[1.1] Hey all, I'm dj dude36, the sig maker here at Reborn Falre and this is my guide to 99 fletching. All prices and calculations were taken from the 12th october, so make sure you check! [1.2] Useful Items/skills Items: 1.MONEY This will enable you to buy any and everything you need to make 1-99 as fast a possible. 2. A knife (possibly from stealing creation if you have the time). This means you can cut the logs X D. Stealing creation (or sc) knives gives 2x exp, but run out, so depends if you have the time. Skills: 1.Woodcutting. Means you can cut the logs and save some cash. 1.1. Agility for running the logs back and forth. 2.Magic. Teleporting/alching the logs is useful, and if they don't sell, faster =]. [1.3] Tips 1. If your going to do 99, be committed! It's ok to take breaks, but keep your eyes on the prize. 2. Set lower goals than 99. It might be a fast skill, but it'll seem like forever, try aiming for the next level or set on the ladder in the guide =]. 3. Listen to music. It means you can just pass the time. 3.1. Or you could just talk in the clan =] [2.1] Levels 1-25 At the begining, this will be pretty easy. You just need to get your hands on normal logs and create arrow shafts, then short, then long, bows. Continue with the log bows untill you can make oak longbows. Don't string any of the bows! it's a waste of time! [2.2] Numbers and costs At this point, i recommend just choppping the logs, however, if your going to buy the logs, it'll cost you around 79 logs for level 5, being 3002 coins for level 5. From level 5 to 10, you'll need 154 logs for unstrung bows, being 5852 coins. From level 10 to 25, you'll need 669 logs, being 25422. This means that just levels 1-25 will cost you 34276 coins or 902 logs. If your looking to resell, you'll have 14259 shiny coins back in your pocket. =] [3.1] Levels 25-40 These levels will be just oak longbows (u). Hopefully they should just fly through. You can still cut and bank/drop the longbows because they're not all they're difficult to chop. [3.2] Numbers and costs If your looking to buy all of the oak logs, you'll need 32340 shiny gold coins, if your cutting the trees, you'll need 588 logs. Resell for 9408 coins. [4.1] Levels 41-55 This is gonna get pretty boring, it's not hard or long, but draining. You need to make willow longbows (u), and quite a few of em. [4.2] Numbers and costs At this point, you should start to buy the logs. It's faster but to be honest you'll need alot of money. You'll need 3119 willow logs,which will cost 24952 coins. Selling the bows will get you a big old 99808 coins. Probably your first 100k. [5.1] Levels 55-70 Well, your money is going to be ripped away with you for the next bit. You'll start making full maple bows. The experience is worth the prices though, it'll get you prepared for the flurry of bows to come. [5.2] Numbers and costs There are several diffrent options you can choose to save money here, so i'll outline this one. Option 1: BUY EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!! Logs and costs: 9789 maple logs = 274092gp (274k) Bow strings and costs: 9789 bow strings = 1840332 (1.84m) Resale value: 2574507 (2.6m) Loss/profit: 460k in the black This is the basic formule. A+B=C-D=X where A is maple logs, B is Bow strings or flax, D is cost of maple longbow and X is how much money you've got at the end =]. If you get anything yourself, substitute it for 0.This works for all bows from now on, so feel free to refer to it. [6.1] Levels 70-99 What I did All of this will be purely making Yew longbows. It's what I did and I think I mage some money =]. It'll take forever, so feel free to take breaks every 1 or 2k of yew longbows. [6.2] Numbers and costs You can do the same as what I showed in part [5.2], so i'll just put numbers of logs etc. Number of logs and bs (bow strings): 81797, Costing: Logs: 37507951 (37.5m, you won't buy 'em all in one go) Bow strings: 14805257 (14.8m you won't buy them all one go) Resale value: 54640396 (54.6m) Profit/loss: 2327188 (2.3m) Coins made =] This is all I can fit for now, so watch the next post!
