As an Avatar, defend the worlds your thoughts have forged, fight alongside your own creations, and learn the truth behind the Dark Ones. Maybe it was naivete, or maybe it was something else. He wondered if Serkane would be more competent, though. "Serk? You think you can command?" "Maybe in a pinch. I'm better at fighting than being a tactician, though. " "All right then. I guess that leaves me. Tetroneaque, I'll be glad to act as your advisor so long as you weigh my suggestions carefully. I'd hate to be the one who's the downfall of our small force. " "I just want to know something. " interrupts Serkane. "Who are you and why are you helping us?" "Well, I came from..." no sound comes from his mouth as his lips continue moving. What?!? What's going on? Why can't I talk? "... nevermind. Well, the reason I'm helping you is partly out of boredom and partly because I feel like this is my calling. For some strange reason, I feel like this is the reason I'm here. It's quite weird. "

I don't want to leave any enemies behind us if we're going to continue hunting down Phantos. He's enough trouble by himself." Tetroneaque said. "And any help you can give, I'll be happy to have. Welcome aboard Forrest, and you too Serkane the Second." He added, not quite sure what to call the this Serkane. "Since you two are the only ones that can fly, until our Serkane turns up anyway, you two will be our scouts for now." He seemed to think that a good idea, despite his inexperience. He called over the captain of the twenty man squad. "Captain. Please inform your men that we are moving out for battle against a new threat. The battle field will be heavily wooded, so leave the pikes with the supplies. This will be sword work I believe. Our targets are the strange black creatures. They may or may not have anything to do with Phantos but we can't be sure." The captain nodded begrudgingly at the kitsune. "I'll work the enemy flanks once we engage them. Hopefully we can get the drop on them thanks to our two flying friends." He said. "What do you think Forrest?" He said, asking for input.

"All right. I'll take the lead. Though you may be able to fly somehow, I believe that I have better eyesight. " "Very well then. I just hope we don't get overwhelmed. We'll stay close by and signal to each other if anything goes wrong. " "How so? " "I dunno. Figure something out. " "Sounds like a plan. " Serkane says sarcastically.

Tetroneaque sprinted ahead and jumped up into the nearest tree. He moved out ahead and off to the side, planning on hitting the enemy flank by surprise once they were engaged with the human swordsmen. I hope this works... The kitsune worriedly thought to himself.
