Craig lowered his gun, still ready to shoot at anything he deemed a threat, or get a bit more personal if need be. He looked the girl up and down, sizing her up as it were. Another habit he'd got into when serving in eastern Europe after one of his squad members was killed by a plain clothed terrorist pretending to be a prisoner. He noted her reaction to putting weight on her leg, he put it down to her being on the ground and sounding quite shaken, so he reasoned that she'd fallen over at some point and buggered her leg.

He paused as she asked him not to put her back in the cells. His face hardened and his eyes grew dark as he began to speak.
"Lets get this straight kid, the world's gone to shit and personally I don't want to go with it. So I'm not taking any unnecessary risks, that includes going out of my way to put you back in a cell where you could just add to the already rampant hoard of undead wandering the halls and streets of wherever the hell this place is, when I could just put a bullet in your head and be done with it. Now if you want to have a foetid dingo's kidneys chance in hell of getting through this modern day holocaust, you better buck up, take a good hold of that pistol and pick up the pace because I do not want to have to carry you if you fall."

Craig turned away and then stopped and looked back.
"And if you get bitten I will not hesitate to shoot you."

Jordan lent against the wall waiting to get moving again,he was a little anxious, and he knew why, even if there weren't any zombies around staying in the one place for a long time just didn't seem like a good idea.Arianna quickly appeared and went into the room after Craig and got her dog,Jordan didn't pay her much attention
I get the feeling the new girl doesn't like the dog either, hopefully the other girl keeps it under control

Jordan unzipped the supply bag he had been carrying and grabbed a bottle of water from it,he took a couple of mouthfuls and tossed it back in the bag,he then looked for closely into the bag just to see what what was still in there,a couple of bottles of water, some pain killers,as he was digging around Jordan's hand hit something solid and metal,he quickly pulled it out,it was a pistol, what kind of pistol he had no idea but he was pretty sure he knew who it belonged to
A think this is Rhae's,well am guessing it is,Craig took it from her after he put a bullet in her head, too bad,she should have been more careful, but there aint no point on dwelling on it,zombies are everywhere people are likely to die even if they managed to survive for a little while
Jordan checked the gun,it was loaded, magazine probably wasn't full but he didn't check,he just made sure the safety was on then put it in the back of his jeans
"Just in case" he said quietly

Jordan continued to dig through the bag,he found some ammo for the gun and some boxes of bandages,he glanced at his arms and noticed the bandages he was wearing had gotten very damp in the rain so he quickly took them off and throw them on the floor, the wounds hadn't healed but the bleeding had stopped so that was enough for him he didn't like wearing bandages in the first place
As Jordan listened to the new girl and Craig he reloaded the shotgun he was carrying, the girl seamed scared although Jordan could see why, after Craig had finished speaking he got up of the wall and stood in the doorway
"If you didn't like the cells, maybe you shouldn't have got your self put in there in the first place,we're in the middle of a zombie infested city I don't think we really need a criminal, who is also injured..I say we leave her here, she's lasted this long on her own so am sure she'll be fine, not that I really care if she doesn't survive"
Jordan cocked the shotgun and raised it slowly

Arianna folded her arms and glanced angrily at the two men. She told Dog to sit and stay firmly before coming closer. Dog whined as she approached the girl. She softly took the girls arm in an attempt to steady her. She glared at Craig and Jordan. "It may be the downfall of me; but I feel that if a victim appears injured and unbitten, you should lend a hand. Not stand there staring at her." She turned to the girl. "Don't mind them, they obviously don't know how to be gentlemen. I would expect more from a Scot." She smiled warmly. "Alright boys lead the way. Our new friend here can tell us where it's infested or not." She turned to the girl again. "Right?"

Dog

Dog didn't want to let his master approach the new girl, it could be dangerous. However, he listened to his master's command. His ears perked up as he heard something in the depths of the prison. It sounded mechanical, and it sounded like it was about to give out. He let out a low whine.

Catherine's mouth was dropped open at these Scottish men. Foreigners... Always so annoying... We'd be better off without them sometimes, she thinks. Her jaw is set firmly as she watches the one who had talked to her beginning to walk away. You'll shoot me? I ain't no push over, though... I'll see you well on your way first. The second man was talking now. Yeah, she was going to get pissed off at them a great deal. Possibly to the point that she would honestly prefer a bullet to the brain, actually. She shifts her weight onto one leg before trying to apply more to her hurt one. That was when the girl lightly took her arm in order to help. Okay, now this is just plain weird... Her gaze shifts to this girl with the kind smile. Gentlemen were not real. Nationality did not matter so much. Why anyone would attempt to act like a semi-decent human in this new age was truly baffling to the girl who had landed herself in confinement from getting into courtyard brawls.

Her eyes move to look forward as she begins her limping forward. He gait was definitely annoying to have, but the Scots were right. If she wanted to live she would have to keep up and pull her own weight. Though, the fact that they were a human buffet was a bit of a disturbing fact to her. She runs a tongue over her chapped lips as she murmurs, "Most of this place is infested. . . Badly. The guards were not locked up. The other inmates not in solitary are roaming about the cell dorms rather freely too. Really, there is no where truly safe right now. You'll run into them more if you head out from here." Her hands shake for a moment as she looks at the gun. They're so easy to use. . . but why does it make me so shaky? Her eyes close for a moment and in the pitch black behind her lids she gets a flash of a bloodied man, dying on the cold wet pavement of some random alleyway. The guy had not stood a chance with a knife when she had that gun before, but it was his fault for trying to pull such a stunt. Atleast, that is what Catherine keeps telling herself.

Her eyes open at a faint noise she could not really make out and the whining of the dog. Yeah, dogs whining was always a bad sign, particularly in these days. She holds the gun in front of herself and cocks it before pushing the safety forward. She knew they could not afford an accident or even for someone to be bitten. A shiver runs down her spine at the thought of what would become of anyone bitten. Yet, she figures she could flip the switch fast enough should the need arise to shoot first and ask questions later.

Craig knew he was being a dick, his internal dickometer had went through the roof the moment he opened his mouth, the only reason he didn't see to it was that he'd had a particularly crappy day what with his 'emergency landing' into the side of an office building, shooting two living people in the head, both women to boot, he was sure he was going to hell for that one. He saw a friend and his girlfriend split in half by a shattered rotatory blade and had to pop his own shoulder back in place, that was bound to hurt in the morning or once the adrenaline wears off he was sure. So in a fine mood he wasn't.

He clocked the dog whining, whining was not only annoying, loud and quite possibly giving their position away, it meant trouble was coming and that was something he'd rather do without for about twenty minutes so he could cool his head and dry off a bit. He let out an irritable sigh and holstered his pistol, then drew his machete, slowly, probably to being as threatening as possible, maybe he just enjoyed being in a position of power, maybe he was trying to scare everything with a pulse, he didn't really care at that moment.

He tossed the blade into the air, not that this served any real purpose apart from adding some flash to the moment. He caught the handle as the blade completed an entire revolution and fell into his hand. Then he spoke quietly.
"I think we may have company."

Craig walked slowly from the room and round the corner out of sight. There was the sound of a blade cutting air and then a sickening crunch as it tore through bone, flesh and muscle, followed by a dull thump. Craig called back.
"Yep we definitely have company."

Jordan sighed at the situation, the two girls had sided with each other which would likely end up making a little complicated, and that was something they really didn't need just now,but what was there to do. Jordan thought he was doing the right thing, this was some wounded criminal who would only be a liability, and he was considering survival now more than compassion for other humans, people die now and there was no helping it

The room was silent apart from the dog which continued to whine over next to the girls,Jordan tensed his grip on the shotgun trying to control his frustration
Please just shut up you stupid mut, that whining is really startin to piss me off,you making all that noise aint helpin anybody just now

Jordan glanced at Craig,he had just taken out his machete and was informing them of not being alone any more,as he left the room Jordan remained where he was,his grip on the shotgun tightening even more
"Am guessing zombies" he said his voice tinted with sarcasm
Jordan heard Craig's machete connecting with flesh, the thump of something hitting the floor, then Craig's voice calling back
"Yeah its zombies,oh well this nice and happy zombie free time wasn't goin to last that much longer anyway"he said with a slight laugh in his voice

Jordan walked towards the door,he stopped and turned back to the two girls
"Right the drama is goin to hiv to wait,we cin deal with this shit later, right now the guys who are trying to eat us are the problem, not you two, just kill the zombies and try to not get yourself killed, cause am no helpin the two ae you oot if somthin happens, hell you two gettin eatin might slow them down"
Jordan held the shotgun at the ready and stepped out into the hall

Arianna motioned for Dog to be quiet and glared at Jordan. "There is no drama unless you make it so. Don't worry, I can fend for myself." She unholstered her gun and pulled out a couple of throwing knives. It would be easier if they made less noise to begin with. She again motioned to Dog and he fell in behind her. She kept a wary eye on the injured girl, she was well aware that the could all use the help of each other. Just then the lights blinked out as the power source was lost. There was a hum as the automatic lockes were opened. The backup generator was not fast enough to kick on before all locks were opened. "Shit" She murmurmed under her breath. "That's all we need now!" Slowly the lights came back to fill the prison. She threw her first knife at the coming horde and felled a zombie, the blade deep in his head. She gave a thumbs up to Dog and he took off like a silent bullet into the crowd of the slow moving undead.

Dog methodically picked out zombies to take down. He was trained for this sort of thing as a thief's companion. He leapt silently and killed silently. he had figured out long ago how to dispatch a zombie. His main job was to look for ankle biters. He knew that they were sneaky and quick to kill a human. he tore into fetid flesh as he took down his first zombie of the night. He ripped and tore digging into the softness of the skull. Soon enough, it was unable to function.
I wish I knew what it felt like to be a villain.

Cat swallows hard and steps back and to the side to see what was going on in the hallway that varied grunts, thumps and groans were coming from. Craig, of course, was over dead zombies as the dog cut a path through. It was kinda screwed up, to her, that the canine was being basically ignored by the flesh-hungry cretins that were after them all. Jordan steps out into the hall and appears ready. Are they all mental? They should be using the hall being a funnel to their advantage! Why would you rush to meet them if you all have a gun? she wants to scream out all sorts of obscenities at the group who were all but throwing themselves in to die. She, on the other hand, would let the bait others go forth if they wished and simply further back. If things got bad, them being zombie fodder with just increase her own chances of getting away to somewhere safe.

Lifting her arms straight out, one hand clasped to pull the trigger, the other wrapped about to steady after the kickback, Catherine closes one eye and draws back her finger. Bang! Her heart slams against her ribs in sheer startle from the noise. The bullet had gone through the leg of one of the zombies, shredding their muscles enough that it was severely slowed. Okay, I know I am certainly not much of a shot. . . She breaths slower and pulls the trigger again. Bang! Bang! her hand had slipped and caused her to fire twice. The first hit its intended mark. The crippled zombie simply collapsed to the floor. Now, to Catherine's surprise, the second found another mark, sailing through the eye of another and sending a spray of brains back onto those following in its path.

Craig changed his grip on the machete so that the blade was now protruding from the bottom of his hand. He took up a fluid close quarters stance, he lunged forward, slashing stabbing and even punching the undead at every chance. Three fell before one landed on his back, he dropped on his knee instinctively and threw the zombie over his head and onto the ground in front of him where he plunged the machete into it's head then released his solid white-knuckle grip on the handle, stood up and took a few steps back to fall in line next to the mess hall doors. He drew his pistol and began to fire. His heart thumped in his chest so hard that his body swayed with the gunfire. His whole body was on fire, he'd taken more of a beating in the crash than he'd thought, and the adrenalin only served to dull the pain some.

"There cannae be much mare of these fucks kin there?"
He'd not noticed his slip back into a more Scots slang way of talking. Back in the Corporation he'd been told that the hotter the battle got the more Scottish he became. His commanding officer once mentioned that if his Scots moments where he'd shout profanity across the way at the enemy hadn't had such a positive effect on morale he'd have been in solitary for at least a week.

He noticed the convict they'd found limping and trying to fire a gun she clearly didn't know how to use, but managing to hit targets none the less, whether she meant to or not was a different story.
"Well you certainly didn't end up here for shooting someone."

He lowered his pistol and began to reload, the hoard was slow and endless and he wasn't sure if there was enough ammo to finish them, then again he thought, it could just be the corridor making it look as if there are many more than there actually is.

Jordan raised the shotgun quickly and fired straight ahead, the blast caught one zombie square in the chest, tearing out a portion of its internal organs,it groaned in pain then fell backwards into the others before collapsing on the floor, but it wasn't enough it started to crawl slowly along the floor, edging a little closer to the band of survivors
"Fuck, the bastard ain't dead"Jordan spat as he fired two more shots into the horde, several staggered but none went down and actually stayed there,he decided to ignore the ones on the ground for now,he would deal with them when they were close enough to bite off a chunk of his foot, for now the ones who had a chance of getting really close were the real problem

Jordan noticed the Arianna girl throw a knife at the zombies catching one in the head before signalling to her dog to move,he watched the dog dive into the horde biting zombies as it went
Great its a ankle biter, why do a hate it even more now
The other girl started firing at the horde and Jordan noticed the shot hitting the leg of a zombie, before firing again this time hitting one in the head
This doesn't seem tae be going to well, they two an army boy are hitting them but its too many for us tae handle by the look of it,where is a grenade when you need one

After firing yet another two shots against the horde Jordan decided the shotgun wasn't working they way he had hoped,he was bringing down several zombies but he was only slowing them down he handed actually killed any,he stuffed the shotgun quickly into the supply bag,it didn't fit very well but he didn't really car about that just now,he pulled out the hand gun he had and quickly fired at the horde, one shot struck the base of a zombie's neck the other went straight through another's open mouth,he then turned his attention to one of the ones crawling along the floor, its head was slightly raised staring blankly at the survivors it intended to feast on. Jordan pulled the trigger and the bullet tore through the zombies forehead, exiting at the back of its skull
"Any ideas about where we can fuckin run tae, this ain't goin well an if we don't get oot ae here we are completely fucked"
