I'm not sure why the forum isn't displaying it, but today is my birthday. I'm 27 now. I had to work this morning, but I treated myself out to supper at Wendy's (wanted to go to Outback, but my tech doesn't have the money to afford a meal there and I can understand that). We also went down to Wrightsville Beach and had a good time. Beautiful day, but windier than hell! Saw a bunch of Sanderlings, Ruddy Turnstones, Semipalmated Sandpipers, 2 Black-bellied Plovers, Northern Gannets, Bonaparte's Gull, Ring-billed, Herring, and Great Black-backed Gulls... you get the idea. I also found a dead Common Loon. So sad. ;_; I took photos and everything. Anyways, happy birthday to myself.

I am now sixteen years old, and apart from a few spyware troubles on my computer, I've had a VERY good day. Present list: -Nintendo Wii (with Wii Sports) -Metroid Prime 3: Corruption -CD - Platinum Rock Volume 1 -NZ$500 from my grandmother, that hasn't arrived yet. Why? Someone tampered with the envelope containing the birthday card and money. And it was a kid's handwriting scrawled on the envelope. So some no-good lousy little brat has stolen MY $500 somewhere along the line! Thankfully it was insured for £100, so I'll get a total of $750 if I get my money back. Which is enough to buy a whole second Wii and still have money for games! -Unknown amount from my other grandmother and great aunt. -A can of lemonade and a pet rock (don't ask) from my friend at school. I've got a few friends coming over and the girls from next door coming up for a barbeque tomorrow, and one of them's bringing his Xbox with him, so it should be a good time.
