Part 3-6: Whatever Happens, Don’t Stop Writing http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XMJGsShgvRI LISTEN TO THE MUSIC OR IT WON’T MAKE SENSE FURTHER ON “Now what do we do?” I asked with a sigh. We were trapped in a dungeon made of the gold metal. Noctus was trying to smash it with his fist. “She managed to use it to destroy our weapons. No doubt, any and all weapons in the area have become part of her new regime in the West.” “Um. Not mine.” The source of this voice was outside the bars of our cell. The Mii charged his Beam Hammer. Or was it a Laser Hammer? DANGIT TOP MAKE YOUR WEAPONS MORE MEMORABLE but either way I remember this charge attack thing. He smacked the bar WHILE firing the beam or laser or whatever it was. The point is, his weapon was apparently not affected by Jupiter’s power, and it smashed right through the bars. “Were we just saved by a Mii?” I asked. “No,” Mouse replied, “YUU didn’t do anything!” “Wait, what?” said the Mii. “Oh right it’s not my fault that’s confusing. Not used to that. Oh and um. I’m Topmonhit.” “Right,” I said sarcastically. “And the Cloud is right nearby, isn’t it? Nice try.” “How did you know about that?” Top asked. I shrugged. “I’ve been around. It’s sort of complicated, you know, having another person in another dimension who’s... somehow kind of the same person... anyway, my other person has been talking to your other person for a while, so I hear stuff.” “Um. What.” Top stared. “Never mind. Let’s just say I know some things. Anyway, is there a chance you could... work the Cloud’s magic?” “No, it’s offline right now,” he said. “I’m just exploding while AFLAC goes to repair it. *exploring” “Hey, as long as you’re not busy not doing any quests, could you help us out?” I asked. “Well technically I already did,” he pointed out. “I meant help us defeat the evil ruler of this place, Jupiter. Well?” “This place is Jupiter? I pictured it a lot more... red. And gravity- ish.” “When I said Jupiter, I meant that’s the ruler,” I corrected. “Oh. Hey Wary did you ever figure out whether I miss Earth or not?” Top, I’m still trying to figure out where you put Origin of the Cloud on your site... hey, wait! Didn’t you not know I existed just a minute or two ago? “Well um... iono, this is your story not mine so it’s really all your fault.” “He’s got a point,” I said. You know, the other me that isn’t narrating. ...I really should make that part less confusing. When I have time. Which, of course, we all know that I never have time for much of anything. Except possibly the advancement of the plot. Only, I think the music for this bit is running out. Let me go back and check. Oh, what do you know, my estimate is at about only halfway through the song. Rejoice, for this bit shall extend for a while. And Top said he liked this song better than Flat Zone 1. Even though I don’t, but I thought both deserved to be in it. And in all honesty, my affection for it is going up from using it in this. I mean, I like it a little better now. FLAT ZONE 1 IS STILL BETTER Now, when we asked Top to help us, he didn’t realize that meant him doing most of the work. I mean, we were all fairly good unarmed fighters, but Topmonhit was impervious to some of the laws of this world’s existence. For one thing, the Tech Core had no effect on his Beam Hammer. I mean Laser Hammer. Whichever one it was. Okay, I went back and checked, since I’m back at home typing now. It is, in fact, a Beam Hammer. So from now on I promise I’ll remember, eh? Also I was a bit off on that special attack. I’ll just copy and paste Top’s description of the attack because I’m lazy.“It can also charge for a beam smash, which is where you prepare to fire a beam out of it, but then swing it like a normal hammer for massive damage.” The copying and pasting messed with my paragraphs. Thanks a lot, WORDPERFECT as you call yourself. Oh, well. I can always... find some other method to fix it I guess. So anyway, Top used his Beam Hammer to smash his way through all of Jupiter’s stuff. She saw him coming and started focusing on the Beam Hammer, but it didn’t work. Nor did any of the robots she sent out to steal it. She screamed as all of us got closer. Top got the Tech Core. If it wasn’t for the dimensional thing, it probably could have repaired the Cloud for him. But alas, it was useless to Top. Hey, I had to make up for his apparent invincibility just now, and really that all makes sense together. Well, that left me and Jupiter on a level playing field–neither of us having a power source. As her gold city started to crumble, I jumped at her and slammed my fist into her, the force knocking her blunt back against a wall and destroying it. I gave chase with my wings, only to be shocked when I saw that she had wings too. “Well, this is interesting,” I said, as all of the technology morphed itself into the way it was before we ever got here, as if nothing had ever been destroyed or turned off at all. “I guess it figures that it would neutralize without a real master using it. But, Jupiter! What kind of being are you, that you would have our wings?” “I’m just the same kind of being as you,” she told me. “Looks like I’ll have to find another way to make this work. You just wait, Ein. I’m going to win this.” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rDyw-f5CXCk&feature=related So Lynn and everyone else set up a little village by the capital. Which hadn’t been revived by the Tech Core and probably never would be. Rotu had faded out of existence shortly after that incident, Matt was missing... she realized there were only five of the original big group left. Because the Tech Core wasn’t fully working again yet, people flocked to this village. Over a long time, it started to become a location in itself. But Lynn wasn’t so concerned with that. She remembered that going back in time was the only way to truly make things right. After all, that had been the goal from the beginning, a long time ago. It seemed like a distant memory. In the East, she remembered, that was the place they were supposed to go. She saw a familiar face come into the village one day. Besides Eibmoz, that is. In an odd twist of fate, the older Noctus had showed up. She started again to wonder what this mysterious boy was. So she decided to question him. “How come you’re one of us?” she asked. “Eibmoz... was my father. He had another element, you see, that’s not in the tales.” “Oh? Really? And here I thought... so what happened to your mother?” He looked down. “We... do not know. Or rather, he will not tell me. It seems to be a sort of a personal issue. All I know is what he wrote in this book.” He pulled out a book that was covered in all sorts of... eyes. They looked around and blinked like real ones in the sockets, and often turned to stare right at her before looking away. “What is that?” Lynn asked. “This? This is Eibmoz’s journal. He... wrote a lot about you. Not a word of any other woman.” He hesitated. “Do you think it’s possible that in the face of all this time traveling... maybe you’re... no, that’s silly. It still doesn’t quite work, does it?” He lifted his headband just for long enough to scratch the covered-up eye. “Well,” she said, “We won’t get anywhere pondering about it here. Do you think, though, that maybe you could let me look through that book?” He shrank back a little bit. “No. F-father told me not to show anyone without his permission. I am to keep it safe for him, and to... continue his tales. Until another person is ready to write down the entire chronicle of all that comes by all of this.” Obviously, that other person eventually turned out to be me. Which is why it’s from my perspective. Okay, terrible excuse. Anyway, he sighed and got up. “It’s been nice talking to you, but I have to go. I, myself, have had some time to think, and... I think I know the woman I might seek myself.” “Who?” she asked, a little dry for drama these days. “She is Mouse’s twin sister. Her name is Nelda. I believe she came shortly after all of you. From what I remember, the girls were about... 18 at the time?” he guessed. “Wouldn’t it be a little dangerous to mix with... different time periods?” Lynn asked. “I don’t think so. It shouldn’t be a problem. After all, now that I’m 22, she’d be nearly 40 years old in this time. I don’t think I like that.” “You were only 2 years old when you joined us?!” Lynn gasped. He laughed. “In time, yes. In maturity, I grew several times faster than I should have. It was one of Father’s last spells before he... sacrificed himself for me.” Lynn looked down. “I see. He’s... deader than ever now, isn’t he?” “Yes, unfortunately,” Noctus sighed. “Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m not sure where Nelda will be. But in any possible case, it would be nice to find her.” Lynn shook her head. The whole idea of it seemed silly. To her, it was as if the age gap would still be there. Of course, she realized, at the same time, Mouse was about a ripe age herself to be going out with... Don’t think about him anymore, she told herself. He’s finished. How old was everyone by now, anyway? This subject dizzied her a little bit. She had lost track of time. But then, so had the whole world with this whole thing. She decided to remind everyone to finally go back in time, like they’d said they would. The group had a tendency to settle down and forget what they were trying to do. It was a real shame, but she had to be the one to break it to them. The last time someone brought up time travel, she thought, he ended up... |

I GOT AN IDEA! First, comment, then, doom. It's Beam Hammer. Read story 8 and it'll be more memorable. I guess. Iono. You know, it's a good thing that Topmonhit the Mii can use The Cloud to pretty much keep his age the same. He/I has/have no idea how old he is. Now, you never specified if you could have more than 1 guest star, so DOOMY DOOMY DOOM Name: Count Bleah Race: N/A Gender: N/A, although if he was either, he'd be male Appearance: ![]() Home Area: Between Dimensions Team/Reasons: the group with ya know Seth and Lynn and those people; Count Bleah plans to act like he's helping them but then end up double-crossing them in some way and helping the planet people until he betrays them and tries to rule the planet so he can destroy Ein and then just send the planet hurtling towards the nearest sun. Oh, what fun! Bio: Evil. Evil. Evil. From what has been revealed in TTE and The Cloud's Origin, Count Bleah was once nothing more than a collection of a sort of dark mist or something. It existed between dimensions, but one day it was able to condense enough and form a portal to another dimension. There, it quickly found a Poppy Bros. Sr. and took over its body, gaining that form. He then went to various dimensions, causing chaos and destruction. Eventually the events of The Cloud's Origin occured, then later the Tick Tack Emissary occured, the end of which had Count Bleah lose the form he had and was trapped in a black chest at an unknown location. In this case, this occurs before TTE. Or it doesn't affect it at all; wouldn't be the first time. Personality: Um. I believe I already explained this in his bio. Items/Weapons: Dark, dimensional powers of doom. Anything dark or shadowy or dimensional he could use with his staff. He could also smack people around with it. If that doesn't work, give 'im whatever the heck you want as long as it isn't light. ;o I need to use Count Bleah in less destructive uses and more working-for-everyone-while-working-for-only-himself-to-cause-mass-chaos-and-doom-everywhere uses. |

Hooray more time confusion. Anyway I think I like the song Flat Zone 1 better but Flat Zone 2 is a lot neater. Also I remember it's a beam hammer because one time in a Kirby mixed abilities thread Top had that after like Rock and Iron Hammer and it stuck for some reason. |

Wary I just realized you missed an obvious problem with your equation. If you multiply Jupiter's power source by a nonexistant meaningless that has absolutely no value, that whole thing is a nonexistant meaningless that has absolutely no value, regardless of how many natural logs you divide it by. Therefore, (q^2) - d*g^n = m q^2 = d*g^n + m q = sqrt(d*g^n + m) Lunch, garbage, and the square root of the pants of some monster with bla bla bla, can all easily be found, making them not variables so much as things you don't know the ascii code for. The only unknowns are the tech core and insanity. And the dimensions it exists in are just insanity/2, I think. |

If the meaninglessness was equal to zero, that might be the case. But it's not equal to anything. And the reason they're considered variables is for solving purposes, i.e. the way you would arrange them in order to MAKE the Tech Core (do I add, subtract, multiply or divide this object, etc.) ...Okay I might use your solution in a further edit. Only because it has "absolutely no value" which could actually mean that |a| = NO SOLUTION |

Well, as weird as it is multiplying not numbers, I think you could probably ignore undefined stuff anyway. Or it just wouldn't work at all. And I'm assuming it works. |

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9iq3tdDM550 Part 3-7: Far Wars – The Shocking Revelation Lynn knocked on Eibmoz’s door. She heard a big thunk and the door opened. Eibmoz put his disembodied head back on his shoulders. “Oh, hi, Lynn. I wasn’t expecting you to show up. What brings you here?” “Noctus told me a thing or two,” she said casually. “But not enough.” “Oh, um, I’d rather not talk about it. Personal reasons,” he added. “Can you understand?” “Eibmoz, I can’t see you liking anyone else.” “That’s a particularly touchy subject. Can’t you ever trust me?” “I know you too well. I know about those cookies, I know about the base. I’m giving you the chance to tell me about whatever it was that happened... on your own.” He gasped. “Uh, listen, I forgot to, uh–BYE!” He slammed the door in her face. She pulled out her icy, two bladed axe and hacked at Eibmoz’s front door. It split into firewood and got out of the way. She chased Eibmoz into a room just as he was jumping out the window. Suddenly the room’s door behind her slammed shut on its own. Something grabbed her from behind, and all went black... “Well, it’s been nice meeting you all, but I have things to get to,” Matt said. “So, I guess, Mars gets leadership of your group, good luck against Jupiter and all that, but could someone warp me back to the capital at least?” Mercury and Neptune worked together to teleport him back to the ruins. “There must be some way to revive it...” As Mercury and Neptune returned to the base, they saw a weird-looking person. I really don’t know how to properly describe what he looks like. He’s sort of an orange color, has purple clothes, a monocle and a staff. “Who are you?” Mars was asking. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fjA3Rmt6Mw8&feature=related “Me? I’m Count Bleah,” announced the newcomer. “I’d probably have a much better sort of personality if Wary hadn’t received such a vague one.” “What are you talking about?” asked Pluto. “Oh, never mind,” Count Bleah said. This is perfect, he thought to himself. A bunch of people with too much power and nothing to do with it. Matt walked into the old capital. This was before the village had been set up, but the next scene is another time anomaly that... oh, never mind, you’ll see. He trudged through the debilitated streets, stepping carefully over metal scraps. He felt a presence in here that he couldn’t possibly leave there. A familiar voice came up behind him. “Looking for something?” He turned around, but the source was gone, now above him. “It’s really too bad for you. You see, I’ve made a small sort of... deal with Count Bleah.” Sorry Top, I know you didn’t say anything about this sort of thing, but the result will work perfectly, I guarantee. The environment around them turned to darkness for a split second, then space. Matt looked around to see that he was standing on small bits of matter, somewhere in, apparently, outer space. The form of Rotu, consumed by an otherworldly sort of glow, floated in front of him. “I’ve traded some of the powers I got from you... for some of his own. Now you can’t negate my stronger attacks anymore!” He fired two consuming blasts of antimatter at Matt, which he could not block properly but rather had to dodge. The two then came at each other with swords. Their bit of matter dropped harshly down into a city square. “Do you remember this place, father?” Rotu asked, cackling as Matt realized the location. Kinok City, before it was destroyed. The birth of this entire adventure. “I rule this place, fool!” With that, he clashed with Rotu again, jumping up and onto a house nearby. It all seemed so familiar and nostalgic. “This is only an illusion, you know.” Rotu waved a hand, and the ground crumbled, dumping them down towards the center of the illusionary world, exchanging blows in the air. It was the lair of Eibmoz that they finally entered now, negotiating lava pits and the occasionally escaping experiment and such. “How can you possibly build such a thing out of my memories? Not yours.” He pushed Rotu towards the exact containment chamber he’d once been stuck in, then attempted to seal it. “I know more than you can understand. Not so fast!” The door’s seal disappeared, and the floor pulled Matt forward. They then entered a strange area–the true Shrine of Wrerga, as Matt had seen it before in his first encounter with Eibmoz. “You never truly came back, did you? But I did. That’s why I’m so much more powerful than you ever were.” “But all of that power was compromised when you worked with Count Bleah!” Matt said, as if he knew who Count Bleah was perhaps. The battle continued up the steps out of the True Shrine, and they appeared in Kinok Castle, the one used by the royal line of Ramarito. “This place defies your rule!” Rotu shouted. “It’s your legitimacy too! And now both are gone!” Next they continued onto a mountain, and into a desert, battling as they went. Next was the great plains of Morla, and even the turkey farm. This was finally followed by Future Ein’s prison, the surface, and the undestroyed Derriga capital. During the battle, however, each building went back down to ruin. “You’re the one that destroyed my mother’s spirit, you know. That’s why I’ve renounced you as my father!” “It doesn’t work that way. There’s no way I’d destroy anyone I cared about... at least not on purpose!” As he said this, he realized the next areas were from the future. They flashed by in the blink of an eye, and finally came to rest at his old home with his family in the forest. “This is where your grave stands today,” Rotu explained. “Well that means that first, I’m making it back to my own time!” Matt said, not daunted by the thought of death one bit. In a blur of motion, the two ended up a blur of confusion, finally with Matt behind his son, blade to the boy’s neck. As it drew blood, the blood’s power spread out of his body and into Matt’s own. He felt a bit odd from the combination. He almost wanted to refuse it because of what might happen if the wrong types of power mix. Yet, an increase in power felt so good... he pressed the blade deeper into Rotu’s neck, letting it all come inside him. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2DB7-K08vos Both screamed with the rush of power..........and, separately, disappeared. Lynn woke up in an odd room. Apparently the technology wasn’t gone here. She found a beam sword next to the bed, grabbed it, and started heading down the passage. “You’re a pretty strong fighter, Lynn,” said Noctus from the other side of the dark room. “But you are not a master yet.” He pulled out a beam sword and fought her for a few seconds, no reason forthcoming. She was surprised at her own skill. Then he started going on the aggressive, forcing her out to a platform standing over a pit. They fought for a minute more, then she realized there was no more room for her to back up. “Eibmoz never told you about my mother,” Noctus said. “That is true,” she said. “Well, Lynn... you are my mother.” She stared in shock. “That’s... that’s not true... that’s IMPOSSIBLE!” She woke up to realize it was all only a dream. Matt appeared high above an island he didn’t recognize, feeling a need to outlet this huge power that he’d just acquired. He plummeted down towards the surface and saw a jungle filled with a tribal people. He shot out power and obliterated everything in sight. Trees crashed down. Animals of all types ran in panic. People came at him with all sorts of powerful magic and weapons, but always were struck down, one by bloody one. Then he started turning all of those people he’d just killed into monsters and forced them into little gladiator rings, still attacking everything in sight with his new strength.“You know, having no real opposition is actually a little fun,” he said to himself, laughing in a certain way. Somewhere, Count Bleah was laughing with him. Lynn woke up back in Eibmoz’s house and found a letter next to the bed. Dear Lynn, I’m sorry I never told you this bit before. When we were together for a short time in the Tritrite Academy, I took some of your blood and used it with a forbidden demonic magic to... create Noctus. I was insane, possessed by the very being I was trained to enslave. But that is no excuse for hiding from you the identity of... your son. Love, Eibmoz “I... I can’t believe that!” She freaked out for a half-second, then ran to go find Noctus. The letter's paperweight, she hadn't noticed, was a Darth Vader bobblehead. I chased after Jupiter, high above the surface. But suddenly, in a faraway distance, we both saw a flash of violent power. With a glance at each other, we raced off towards it, clearing the land and flying out towards the open sea. Our powers of the Sils, awakened in the blood of the Falî race, let us fly on in a burst that took us all the way there. The island we arrived at was filled with a certain dark power. Grotesque monsters greeted us as we made it onto the island itself. “Jupiter, I know this has been a mess, but the Tech Core isn’t here and we both know it’s not worth all this destruction.” “Yeah, I know, Ein. We ought to team up. Because you and I are from opposite sides of the mirror, our powers should augment each other. Ready?” I blinked. “What are you talking about?” “Something that takes more time than we have!” With that, she reached her hand out towards mine, and I felt an odd link of power. It boosted that which I had lost already. She handed over my arrowspear and pulled out a sword that greatly resembled the arrowspear. In case I haven’t mentioned this yet, the arrowspear is a special lance that can exchange length of the blade for length of the handle. I also have a spell that fires it magically at my opponent, and it automatically returns to me. These monsters were tougher than any of the ones I’d run into before. It took all the effort that both of us may have had in order to destroy any of them. Disturbingly, as each died it morphed into a human form which lay there bleeding and burned. The leader of the beasts suddenly sent out a huge blast that destroyed anything that came between him and us. I saw Matt floating there with a terrible aura around him. “I know you two... you’re more of those power-filled fools, aren’t you?” I didn’t know much, but I figured it was some sort of spirit. “What have you done to Matt? He was one of my best friends!” “What do you mean? I AM Matt. I’ve just lost a little bit of thought in exchange for what is so much more important in this world: power! Some of the powers of Count Bleah!” Jupiter gasped. “That... that can’t be... not Count Bleah! Ein, we have to give this fight all that we’ve got!” I realized we were both incredibly tired. “But we’ve got nothing.” Matt suddenly fell to the ground. “Damn. Same here. And I thought maybe I’d be able to leech some power from you two. But there’s none to go around. So all three of us are left sitting ducks here. And my monsters are still around.” The bulk of the army charged us, but together we managed to keep ourselves working long enough to survive. Me, Jupiter, the Matt of Count Bleah... the unlikely trio as we were, survival is usually first priority. Thus, we kept fighting... until the very end... despite the difficulty of keeping it up for as long as we did. Somehow, we managed it. |

He's not orange, he's the color of I gues it'd be human flesh. Anyway, HE'S EVIL AND SINISTER AND CRAFTY AND UNDERHANDED AND SNEAKY AND EVIL AND WICKED AND DEVIOUS AND SHIFTY AND VILE AND DASTARDLY ...and yet, despite all that, he can be very calm when he wants to be, which is when he's trying to gain the trust of someone so he can blow them up later. But you used him well. Which means... iono Anything about what sort of thing? Anyway, songs 1 and 2 were good. |

Well SZM I get that but if you look at the timeline LYNN WOULD KNOW IF SHE WAS SOMEONE'S MOTHER! This is what makes it a plot twist. Only way it worked. And yes, I tried to prolong that bit but there was only so much I could do. And Top, by "that sort of thing" I just meant that you only signed him up for the planet people. But I hadn't fully explained some bits of Rotu's change, so I decided to get Count Bleah in on that and suddenly I had a HUGE shortcut to Matt becoming a villain. That made two plot twists in one part, so I'm happy. YAY TOP LIKED SOME OF THE MUSIC my favorite music/scene coordination I've EVER done was song 2 of this one. |
