STAT ALLOCATION Pure INT : STR: enough to wear weapon + robe AGI : 5 CON: reduce to 3 (or just keep at 5) INT : MAX Pro : Best for PK, Damage Dealer, Soloing. Good MP , MP regeneration and magical attack Hightest magical defense Higher attack, higher pet heal = saves money, saves lives. Cons : Super low hp, low physical defense High chance of death INT/CON: STR: enough to wear weapon + robe AGI : 5 CON: based on preference (usually 1-2 con per level) INT : MAX Compared to FULL INT: Pro : Higher hp, better chance of surviving when attacked (by pk, boss, etc.) Cons : Much less damage (my personal preference is for full INT, as your pet will be doing all of the tanking. I dont see too many benefits pumping a lot of stat in con to sacrifice the damage. at higher level being able to use bramble array and pet efficiently will be more imperative than having just high hp. since INT wf tend to be richer we are able to compensate with other means, with phy def and hp accessories) SKILL ALLOCATION: Listed by importance: Damage 1. Envenom Parasite - starting skill, cheapest and most stable/spammable one to use 2. Ironrock Parasite - lowers phy def, helps your pet kill faster, high damage (but takes vig - in full party fighting bosses i'd prefer to use this less as it cancels out WB's skill which is 50% debuff, ours is only 30%) 3. Megalith Paraiste - has stun... need i say more? also high damage 4. Mass Parasite - aoe, works well with Parasite Nova at higher level 5. Parasite Nova - comes with seal, when using it against large number of mobs it works well with combo: (Mass Parasite, Parasite Nova, Mass Parasite) Non-Damage 1. Intersoul Switch - saves lives, have it at the most convenient spot. learn it to use it well, and use it fast. 2. Wood Element Mastery - more wood damage, kills faster, saves mp 3. Pet Heal - higher heal, saves time, saves mp 4. Bramble Guard - I place this skill at lower importance, since I expect wf to not get hit much in the first place. However! Since Bramble Array is SO important... i'd max bramble guard just to get array faster. 5. Metabolic Boost/Divine Supplement 6. Wind Walk - At level 60+ it is highly, highly recommended to have Vigour Switch and Amplify Maim maxed out for dungeon runs. - All other fox skills - for fun if you have extra funds/sp - To save mp use the following choices in order: 1. Divine Supplement 2. Intersoul Switch then Metabolic Boost to fill up hp 3. Intersoul Switch then HP pots (cheaper to fill up hp) - My combo as a FULL INT wf: Iron Rock, Envenom, Megalith, Envenom (depending and mob and personal preference) As full int wf you should be able to kill same level mobs in 3-4 hits at high levels. - INT wf are best fitted for Dark at level 89 (but also more expensive to buy skills as it is more popular) PETS Your choice of pet and skills will depend on your STATS AND PLAYING STYLE! As a FULL INT wf your primary concern is defense, since you are the DD. INT/CON can be more lenient, your pet skills should cover more damage that is missing from your CON. MUST HAVES: [Max Bash and Ripping Bite on all your pets!] Flying = Petite Sawfly (lvl8). Location: South of Bamboo Villiage. Highest Atk, PK Pet, Easy to die. This will be your permanent flying pet. [Popular skills: Decelerate] Physical = Molten Lava Golem (lvl17) = Location: West of Ground of Logging. Highest Physical Def, can tank anything and any number of them. Fiery Lava Golem is also acceptable (and it comes with free CRUST!), but Molten Lava Golem has better growth rate, so its better in the long run. [Popular skills: Crust] Magic = Baby Dodo (lvl 20) or Great Dodo (lvl80) = Rare pets. Baby has higher attack, Great has higher def. Both comes with stun and moves fast (good lurer). Great average tanker for both magic and physical. Some go for the rare frog, but its physical tank ability is too weak, many magic mob attack with physical when the pet is melee anyways. Frog is much higher magic defense, but overall the Dodos are still better. [Popular skills: Crust, Stun (comes with)] |
