" name title again, acuz we know your voice now." Who said "”NO! NOT THAT ONE!”"? Also Teen Angst doesn't have hands. Random X-Naut pilot #257. And the next chapter made me realize, Top, they already had a Metal Shadow before you made one for Whirl.

They had those. And the multiplayer "Shadow the Hedgehog" Metal Shadows that had guns locked to their arms. But, yea. This next part may be postponed due to the stupidity of real life.
