A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...

Founded in 2010 by Phantom, Remains of the Republic has its roots in Star Wars Battlefront II (2005) for the PS2, becoming one of its most successful Europe-based clans.

In 2015-2016, we were active on the new Star Wars Battlefront (2015) game. Though just a group of friends playing for fun occasionally, we still managed to win the EU Cup in a tournament.

Every now and then we fire up our old PS2's to play SWBF2 again, all remaining players from the EU joining forces to play in friendly tournaments along with players from the United States, where there's a larger remaining user base.

These days, RoR mainly functions as a homebase where old and new players meet up to stay in touch and play Battlefront as well as other games.

Erm, well I'm not much of a sights person, but you can go and look at Big Ben, the London Eye and stuff like that. If you like football, there are plenty of grounds you could go on tours at (Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs, Wembley etc). Dunno really, I'm not good at this stuff >.<

You may give the popular/known sights a try. The ones David named are the obvious ones, but you can just buy a one-day-travel-card (7 pounds) and take use busses and the underground to get around and get a nice impression of London.

Alternatively you can purchase a boat-tour, but I don't know how expensive they are. There's also "The Shard", that new skyscraper, from which you'll certainly get a nice view on London. I think it's quite expensive though.

As boring as it sounds, some museums are quite nice too, even if you're not interested into it. Guess I don't have to name shops here, but you should definitely go to Topshop/Topman, they're amazing.

I prefer cities at night, so I doubt i can give you (as underage) decent tips in this regard. Might avoid the south and the very east, but you won't get there anyway (:D). I liked Soho and some of the trendier quarters to hang around and have a good time and enjoy a decent dinner. Camden (Market) is alright too.

If I was to recommend a pub, then it's going to be Sherlock Holmes, simply my favourite pub there. They offer a few meals as well besides drinks and beer! The pub's here: http://gyazo.com/25695fc9e94f1c315368f64a830faac3

And if you ask me, the most overrated place I've been to in London was Leicester Square, if you even count it as sight.

But yeah, I suppose to do a bit of internet research for other suggestions. Have a nice time!

Agree. If you want all kind of food, go there. You usually get bits of food for free, so it pays off.

Amusing you have so many more things to suggest than me despite me basically living there. RE your all day travel card at 7 pounds suggestion, I'm pretty sure that's not 7 pounds as it cost me £18 just the other day :P Though maybe Jackie can get a minor's, they're cheaper, depends how old you look (I think the age cut off is like 14). I probably should've mentioned something about this lol. London is all very quickly accessible by tube, you can get anywhere you want pretty fast. A place you could visit maybe is the O2 Arena (formerly the Millennium Dome. But there isn't much to do there, a few restaurants inside is as interesting as it gets I think, but it's another site to see I suppose. You could go to Kings Cross and see Platform 9 3/4 haha. Give it a Google maybe. London's a popular place, you can probably find pre-designed tour guides on there. Yeah, Harrods is the massive posh clothes shop if I'm thinking right? Been past there a few times, never actually in lol

Interesting you should suggest a pub by Charing Cross, Nemo. I went by there the other day :P

I've been to London three times, so yeah.

I should have mentioned that the "Day Travelcard" costs 7 pounds when it is off-peak, I think that's something before 10am, not sure. Afaik they apply for the tube and busses, you also get them from vendors (machines), so I don't think age matters :o. But the prize depends on the time you buy it, and furthermore the "zones" you want to visit. With zones 1+2 you pretty much cover 90% of the known attractions. If you want to see stadiums you will have to pay much more, of course.

Harrods has everything.
Also, I remember always buying a day-travelticket[Zones 1-5 I think] for 3 Pounds 40 at a ticket office in the Underground. I was able to go practically anywhere with that, by Tube and/or Bus.

As the above have said, you can go to football stadiums or see sights such as Big Ben, Downing Street, the London Eye, etc. You could just take a walk down the river, say from the Milennium Bridge up to London Bridge. The Tower of London is right next to the river, so you could potentially go from London Bridge to the Tower, or just go there directly. Ah, Madame Tussauds in Sherlock Holmes-land is also good, and I'm sure they have some kind of scary thing on at the moment, apart from their usual waxworks.

The River Cruises are very nice, there's one which I went on where we departed from the British Secret Service's base. Also, although Nemo disagrees, I do quite like Leicester Square, near to which is a random, but massive, M&M shop (personally, I don't care for it, but it smells nice). Covent Garden is similarly quite a nice place - there are many street performers (don't take too much offence if they're racist, it's usually in jest - it's been done to me before). Leicester Square also has too many cinemas, as you may know, but you could go to one of them.

One of the hidden gems is the Churchill War Museum, the actual place where Churchill was co-ordinating the British war effort. It's very nice there, and it's very educational and you can buy some books at the end.

Yeah, Oxford Street is good, but all I remember is the Waterstone's.

There are also the other museums, as Nemo mentioned, which are likewise very informative.

If you're interested in shopping, you could potentially go to Westfield's in East London, next to the Olympic Stadium, it's quite nice, or maybe I found it nice because I went there during the Olympics, when the atmosphere was nice, but, you could try it.

Other than that, I suppose if you're really bored you could take dozens of trips on the Docklands Light Railway (one of the underground lines) as it's the best of the lines, but that'd be nonsensical.
Now that you have a travelcard, you'll certainly be able to go to some of these places more easily.

Fun fact: at King's Cross, platform 9 and 10 are separated by two tracks. Rowling fucked up. She later said she was thinking of Euston! But... that is also separated by two tracks.

Ah, good suggestion, and that reminds me that there's also the London Dungeon, if you fancy being scared.

Oh yes, and that's also next to the river I think.

You could go to Buckingham Palace and get a tour, Jackie.
