I want to install an outdoor shower at the beach house. All the plumbing is set and I have designed a walk-in maze shower out of PVC fencing with a bench and towel hooks and a shelf for organic soap and shampoo. Now, before I actually set posts for the stall area, I want to figure out what to put on the ground in the entire shower area. I was thinking of using either river rock, those 12" x 12" teak deck tiles or even a concrete pad with sea glass embedded in it or perhaps a combination of two of these applications. I realize the area has to slope away from the foundation and I am not worried about water seeping into the house because it is a very sandy area and has great drainage. I only want to do this job once and have low maintenance. What type of shower floor would be best for a New England climate? Money is not an issue. All suggestions will appreciated. Thanks. ______________ Glasgow Web Design | Website Design |
