First, sorry if this may have already been posted somewhere, didn't see anything so figured it was worth doing. So browsing Destructoid to read some reviews for the Wii U and some of the games available for it I stumbled upon an article about something called "Harmony of a Hunter", the thumbnail looked suspiciously like the visor of Dark Samus so I figured it was worth checking out what it was about. I'm glad that I did because it lead me to this awesomeness! http://www.shinesparkers.net/harmonyofahunter/ They've previously released an album called just Harmony of a Hunter as a 25th anniversary celebration (from my understanding), and now they're releasing "101% Run" which you can download for free on there! Note that I haven't yet had time to listen to all of it, but from what I've heard so far, it's all good! I definitely consider it a worthwhile time investment, so go check it out! Now! Or I'll spoon feed you Ing soup! |

I double the incentive. By far the best Metroid Remix album I've heard to date, that amongst Relics of the Chozo. Something things to note about both the original HoaH and 101% Run. The original largely dealt with the more popular tracks, primarily from Super Metroid, such as Norfair and Brinstar. 101% Run, on the other hand, largely focuses on the more overlooked but no less impressive tracks. Also, in comparison, HoaH had some rather experimental tracks on while 101% Run follows more appropriatly to what suited the tracks (Such as Torvus having chiptunes and Dark Samus being heavy metal). What pleases me the most is the are the Fusion tracks. That game's music had a large soft spot because it was the first one that got me primarily into Metroid; and often times I would simply pause to listen to the boss tunes. My favorites are so far Gravity (Nightmare of course), Omega Fallen and Slipstream, although non-fusion wise "Beyond the Glass" was an excellent Maridia remix. |

"I believe that the human spirit is indomitable. If you endeavor to achieve, it will happen given enough resolve. It may not be immediate, and often your greater dreams is something you will not achieve within your own lifetime. The effort you put forth to anything transcends yourself, for there is no futility even in death." — Monty Oum | |

Hey there guys My name is Darren, I am the webmaster of Metroid fan website and director of Harmony of a Hunter and Harmony of a Hunter: 101% Run. I was directed here by Curon and I noticed the thread. I just wanted to say a huge thanks for the kind words, both HoaH and HoaH 101% are projects I am very proud of and I was lucky enough to work with a very talented team that made this all possible. It's great to see that what we did pleased the fans, and I hope you'll continue enjoying Harmony of a Hunter and what we are doing over at Shinesparkers ![]() Darren |

Welcome Darren! I'll definitely be keeping an eye on Shinesparkers from now on, sad I didn't find it earlier. Huge compliments for all the people involved with both releases, all of them are good and there are some real gems in there ("Bonus - Phazon Corruption" from the first release has really grown on me, I can't stop listening to it xD). I hope you stick around, but even if not it was a pleasure to meet you (so to speak)
