(OOC: The continuation of the first episode. Link: http://z8.invisionfree.com/MRPF/index.php?showtopic=1417) "Well,if you were paying attention you would know that the bounty hunter, Samus Aran, may be heading our way." Ridley answered the dark doppleganger of his most hated enemy with a spiteful tone. When Ridley entered the bridge earlier and caught sight of the being, he immediatly wanted to turn around and walk away. He still remembers the time when Dark Samus, also known as Metroid Prime, corrupted him and his fellow pirates. He hated the fact that he was taking orders from a being that resembles his enemy. He couldn't do anything at all to resist it, but to only bow to it's will. And the phazon enhancements didn't help at all when he faced off with Samus, who was slowly succumbing to the corruption. He was almost completely eradicated when she defeated him. It took forever to come back, phazon free. Powerful or not, he now officially despises anything phazon. Ridley wanted to ignore Dark Samus' presence throughout the meeting, but he finds that it is futile to delay the inevitable that he has to realize it is in the room. "Now now, no need to be rude Ridley. She was only asking who we were referring to." Vaati responded to Ridley's small outburst. It was noticable that Ridley had a grudge on Dark Samus. It would be completely weird if he had a crush on it, and wrong. "First of all, Dark Samus is an it, not a her. Second, I have very good reasons wh I should despise it. Very good." "Do we care about your tragic history with her? I think not. I believe your way of establishing relationships is quite the opposite of what most have in mind." Vaati insulted him. "You sick wicked repulsive little brat!" At that moment, Ridley felt like gnawing off Vaati's smug little face off. He was pushing his limits. "Now calm down. We're not here to fight eachother. Let's focus at the task at hand." Eggman broke up the two with mechanical cranes attatched to the ceiling. Suddenly, a large plant with spotted boxers entered the room. "Ah Petey, good timing. Place the prisoner in that holding cell over there." Eggman pointed to a cage located on the wall. Petey Pirhana walked over to it, open the cage, and inhaled deeply, before spitting out a young woman with blonde hair and a pink dress. Her crown rolled on the ground and her dress was all soggy. Petey closed the cage and wiped off the chocolate-like saliva off his face. The princess was out cold at the moment. Vaati approached the cage and looked down at her. "The princess of the Mushroom Kingdom?" "Yes, Petey brought her in from the stadium. She'll make a good hostage when things get a little rough." Eggman explained to the young wind sorceror. "Ah, our very own shield. Brilliant thinking doctor." He praised the egg-shaped man. "Oh and Dark Samus, please don't corrupt any prisoners unless on our say. We want to keep them fresh. Now then, i-" "Dr. Eggman, we have just discovered a new area. Shall we set course?" A robot navigator interrupted Eggman before he could continue. "Oh really? Do we know anyone from this new area?" The doctor's attention temporarily averted from the conversation and to this discovery of an unheard area. "No sir. This area is actually uncharted. It's small, but it's covered with a dimensional paradox. We couldn't detect this until we entered the Hyrule space." "Dimensional paradox?" Ridley questioned the mechanaloid. "It's basically an area shielded with an abnormal energy field that makes it difficult for our equipment to detect it until we are close enough to it's coordinates. When we enter a dimensional paradox, it could alter our shapes or our sizes." Eggman explained to the dragon. "Ah, intersting." Ridley mused. "Hehehe, I'm already curious what this new area is. Set course for it on the double! Oh, and since were passing by Hyrule, let's give them a present if you know what I mean." The doctor ordered his navigator with such charisma. "Yes doctor. Oh, and you have a call from Copy X. Something important." "Alright, put him through." Eggman turned to the group momentariliy, "Excuse me." Then turned back around to face the screen. An image appears, presenting the blue clad reploid, Copy X. "What is it?" Eggman questioned him. =========== The Halberd's speed suddenly began to increase, making it difficult for Samus to keep up. "Damn, they're getting away. Ichigo, hold on to something quickly! I'm going to turn on the boosters now." And with that, Samus pulled a lever and the ship's main thruster was soon spitting fire, making her ship move faster than it was before. It was enough to keep up with the Halberd's increasing velocity. Down below them was Hyrule, and a fight was about to start. A battle of legendary proportions between two legendary figures. The hero clad in green, Link, versus the great king of evil, Ganondorf. And watching them outside a magical barrier that Ganondorf created to stop interferance, was the guardian of Skyworld, Pit; the legendary plumber of a thousand skills, Mario; and the blue dude with the tude, Sonic the Hedgehog. Due to Ganondorf's energy field, they couldn't help the Link in his battle to come. But that battle may be put on hold. Sonic looked up into the sky and saw something cruising above them. "Hey look at that!" He pointed at the large battleship that is completely out of place, minus themselves, to Hyrule. Hyrule doesn't have technology that advanced. Mario recognized the battleship though, as it was the same one that attacked him and many others at the stadium. Mario immediatly got into a fighting position. "Be a ready, that thing attacked a me and my friends earlier!" Sonic grinned when Mario said that. "Well, in that case, let's get ready to party!" He got into a fighting position too. As the Halberd flew over them, it opened it's cargo bay and began releasing the black spores upon Hyrule. The spores even landed inside Ganondorf's energy field, as if ignored. And just like what happened in the stadium, the black spores merged together to form a creature of unknown origin. The creature known as Primids. When the Primids formed, they drew out two types of weapons: The super scope and the beam sword. There were 30 Primids, 15 had super scopes and 15 had beam swords. Sonic grinned at the new challenge. "Now this is what I call the welcome commitee." And with that, Sonic made the first move by spin dashing into a row of primids, sending them into the air. Mario lept into action without a moment to lose, he grabbed one of the primids before it fired at him and threw it at the ones in mid-air, knocking some into the canyon where Nightmare fell. The Primids began to attack, both the heroes and the villian. Little did they know though, that another ship departed from the Halberd and was flying straight at Hyrule Castle. =========== "What in the..." Samus quietly said as she saw black spores descending from the Halberd and unto the land below, unaware that some of the spores got on her ship. The ships alarm began humming. "Warning: Unknown Bio-Forms Attacking The SHip." "What!?" Samus looked at her radar to detect the enemies but there was nothing there. Her radar couldn't detect the threat that was attacking her. Suddenly, one of the ships went out, and Samus was losing control. "Ichigo! Brace yourself, we're going to make a crash landing!" Samus was doing her best to not dive into the ground face flat, knowing it would be the end of them. She managed to get the ship in a safe position and her ship scraped the ground of the lush green fields. Her ship stopped right next to a large stone bridge, and on the other side, a fight was going on. ============ Not so far from Mt. Quena, a ship followed by three different colored saucers was flying towards it. The ship was the S.S. Dolphin, piloted by the valiant Captain Olimar of Hocotate Freight. To our eyes, in the real world, Olimar would be the size of a quarter. Our planet's atmosphere is also toxic to the his kind. Olimar crashed into a world similiar to ours one time, and there he met a group of aliens he called Pikmin. The Pikmin varied from color to color, and each had different abilities. Without the help of the Pikmin, he would have not escaped from the unknown world. When he returned to Hocotate, he discovered the company he works for was under bankruptcy. He journeyed back to the distant planet to salvage treasure he found there. Again, with the help of the Pikmin, he was able to salvage enough treasure to save his company. Olimar even encountered two new types of Pikmin, that now reside in his ship due to the lack of an Onion. The Onion is the ship the Pikmin use to travel in. Olimar still salvages treasure from the world and still use the Pikmin to help him. Everything about the world never ceases to amaze him. Little did he know he was part of something much bigger. Olimar regained his ship, the Dolphin, after he managed to repay the company's debt. During one of his salvages, he discovered there was an area he has not explored yet, which was the mountain off in the distance. The danger he will face is unknown, but as long as the Pikmin are willing to help him, he can overcome possibly any trial. He and the Onions we're closing in on the mountain. It was a matter of time before they arrived. That is, until something unexpected happened. Olimar's ship's radar had detected a large vessel in the area. When Olimar looked to the side, his eyes nearly popped out of his sockets when he caught sight of an impossibly large ship. The ship zoomed by his ship with unimaginable speed, the rate it was going sent Olimar and the Onions spin out of control. The Onions began spitting seeds which scattered all over the place, some landed on Olimar's ship. Olmiar couldn't regain control of his ship and was set on a collision course for the mountain. Olimar whited out before anything else happened. ========= Zelda sat on the grass near the lake's edge. She gazed at the water as it's crystal clear liquid reflected her image. She looked to the sky and saw a flock of Butterfree flutter across the lake, followed by a group of Ledian and Yanma. This mountain was filled with life and so much peace. Zelda wished Hyrule was like this. Everyday, she has to worry about corruption in her government, moblin attacks, and the threat of an evil kind rising from the grave. And now a new threat of strange creatures. She just hopes her kingdom is safe. The silence soon broke when a thunderous roar echoed throughout the valley. The roar was not the sound of a beast, but that of a machine. The sound was very familiar, almost as if they all have heard it before. Zelda got up and looked far off into the distance. Beyond the walls of the mountain was what seems to be a... purple dorsal fin? No, it wasn't a fin, it's a wing of a ship. Bat-like wings, similiar to the airship that attacked the stadium. It WAS the same battleship that attacked them, no doubt about it. From what they can tell from the wing, the ship was moving at a fast pace, as if it was in a hurry to get somewhere. Then suddenly, the wing vanished, as did the roar of the engines. It was rather peculiar. It was almost as if it had disappeared into thin air. It was impossible for something that large to accomplish a feat like that. Then, something else cam into view. A small one man ship was set on a collision course towards the mountain. They watched the small craft crash into the forest, not far from them nor the area Falcon was working at. Zelda looked at the others with her. "Let's go. The pilot may be hurt." The hylian princess then ran off into the forest to go check up on the mystery shuttle. Little did they know that deep inside the lake, a slumbering beast was beginning to stir. (OOC: REALLY long post. Sorry if too many things are happening all at once.) |

(First Part of a joint post between me an KH. Darth, this is for you. :p) On the other side of the message was a particular blue reploid, thought destroyed once and for all; unfortunately, it had been brought back to the world like so many other things, by the Ancient Minister. "Eggman," Copy X said, "my reploids just dragged in a group of imbeciles, from a ridiculous looking submarine that surfaced on the island. They haven't said much... not much that is worth listening to, anyway. The talking cat Will. Not. Shut. Up." "Talking cat? Imbeciles? Put them on screen." "Very well." Copy X turned away from the screen and toward his reploid minions. "You, bring them here. Keep them secured. If there is any sign of resistance... subdue them." The robotic minions nodded and lifted the three forward, setting them down in front of the console. "Hmm...." Eggman began typing things into his console, looking up something. "Hmm.... Ah, here we are." He turned to the screen. "They are Jessie, James, and Meowth. They come from the realm of creatures known as Poke'mon. They too are villians, to say the least." "Meowth?" X remarked. "How cliché... Regardless, I suppose they could prove useful... given the right scenario." "Indeed. If given the right motivation. Now listen hear you three. You may get a chance to live if you help us with our little crusade. If you refuse, Copy X will either blast you to Kingdom Come or make you swim with the fishes." Copy X cackled softly at the mention of violence, then remained silent. "If you do join though," Eggman stated,"you will be given a wish by the Minister once this is all over. His power surpasses no other being that I have yet seen. He is also the one who brought Copy X back, but with my help of course. If you have something you desire, it will be done." |

((OOC: Really short, but enough to get something going...)) Jessie had managed to nurse most of her wounds, as well as Pikachu’s, when she noticed several streaks racing across the sky and falling in their vicinity. Falcon looked up as the sounds of a giant airship faded into the distance, his eyes trailing the noise until it was behind the mountains. “Was that the Halberd?” he asked, staring into the sky for several minutes before going back to work. “I think so…” his sis replied, standing up to test her leg. “Wait… what’s…” She spied a small ship heading towards the mountain, only to hear a rumble as a cloud of dust was the only evidence of a collision. “Pika…” Pikachu whispered, hearing the bug Pokemon on the other side begin to buzz in an agitated manner. “Pika-chu-cha? Pika-pika…” “Hmm?” Jessie looked at the mountain. “We should see if whoever’s on the ship survived.” She took on step forward, only to collapse. Pikachu ran over, concerned. “Pika!” “Don’t worry,” she assured. “It’s nothing big. You go with Zelda to see what’s going on, ok? I’ll stay with bro and help him with whatever he needs.” “More like you need rest, Jess,” Falcon laughed from above. “Besides, I can do the rest myself. No need to climb up when you have your wings to worry about too. Zero, why don't you got with those two. I've got the base covered for now. Azazel will be helping with security.” The lieutenant huffed and sat at the ramp as Pikachu looked at Zelda. “Pika-cha?” she asked, pressing her hear against the ground then sniffing around before making a path towards the crash site. |

"Zero, why don't you go with those two? I've got the base covered for now. Azazel will be helping with security.” "Very well," the reploid said, refitting his helmet onto his head. "Pikachu, Zelda, let's head out. There may have been survivors. If not, they still deserve proper respects." "If you need anything, now would be the time to get it, before we leave," he said. "although I doubt that would be the case for Pikachu." He smiled lightly at the little yellow poke'mon. Zero then looked at Zelda. "So, do you need anything, Princess?" -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Pit stared at the skies as the Halberd soared over them. The giant metal craft, sheathed in its characteristic red mist, cast a huge shadow over the angel boy and the others. Suddenly, a thick metal hatch on the stomach of the beastly ship flew open, releasing thousands of black spores, merging together on the ground into a squadron shadowy soldiers, with dark intentions to match. Pit quickly pulled out his bow and released bundles of glowing arrows at the creatures. A series of shots whizzed by him, from the Super Scopes fifteen of the primids had. "What are these things?!" Pit screamed, fighting off one of the Beam Sword soldiers. Edited by Fatalis Maximus, Jan 21 2008, 09:53 PM.

(OOC: Waugh! I really can’t say how sorry I am for not holding my end of the RP up )Link wiped the spittle off his face from Gannon yelling at him as his blue eyes burned with determination to defeat the man. No, he wasn’t a man, perhaps once, but not anymore, he was subhuman, far below someone deserving of a second chance. Was it second though? Although this was only the second time he’d fought Gannon, saying second time didn’t feel right… Now wasn’t the time for reflection, it was a time for action. Once Gannon was defeated, could Link turn his thoughts inward. The Hyrulian gripped his sword and shield until his knuckles were white. He could feel an anger rising up in him, far more than anything he had ever felt before. He was being mocked as a failure, for not following through in his actions. No matter, Link would make sure Gannon could never set foot on any mortal ground again. He began a series of slashes and cuts, they were powerful, but careless and left him open for counterattack, but Link didn’t care, he wanted Gannon gone. His flurry of blows were soon followed by him yelling his frustration. ~ Afree gave a startled cry as the icy spear hit the floor, shooting jagged fragments into her precious new pipe organ!…!!! Oh, and her cheek was cut by one too….apparently. The elf felt the enormous thump of the ice warrior hit the floor level with her. She shrieked and clambered on top of the organ. Causing more noise as she stepped on the keys. Then, before she let it get any closer, she set an fire arrow to her bowstring (when did she pull out her bow?) and let it fly toward the beast of cold. It hit it in the shoulder, causing an earth-rumbling explosion and more fragments to rain everywhere. Afree was really hoping to melt it, but fire arrows provided more of a sudden, intense heat rather than the gradual kind that was needed to combat ice. She was a thief, not a scientist! The creature got closer, so Afree switched to Plan B. She leaped up onto its shoulders and attacked it in the manner she usually attacked cold things. Unfortunately, that didn’t work out well either. “Helf!” she cried out, her tongue on the top of the warrior’s head. “Helf! I’m thuck!” Why? Why couldn’t evil guys deploy ice cream golems instead? |

The shadowed form of Dark Samus seemed to suddenly be intensely focused upon an image on the Halberd's radar displaying the location of Samus Aran's gunship. She listened only passively to the conversation continuing inbetween the other parties of the cabal, ignoring Ridley's petty attempt to insult her as she floated in the air. Her gaze almost mechanically followed the dot representing Aran's vessel, slowing and finally holding her head still as the dot began to slow, then stop. An armored hand clenched into a fist. (So close... the destroyer of my beloved Phaaze is so near I can almost taste her blood. ) She thought to herself. If Dark Samus had eyes, they would be narrowed from her venomous desire for revenge. But, she remembered, that accursed little boy would likely not take kindly if she acted brashly and left the Halberd on the offensive. It would be painful, but the dark huntress had no choice but to bide her time and wait. Yes.... wait. She would get her chance. Certainly, with a quarter of the Halberd's crew under her dominion (and if she pulled it off correctly, many more would join them), could destroy this dangerous adversary... but still, she also remembered that Aran held that same potential danger to her existence. Saying nothing, Dark Samus floated away from the radar screen and above her allies, crossing arm and cannon over her chest as she watch the incoming caller's visage appear on the screen. =========== "Damn, they're getting away. Ichigo, hold on to something quickly! I'm going to turn on the boosters now." "Hey, wait a second, you just told me to get ready and now you want me twoahhhhhhh!" Ichigo suddenly let out with a shout, his face a mix of shock and anger as he scrambled to grab onto a nearby handle and leaned against ship wall for support, barely avoiding being tossed forward as the ship suddenly accelerated rapidly, the roar of the engines nearly making it impossible to hear what was going on in the world below. (Is she CRAZY!? The could have sent me flying just now! But still, looking outside… I wonder where we’ve followed the Halberd to…? It looks almost like we’re above a large field or something.) The shinigami thought to himself, breathing a small sigh of relief at seeing he was somewhat secure… for now, anyway. Ichigo then tried to get the best glances he could of the land the Halberd now hovered above, attempting to best assess it. Squinting through the huge earthy blurs, Ichigo could see that the land appeared to be somewhere in the middle of a large plain, with hills, forests and mountains being spotted here and there. It looked like Earth to him, but he had never seen any of these places before; one mountain in the distance was certainly huge enough to be noted in a geography textbook. So… where were they? "What in the..." Samus suddenly whisped in alarm as a black cloud of what looked like flying black smoke departed the Halberd and spread across the area, some heading towards her gunship. Ichigo suddenly heard some sort of tapping sound over the engines. The alarm systems suddenly blared to life. "Warning: Unknown Bio-Forms Attacking The Ship." “What the hell…?” Ichigo mumbled, before a violent rattling and sudden tilt of the gunship’s flightpath nearly jolted him loose from his grip on the handlebar. He noticed that the hum of one of the ship’s engines was dying and soon faded completely as the vessel accelerated to the ground. "What!?" Samus shrieked, the shinigami noting the surprise and frustration in the huntress’ voice. If this ship was this high tech and Samus seemed so distressed, this was definitely bad… "Ichigo! Brace yourself, we're going to make a crash landing!" The huntress shouted as she wrestled with the controls, directing the ship to an open spot on the field, the form of a bridge nearby. Ichigo gulped and held on tight as the ship plunged into the grassy field, the interior darkening from the force of the impact as his teeth vibrated in his skull. After the ship finally came to a halt, Ichigo breathed a sigh of relief and worked his way over to what he figured was a switch to an exit hatch on the top of the vessel, pressing it to open the way out with a hissing sound of air pressure adjustment. (Time to fight...) He thought as he gripped Zangetsu in hand and leapt out of the gunship, the hiltwrap uncoiling and somehow shortening itself as if by its own will as the shinigami drew it out, looking to have a surprise attack on whatever saboteurs may be awaiting him and Samus outside. ((OOC: KH, please, let me know if I'm going a little too far ahead. Thank you. )) Edited by Deadly Aim, Jan 22 2008, 06:52 PM.

OOC: Hilarious post B xD Ganondorf looked up as the gigantic ship flew over the Hyrule fields, what the hell was that? He had never seen anything like it, it was like a gigantic bird of steel. He turned his attention back to his adversary however when he heard his footsteps as Link rushed at him, being swift to raise his own sword he made sure to block the reckless attacks his enemy threw at him, sure they were powerfull, but Ganondorf was physically stronger than Link, and as such it was not hard for him to block the attacks, no Link needed to fight swiftly or with skill to get past Ganondorfs defense. A slight smirk spread on Ganondorfs face as Link paused in his attacking to let out a frustrated yell. "You were never strong to begin with, I underestimated you last time, that is all." Ganondorf said mockingly to Link, however at this time he noticed the strange shadowy things falling to the ground and then just a moment later melding togheter into some weird looking creatures, some were even inside HIS barrier! Luckily the barrier was not very big, only a few meters from one side to the other, so there wasnt a lot of them inside, and because of that Ganondorf raised his sword and spun around, hitting one of the primids into the barrier with his left fist, then slashing two others with his sword in one quick swipe, there were more, but they were closer to Link than they were him. "Do you want to fight, or deal with them?" He asked Link as he gestured with his left arm to the Primids that was getting ready to use some weird contraptions. --- The Ice Warrior was not very surprised its ice spear had missed, in fact it had been expected, otherwise it wouldent have jumped down after it, even the fire arrow was somewhat expected, but it did not do much more than blow off a portion of its chest, which quickly regenerated, what it did NOT expect however, were a direct assault at its head, with the elfs tounge. "Helf! I’m thuck!” It took a bit for the ice warrior to recover, and as it did it swung the ice spear towards the elf, however out of sheer dumb luck, or skill, the ice spear missed by a millimeter and then crashed straight into the ice giants upper torso, breaking the head off and making it fall into a pile of ice shards. |

(OOC: Advancing the story a bit. DARTH POST ALREADY!!!!!!) Those fools... I can't believe what I am seeing. The doctor didn't realise I could easily tap into their surveillance system. Watching him recruit those... fools is just sickening. I must do something about this... my power level has almost reached it's original designation. Now.... do I have enough strength to free myself? ---------------------------- A pirate and a primid were patrolling the storage area of the Halberd. As they were walking around, they heard a noise coming from a sealed capsule. The pirate looked at the primid. "Go check it out." He ordered the primid, giving himself some time to arm himself. The primid walked over to the capsule, but just before he even reaced a foot closer to it, the capsule exploded with energy. The primid was forced back into the wall and looked up. The primid saw a metalic figure in the smoke that expelled from the capsule. It couldn't tell what, but it was looking right at him. Before the primid could get up, a metallic claw went right through it's face, causing it to turn dissolve into spores. The pirate panicked and began firing at the metallic monster. The shots hit it, but it looked like there was no effect. The pirate was about to call for help, when suddenly a large crate fell on him, crushing the pirate. On top of the crate was the metallic being, grasping on the box's edges. "Oh yes indeed...." The being stood up tall. It's body resembling that of a hedgehog, yet warped. It had a cape coming from it's waste, the spikes on it's head had white linings all over it, the sharp metallic nose looks as if it could pierce right through wood, and the dark visor right above it now had two red eyes glowing from within. "I....... live.......once more............hmhmhmhmhmhm......hmhmhahahahaha...... this will be an amusing day......" With that, it hopped off the crate and turned on it's stealth camo, ready to haunt his creator. The monstrosity has been unleashed. Metal Sonic. (OOC: Enter central antagonist.) (OOC: sorry I'm not that good at giving intros.) The warrior sprinted down the hill trying to get within sight of what was happening. It had been several minutes since the Iron bird had flown directly over his head and towards the land of Hyrule. He had been running for several minutes but there was still no sign of the creature, but now he was hearing the sounds of battle echoing up from the other side of the hill. As he reached the top he caught had sight of what was happening, a castle surrounded by a force field in which he could just make out several figures fighting and a small group of warriors fighting a hoard of creatures unlike anything he had ever seen was taking place almost directly in front of him. Right now he was simply concerned with getting answers about what the hell was going on. A second later another skyship, far smaller than the one he had seen before dropped out of the clouds and slammed into the ground smoke rising from it’s engines. As he neared the battle several of the creatures turned and fired what appeared to be small cannons at him. Leaping over the shots Marth drew the Falchion and brought it down towards one of the creature’s head. |

Pit was fighting off several Primids as Marth came from seemingly nowhere and began cutting them down himself. Pit cheered, his blades reducing another Primid to bubbling dust. "Palutena be praised! Well met, sir," Pit called to him. "You could not have come at a better time!" As he finished, he jumped into the air, a Super Scope shot barely missing his feet. His blades clapped back together and he quickly notched another shimmering arrow into it, setting it loose into the Primid's skull. It promptly collapsed into another pile of bubbling dust. "Everyone!" Pit shouted. "We must regroup! To me, everyone!" |
