The whole situation was worked out. Ayup. I can make my stories again. Stupidly, my computer can't read photoshop format, so I can't post the banner. ![]() Two weeks have passed since the raid on Fahr Outpost, and the X-Nauts evacuated the planet before the SWDF could intercept them. The Star World Resistance Forces have been merged with the X-Naut Army, Litera has been raised to the rank of Tactical Adviser, and his specially picked mercenary crew has been given a special commando rank. The attack on Bowser’s Castle by the Yoshi Bodyguards and Mario has begun, and Grodus is beginning to put his own personal scheme into effect. Now, Grodus worries about the SWDF’s intervention preventing him getting the Chaos Emeralds and foiling his operation to take Star World. With his fleet still in shambles, he organizes a desperate move… Chapter 2-1: The Fleet of the X-Nauts X-NAUT FLEET- STALVICK’S FLAGSHIP “DEFENDER OF HEROES”- SOMEWHERE IN DEEP SPACE The Conscripts all sat around in their quarters of the ship. It was a standard military issue cot, containing several bunks, a closet of weapons and cloths, a small storage bunk, and a working bathroom. To the Conscripts, who had been staying out in the wasteland of Fahr Outpost for several months, it was a luxury they couldn’t get enough of. “About time we got a nice place to stay,” said Eli, “Heating, something soft to sleep on, pay raise… These boys really want our business.” Paper sat at a desk, working on some sort of device from spare parts, while Christopher laid in his bunk, shades hanging low as he snoozed. Amphy was jumping on his bunk, Teen Angst was talking on her phone loudly and obnoxiously, and Ripvor was in the corner, meditating. “Been a week with no action,” Eli said, head pointed to Paper, “Think we’ll earn our pay anytime soon?” “Be careful what you wish for,” said Paper, screwing in something to a small canister, “It’s all fun and games until someone gets shot.” “ATTENTION! ATTENTION!” A loud voice blaster through the intercom, “Emergency board meeting for all Elite conscript troopers. This is an order from Lord Grodus himself.” “Boss wants us?” Christopher woke up, and rubbed his eyes, yawning. “Yay! Adventure time!” Amphy skipped out the door, running ahead of the rest of them. “Nice kid. Can’t figure why you hang out with him,” Said Eli. ”We’re business partners. That’s all there is to it. Come on, and grab that broken record over there.” Christopher muttered, as the rest of them followed behind, Paper carrying Teen Angst. CHAPTER 2: THE RENTON SHIPYARDS DEFENDER OF HEROES- BRIDGE The Conscripts walked into the bridge, and were met by Stalvick and Litera, who were standing next to a hologram of Grodus. Hundreds of X-Nauts were working in the room, keeping the ship stable through computer systems. “Ah, these are the men you have been telling me about,” Grodus began, “Admiral Stalvick has informed me of your efforts on Fahr Outpost. I must commend you for beginning our campaign with such a decisive victory. Our tech teams have decrypted the Star World Defensive Force’s technological mainframe, and gained access to their most guarded secrets. Though we did not find exactly what we were looking for, we did find this. TEC-X3, if you will.” “Yes, Sir Grodus.” A robotic voice said. In front of Grodus, another holopad lit up, this one showing a yellow, cloudy planet. Surrounding it was an array of orbital platforms and capital ships. Hundreds of smaller specks floated around the larger ships and platforms. Grodus addressed the group again. “We ascertained the location of the Shipyards of Renton. This base, serving as a refueling and repair station for Star World and the Federation, house a number of functional capitol ships in dry-dock. To help prevent any intrusion of Star World Forces on our coming operations, you all are to assault the shipyards and liberate as many of these ships as possible. Consider the ones you liberate as your first payment.” “We’re getting a battleship as our first payment!” Eli exclaimed, shocked. “Those are worth millions, and think of the technology locked in their hulls…” Paper starched his chin, pondering. ”Gentlemen,” Litera cut in, “I recommend that you launch this attack with the utmost caution. Star World Command can generally reinforce their outlying bases within seven standard hours. You should expect some sort of reprisal from the SWD shortly after the attack begins.” “Ah, the turncoat.” Grodus narrowed his eyes at Litera, “I suggest you pay keen attention to rank when addressing the Admiral and myself, Colonel Litera. Is that understood.” “Yes, Lord Grodus.” Litera said, completely unphased. “Prepare for the coming attack, we will begin within three hours. Dismissed.” Grodus motioned to the door, and the conscripts walked out obligingly. “A ship!” Christopher said, eyes wide in shock, his voice trailing as he walked out, “A freaking capitol ship!” As soon as the rest were gone, all that was left was Stalvick and Grodus’s hologram. Stalvick looked out upon the bridge, looked down, and began to chuckle to himself. “Heh heh heh… You’re beginning to show your age, Grodus,” Stalvick began, grinning, “Give the boy some credit! He just tipped us off to a preeminent attack!” “However resourceful he may prove to be, Toris, he will always be a traitor in my eyes. And you know I cannot abide by a traitor.” TO BE CONTINUED IN CHAPTER 2-2: THE FALL OF RENTON |

Oh Sub, I forgot to mention that Birdross can now use Gunblades besides his revolvers if he's not on a mech. You know how they work right? |

I did explain him. A tall human with almost yellowish skin. His past will be revealed as the story goes on. And Sneezier, I do remember, but for the most part, he'll be in his ship. I might have him use his mecha, though. |

I originally intended this to be half of a part, but it dragged out too long. ![]() And PMF, I had to improvise with the ship names. Chapter 2-2: The Fall of Renton RENTON SHIPYARDS – X-NAUT FLEET PRIMARY POSITION The space around the yellow planet of Renton was filled with battleships, all locked in combat. X-Naut forces had snuck up on the SWD and Federation defenders, and were using what few ships they had to battle the encroaching fleet. Laser bolts whizzed through the empty space, and hulls of ships on both sides were propelled towards the planet below. From the primary command ship, four transports shot out towards the orbital platforms. Each were large enough to hold at least thirty people, and held the markings of the Secret Society of the X-Nauts. Inside them, each of the conscripts were separated, Litera and Paper in one, Amphy and Ripvor in another, Christopher and Teen Angst in another, and the last one holding only Eli and his crew. Each were in heavy space suits, allowing them to survive in space. On the ships, Stalvick’s form appeared on the primary holopad. “Once you have landed on your assigned platforms, you will need to escort the crews to the ships themselves. They will be able to commandeer the ships and turn them over to our control.” A group of Tegan suits broke off from their attack run, and started to trail Eli’s transport, heading toward one of the platforms. “They’re coming in too fast! We’ll be torn to shreds at this rate!” One of the crewmen shouted. “Left wing downed... Engine on critical…” Eli muttered to himself, piloting the transport, “Time for some fancy flying. Hold on to your seats, boys!” “What are you-“ Before the crewman could finish, Eli dropped the transport into a low dive, and it sped toward the platform below. The X-Naut crew screamed as they plummeted, while Eli just hollered to himself. The transport skidded on the orbital platform, as Eli shut off the boosters. After several complete spinouts, the ship came to a complete stop. “This man’s mad!” screamed one of the crewmen. “No, I’m Eli. And you are?” Just then, Eli used a spell to blow open the door to the transport, which was sealed by the fall. “Come on, we’re getting out of here!” As Eli poked his head out, the side of the transport was filled with laser fire. Several SWD troopers had taken position in a bunker above their position. “The rest of you, go! I’ll take care of this!” Eli teleported up to the bunker’s position, and launched a fireball into the front hatch. The bunker lit up with manafire, igniting the armored troopers inside. By that time, the X-Naut crew had already located a smaller SWD Blade Class Starcruiser, one mimicking the designs of Sniffin’s Razor Class Starcruiser prime. Eli noted this, and teleported to the entrance of the ship. “Looks nice… Sleek frame, good armaments… I’m gonna love this one.” Eli stepped into the ship, and saw X-Nauts already at work on transferring it to their control. A chair sat open in the center, surrounded by a command module. Eli sat down, and a series of holoscreens came up. “We brought it online. Control is over to you,” said one of the technicians, “What will you name it.” “Sylloderriga Jet Mk V.” Eli rolled it off of his tongue, as if he had decided it long before. “The Solid… Odenerr… Wha?” One of the X-Nauts blankly stared at him. “Just let me put it in. Get this ship off of the ground, meet the rest of the fleet at the rally point.” With that, the Sylloderriga Jet Mk V’s boosters ignited, and it drifted away from the platform, into the battle beyond. DOCKING PLATFORM BETA Ripvor and Amphy’s dropship flew over the docking bay, followed by two other ships filled with the pilots, avoiding the exchange of fire from the X-Naut and SWD ships. The back of the hull had a gaping hole, and the engine was leaving a trail of smoke locked in the low gravity of space. From the platform below, several cannons began to fire at the lead dropship, seeing it’s approach. “They hit us! We’re hit!” Amphy screamed, shaking Ripvor, “What are we going to do? How will I tell my kids! Wait, I don’t have kids… What if my parents find out! I should have never taken that last cookie! I REGRET MY LIFE!” “Quiet!” Ripvor shouted, his space suit locking down, “Land this ship, I’ll take care of the pathetic cannons.” “What are you-“ But before Amphy could finish, the back hatch of the dropship was closed, and Amphy saw a black blur go past the front window of the dropship. “How will I land this? What does this button do? If I pull this up, the will-“ Before he could finish, the ship rocked again, this time, both engines combusting behind Amphy. “AHHHH!” Amphy screamed, locking down his suit for space. Behind him, the dropship began to break into pieces. Amphy was thrown back by the force of the turbulence, and fell onto the platform below, his suit breaking most of the fall. As Amphy got up, he saw the remains of the transport crash into the platform, exploding. ”We can’t land until we get those guns are offline.” One of the pilots’s voices sounded in Amphy’s earpiece, “Shut them down so we can capture the ships.” “And how do you expect me to-“ Before he could cut in, an explosion knocked him on his side. Amphy could make out the shape of the of the artillery pieces that was hitting the oncoming ships. “AGBAJKHJH-“ Amphy regained his composure, and started to run at the artillery. He charged up a mass of electricity at his tail, and when he got close, unleashed it in a blinding flash. The crew screamed, blinded by the bright light. “One down… Three… Four…” Amphy counted the pieces shooting at the spacecraft, and gulped. He might have some trouble now… Suddenly, a black blur sprinted past him, almost knocking him off of his feet. He saw, in the distance, the cockpit to one of the cannons shatter. There, Ripvor reappeared, and jammed his tail into the pilot. The defenders around the artillery raised their guns, but for naught. Ripvor sliced through their amour with his claws protruding from the arms of his suit, and felled them in one stroke. Amphy could only watch as he took control of the cannon, and fires on three of the other cannons. Each of them was blown apart, casting rubble down to the planet’s surface. The last one took note of the captured artillery, and fired on it. But by then, Ripvor had vanished. Amphy heard the last battery cease firing. The two ships landed on the platform, and X-Naut pilots scrambled out, all running towards two of the docked ships. Amphy followed one group into a large Federation Invasionary Transport, one used to ferry large numbers of troops or supplies through the field while destroying anything in its way. ”Dibs!” Amphy ran into the command bridge, and sat in the command chair, pushing everyone out of his way to get there. Amphy straightened to his back, looking professional, and proceeded to push random buttons on the keypad. “NAME CHANGE ACCEPTED: EHUSGHVY26UJ79/:blunderface” The ship’s computer stated. “Excellent!” Shouted Amphy, “Let’s move out!” ”With all due respect, sir, we haven’t even converted the ship. It could be littered with tracking devices and-“ “I DUNT CARE! Move this ship out!” As the EHUSGHVY26UJ79/:blunderface rose, several Tegan mechs began to tail the ship, noting it’s capture. They strafed the back of the ship, and swooped around on another run, when one of them was shot by a small precision ship cannon. Against the black of space, a sleek, streamlined ship could be made out. On Amphy’s screen, it came up tagged as the Raptor. It was a Merciless Class Stealth Ship; a smaller frigate used on covert operations missions. The design was famed for it’s speed and maneuverability. “We’re going, now.” Ripvor’s voice sounded on Amphy’s headset, “Get to the rally point. The others will catch up.
