So people can post pictures of food that they've made, or their favorite dishes/recipes, etc. Here, I'll start. I made Banana Bread today! It contains the following: brown sugar, coffee, mashed bananas, large egg, egg white, canola oil, vanilla, flour, baking powder, baking soda, nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger, and a dash of salt. It's still cooling right now, but my house smells amazing. :) ![]() |

Oh! It was super easy. I found the recipe online on EatingWell's website. 1. preheat oven to 350 F and lightly oil 9-by-5 loaf pan (or use foil like I did and butter it up a bit). 2. combine 1/3 cup of hot brewed coffee and dissolve 2/3 cup of brown sugar in a bowl. stir in mashed bananas. 2. whisk together 1 large egg, 1 egg white, 3 tablespoons canola oil, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla in a bowl. Add the banana mixture. 3. whisk together 2 cup flour, 1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, 1 teaspoon nutmeg, 1 teaspoon ginger, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon baking soda. 4. Pour into loaf pan and bake for 40-50 minutes in oven. Check the middle with a toothpick. Once the toothpick comes out clean, remove bread and set on rack in pan for 10 minutes. 5. Invert pan and set banana bread on a plate and let cool until at room temperature. I saw some people added nuts and chocolate chips to theirs. The cool thing about it is the recipe is so simple you can add all sorts of stuff to it. :) |

Conjecture: Every internet venture will end in recipes. There's a big football game here on Saturday. I think that'll be a good day to make cookies and soup and bread. |
