| A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away... Founded in 2010 by Phantom, Remains of the Republic has its roots in Star Wars Battlefront II (2005) for the PS2, becoming one of its most successful Europe-based clans. In 2015-2016, we were active on the new Star Wars Battlefront (2015) game. Though just a group of friends playing for fun occasionally, we still managed to win the EU Cup in a tournament. Every now and then we fire up our old PS2's to play SWBF2 again, all remaining players from the EU joining forces to play in friendly tournaments along with players from the United States, where there's a larger remaining user base. These days, RoR mainly functions as a homebase where old and new players meet up to stay in touch and play Battlefront as well as other games. |

Apparently there has been a leak. This is a list of information. Also this, it is sadly only in German though. |

DICE have no doubt made a fair amount of money from the Battlefield Premium service so I expect that to return. With the packages you can get, it is essentially pay-to-win, or at least pay-to-get-an-advantage. That's the way these games have gone now as people will always pay to get an advantage in their favourite games. Other things raised in these articles: - Some sort of "hero" system is likely to return - Space-to-land in some game modes - 64 player battles in some game modes - Campaign will be a lot more extensive than games like Advanced Warfare I'd take this leak with a big pinch of salt, though. All of these details are fairly obvious, really. We'll find out more when EA make their announcement in a few months and then E3. |

When zooming in SWB2 you were still able to see your own character. That's something different to what aiming through ironsight is. |
