The Gauntlet
Here is where your Star of Destiny will face a random obstacle course or series of events in which they must complete or reach a certain goal! If you don't want to go the gauntlet alone, you can also call someone out to a specific contest of your own choosing to run in the gauntlet from a simple foot race between your characters to an arm wresting match.
Choosing to enter the gauntlet is proof enough that you have faith in both your Star of Destiny and your roleplaying skills! If you think your character is up for some hard work, this is where you need to be. Members who put on an exceptional show will be rewarded for their tenacity and skill.

Budehuc Castle
A castle lying the edge of the northern border between the Zexen Confederacy and the Grassland, Budehuc Castle has played a large role in the complicated politics of the area. Granted status as a free-trade zone during the Fire Bringer War, the area allowed prospective shop owners to set up business without needing to purchase the expensive licenses they would otherwise be required to pay in the Zexen Confederacy. Budehuc Castle currently serves as the home base of the Fire Bringer. This castle is owned and governed by the young lord Thomas. Though he is young he believes in equal opportunity and safety for all of the residents at Budehuc Castle. |

Mt. Hei-Tou
Mt. Hei-Tou is more of a valley with intertwining streams than it is a mountain. It is located between Budehuc Castle, Zexen, and Grassland. Mt. Hei-Tou is also an interesting location for explorers. Those brave enough to venture into the woods may encouter giant crablike organisms that leave behind ample Potch and several free items, common and rare alike.

Amur Plains
The Amur Plains are a region of the Grasslands that span from just east of Brass Castle to the Duck Village. The Amur Plains are very wide open and of mild temperature, making it an ideal area to camp out in. It is the location of several battles of conflct in the Grasslands, such as the battle between the Fire Bringer and the Harmonian army where Sarah conjured illusions that attacked the Fire Bringer. It was also here that the Zexen Knights fought through Grasslanders to gain entry into Karaya after a failed attempt at a peace treaty between Zexen and Grassland early on in the war. The Amur Plains northern region is a bit more forested and is home to wild horses.

Karaya
The Karaya clan, one of the Six Clans of the Grassland, is one of the more warlike tribes which live throughout the Grassland plans. Their chief, Lucia, is well respected in the Grasslands and has a reputation of putting her people above all. Karayas are well known for their bravery, and, off the battlefield, their pottery; Karayan Urns can be found as far south as the Queendom of Falena. The Karaya are also known as strong believers in elemental worship, placing their faith in earth spirits. Some Karayans are even able to communicate with the elements themselves. |

Great Hollow
One of the more active tribes of the Grassland, the Lizard Clan is one of the most violent clans within the Six Clans of the Grassland. However, they are not entirely committed to the battle - one will still find a great number of ameneties in their home in the Great Hollow - though these ameneties are more catered towards the lizards than any other race; for example, the preferred bedding in the Great Hollow is simply the stone floor. Merchants in both Zexen and the Grassland often come to the Great Hollow to trade wares. The Great Hollow, more than just the Home of the lizard clan, also serves as a powerful defensive structure when needed. The cave prevents access from all but two points, and it is well guarded. It is known to become an impregnable fortress during times of war, making it a valued refuge for allied clans who have been defeated in battle. |

Ancient Highway
An ancient underground path that links the Lizard Clan's Great Hollow and opens up again in an area near the Duck Clan. The Lizard Clan knows of its existence and uses it to conduct raids on Zexen Confederacy forces as well as to confuse their enemies as to the location of their troops. The highway was built by the Sindar in ancient times, and links this place with a vast maze of ruins. |

Duck Village
Known for the military prowess, the Duck Clan possess a hardy military, which combined with it's relatively sophisticated culture and advanced architecture and engineering, make it the most advanced of all the clans in the Grassland. Headed by Sergeant Jordi, their force is one to be reckoned with at a time of war for the Grasslands. Closely aligned with the Karaya Clan in recent years, the Duck Clan also fought in the First Fire Bringer War on the side of Flame Champion. Their village is built across Duke Lake and is capable of being submerged as a defensive measure |

Kuput Forest
A forested area lying in between Vinay del Zexay and Brass Castle, the Kuput Forest is an frequented path taken by travellers on their way to the Confederacy's capital. The city being rich in trade, it is through the forested path that merchants must travel in order to transport their merchandise outside of Zexen. Monsters in the area are relatively weak, although it is not uncommon for a party to encounter a particularly powerful foe.

Chisha Village
The most peaceful of the Six Grassland tribes, Chisa Village is the longstanding home of Nacluv, the Flame Champion and his wife, the late chief Sana. The village is known for it's vast underground network and stone houses. The village produces a lot of wine, and its high quality is well-known throughout the lands. Due to the fact that they are located far away from most other clans, visitors are rare, and usually require guides and guards to pass through the vicious Kuput Forest.

Flame Champion's Hideaway
The Hideaway of Nacluv, the Flame Champion. Positioned north of the Kuput Forest and inside of a mountainous incline, the Hideaway is unknown to the vast majority of the world. The inner network of tunnels stretch seemingly forever in every direction and any who stumble upon it by accident and venture inside suffer the possibility of being lost within the depths of the Hideaway. Deep within, there lies the hideout of the Flame Champion, a room containing all of Nacluv's precious belongings and trappings.

Ceremonial Site
A huge Sindar ruin that lies in northern Grassland.
The Sindar ruin itself is a huge machine that can magnify the power of True Runes in ways unimaginable. Some consider the ruin a method for gaining powers of different True Runes to be focused on one individual in an attempt to gain superior power. Others consider it to be little more than a highly powerful weapon.

Vinay del Zexay
Capital of the Zexen Confederacy, Vinay del Zexay is a large port town, located on the western coast of the Grassland. The Zexen Council rules this city with an iron fist with considerable influence from the Merchant's Guild whose headquarters are located in the center of the city. Vinay del Zexay is always bustling with activity, with a lively market thriving every day at the town square. Thousands of knights can be seen on daily patrol in this city, their head knight Chris Lightfellow is well respected and loved by all. The city also has a large entertainment district which is very popular with tourists as well as the many wealthy merchants who live in the area. Various artisans practice their trade in this area of the city and late-night balls are often held to entertain foreign guests. |

Zexen Forest
A thick forest outside of Vinay del Zexay that stretches from the outskirts of the capitol miles until it finally opens up into the Amur Plains. There is a well lit and used main road to follow between the two areas, built so that travelers don't have to venture off into the vast woods if they don't want too. Considering the wealth of people passing through these woods, bandits used to find their work often here.

North Cavern
A cave north of Vinay del Zexay that is primarily known for its seclusion and fantastic view of the ocean. It is because of this privacy that criminals and bandits base their operations out of the cave.

Iksay Village
A small village located in northern Zexen, quite near Budehuc Castle, Iksay is a relatively inconsequential village known for its windmills amongst other things. The village is also famed for its annual summer harvests which are known to draw eager participants from all over the Confederacy. A giant windmill can be seen for miles and miles upon approaching this farming town.
At the north end of the village, a fantastic view of the wheat fields can be seen.

Yaza Plain
A lively field surrounded by Grassland and Zexen posts, including Brass Castle, the Great Hollow, and Budehuc Castle. If one travels north, they will find themselves in the Great Hollow. If one travels due south from the Great Hollow, they will end up in the area surrounding Brass Castle. Traveling west from Brass Castle will lead the individual to Budehuc Castle as well as Iksay Village. Yaza Plain is oddly beautiful thanks in large part to the blue sky that complements the undisturbed landscape. Still, not many take the time to appreciate the beauty of the plains as they find themselves on the move to larger places of interest.

Brass Castle
Built directly on the border between the Zexen Confederacy and the Grassland, Brass Castle serves as the first line of defence for any western attack into the Zexen Confederacy. The castle was finished in the year 422 during the Fire Bringer War in order to fortify the region from the Grassland tribes. The castle is built on an "island" between two canyons, connected to the mainland by two large, stone bridges. The castle's walls are quite high, so much so that those on the interior of the fortresses walls cannot look beyond them to the mountains outside of the castle. The castle is well staffed by many Zexen Knights who are stationed to protect the interior, making the heavily fortified Brass Castle one of the most powerful defensive structures in Zexen. Shortly following construction of the castle, the town of Brass was built up around it; the people hoping to gain some measure of protection by it's presence. The castle is extremely old, and many of those currently living within it do not know the entirety of the structure. There are many secret passages, including an underground tunnel that connects the castle to an outside wall, and an escape tunnel running from one of the bedrooms in the fortress to outside Brass Castle, via the sewers beneath it. |

Le Buque
Originally a tribe of Grasslands, the town of Le Buque is a site to be seen. A large city built on a high cliff, Le Buque is the home of a large town as well as the home of the mantor trainers and the mantors themselves. The homes have been build to accommodate the mantors; in fact, the ceiling of every home in the town is a mantor nest. Due to the high cliffs the town was built on, large wooden bridges provide passage through the town. The people of Le Buque are part of the Holy Kingdom of Harmonia, however, a large segment of the population has sentiments leaning towards the Grassland. This has caused a great amount of political stress within the town.

Caleria
A heavily fortified city, Caleria is an heavily trafficked trading center, thanks to its geographical position, placed at the border of Harmonia, the Dunan Republic and the Grassland. However, despite the heavy traffic and the large population of the city, most of the city's residents live in poverty. Given its location, the political situation around the area can be somewhat delicate, and the Harmonian Southern Frontier Defence Force headquarters are located in this area. Due to the large amount of traffic from many nations, it is also a place where valuable information, along with goods, may be purchased. |

Crystal Valley
Both the capital and the largest city in the Holy Kingdom of Harmonia, Crystal Valley is one of the most famous cities in the world. It is also one of the largest. It is said that even if person uses a horse-drawn wagon that it would be impossible to see all of Crystal Valley, or even make it from one end of the city to another in one day. Many of Harmonia's most important political structures can be found in Crystal Valley, such as the One Temple and the Circle Palace. It is also home to many scholarly institutions, the most famous of which being the Soldedt Academy of Military Science; however, there are other well known schools on topics as diverse as phonology and rune mastery. There are also several libraries, a valuable resource for all those who travel here for knowledge. As the city is so large, it also needs a great amount of protection. The Temple Guards, an elite group of soldiers, guard the town as best as possible.

The Tower
Home to the Howling Voice Guild of Harmonia. The Howling Voice Guild is a powerful espionage and assassination guild in the Holy Kingdom of Harmonia. They are the only people known to produce and use guns. Lead by Elder Clive, the former Guildmaster and successor of Elder Sauro as head of the guild. Guild members often have one of three important tasks entrusted to them: to gather information on targets, protect them, or assassinate them. Also known as the “the garden” to members of the guild, the Tower itself is a single, small fortress with one central tower. Within it’s confines live the entire guild, who are not permitted to leave unless on a mission. No agriculture takes place in the tower; the Howling Voice Guild is dependent on rations delivered to the tower by the temple.
