1. We do not accept RPs based on a pre-existing canons. This means that if you own a Harry Potter, X-men, Naruto, etc. RP, don't bother applying. We want the forums here to be unique. If there are 12 different Harry Potter worlds, where's the fun in that? If the board is different enough from the source material and/or has none of the canons, we may make an exception. 2. We do not accept reality-based RPs. This is similar to the rule above. So, for instance: City RP- No. Vampire city RP- Yes. High School- No. Magical academy- Yes. Basically, if your RP is set on 21st century Earth and there isn't anything supernatural or out of the ordinary, forget about applying. We may make an exception if the forum is unique enough, though. 3. If we already have several roleplays in the genre your board is in, your chance of getting approved is reduced. So, if we already have several superhero RPs, and you submit one, you may not get in. Likewise, if we don't have a board in that genre or we have very few, you're much more likely to get in. 4. We request that since we're linking to your board, that you link back to us. You don't have to go post a huge announcement at the top of your forum in bright red, size 50 font (you can if you want, though), but simply putting our button up should suffice. 5. You don't have to have events here affect events in your RP and vice versa, but you can. 6. This must be obvious by now, but we don't accept boards that aren't roleplaying-based. So, for instance, if you own a graphics site, better go somewhere else. I don't think anyone here wants to roleplay in IFSZ world anyway. 7. We would prefer you submit a completed board. If you submit an inactive or incomplete board, you will have 2 weeks to complete it and get at least one member other than yourself. If you fail, your board shall be purged. 8. Once your submit your board, it becomes a part of the realm. You have relinquished control of it on this forum, and can only influence the path it takes as a citizen. (obviously, I'm referring to the RoC version, not the main RP forum. You still get to be admin there. ) 9. We are the judges of whether your board follows the criteria enough. While you may protest through PMs, we don't want to see whining in the request topics. Whatever you do, don't get angry and retaliate if the board isn't approved. It has absolutely no bearing on your capability on an admin, only on how well the board is suited to LoC. On a related note, I have seen forums are based on a pre-existing canon but never explicitly mentioning it. If you manage to slip such a board by us, don't get mad if we realize the truth later and purge your board. 10. Rules are subject to change and are expected to get tougher as the board becomes larger. You understand? Good. Make a topic here and use this template.
Finally, add our button.
