You already know that I am dying to make the Pirates a real threat again, so you can count on me to bring the greedy fellows down onto those Chozo Artifacts like a tidal wave upon an unsuspecting, ill-prepared coastal city. |

Hey, I'm totally cool with you joining Shin (On that note, there is one little point that I'd like to make sure you understand, not that it's going to keep you from joining or anything, sor don't worry). I have an idea of how I want to make my starting post, which will partially focus on Jenosa but also hopefully give everyone something to work with. I'll post it here to see if there are any problems, although I should point out school life will certainly keep me busy. |

Righto then, let's get this show on the road. This is my post for the RP, and could be considered the introductory post. It mainly focuses on 'Jenosa' or so to speak, but I believe I've put down enough detail for everyone else to work with. If there is something lacking information that'll make it difficult for one to get in, tell me and I'll what I can add in for 'ye. And without further ad, my introductory post: Dr. Alana Kensinka never felt so ecstatic in her life. Here she was, helping people as a good health care professional was, and without trying, a very plausible scientific phenomenon had fallen into her lap overnight. She'd never imagined this would happen like this, especially not when taking this uneventful position on this planet; a decision she was starting to regret as it bored her to tears. She was a doctor, yes, but at heart, she was a scientist that endeavored looking into the unknown of biology; put simply, it was a hidden passion of hers. And that passion wanted to flourish, creating a sense of fascination that collided with her spiritual respect; for although right before was an opportunity of a life time, her respect for the dead tore at her. Here, on the table before her, lay the corpse of a dead, human woman; or at least, as 'human' as she would appear. Many would not know of what appeared to be this subtle but alien physiological make-up meshed with in her body; and much evidence showed this hadn't been there before she was born. The problem was respect; she had already payed some disrespect by opening up the back of the woman's clothes to see a purple, alien growth running along the woman's spine; and she had a hard enough time doing it just to confirm her scanner wasn't buggy. What in the world happened to this woman, she didn't know, but what she did know that, despite her being a bounty hunter, she had obviously made a good couple of friends on the job she had taken and perished on. From what she heard and saw from the injured personnel - archeologist mainly - that had flooded her medical camp along with the dead woman, it had been quite the tale. It seemed several bounty hunters and mercenaries had been hired to fend off raiders that were attacking and stealing from an archeological dig site - one, that Alana heard, was a Chozo sight. Chozo - all Alana knew about them from her studies was that they were an avian race, possibly long extinct. Things had gone normally as any hunter job would have up until a ship with military firepower up in orbit had 'kindly' blackmailed the researchers to give up their artifacts; and it seemed awfully strange to her, and to quite a few others, that someone would bring such firepower just to snag a couple of artifacts. The answer to that mystery was most likely the site itself, for as it turned out, in the heat of battle, someone had discovered that site was only but a small portion of a highly advanced but aged military base - something that anyone greedy enough would try to grab at. And as it so turns out, the Federation had just come in the nick of time, saving all of the survivors, but also commandeering the planet after seeing what it was. She wondered if the poor archeologists would have a chance to go back there and work again; she understood that, like her, they had interested to learn and discover new things. She also understood, on a more deeper level, about losing someone you cared about it. Even if there wasn't any official funeral, an interesting portion of the hunters had silently mourned her passing, seeing them walk near her body in a lugubrious manner. At that time, she had wondered what it was about this the person inside the tent that affected them so, and had curiously walked inside to see who it was. She was relatively surprised to see the person in question was a woman, who had no doubt been given a fatal stab to the chest. But the wound did not get her attention unlike the spirit and atmosphere that still surrounded this dead body. Physically, she was great; there was no doubt about it that this woman was athletic and very fit, not to mention with the rest of her lithe body, fair skin, complexion and very long red hair, she was quite beautiful. Yet what caught her completely off guard was the tough yet free spirit she could make out even on the dead woman's frozen expression. She wasn't like any kind of female bounty hunter she had imagined; cold and/or hardened was the common stereo type she had thought of. This seemed almost the opposite; a woman who was not afraid to show her emotions but wasn't afraid to back down either; and it was like that spirit almost permeated the air like a ghost. In fact, there almost felt like there was a ghost... And that was one reason why she was so torn; a woman like that she would deeply respect, almost admire for who she was and for putting up with the life she lead; aside for respect those seemed to morn for her. She'd never be able to do that; what she did in her life involved scientific interests, an interests that she wanted to fulfill but was restrained by her own respect. She bit her lip as she thought over what to do, knowing this was an opportunity she'd never get again; and then she smacked herself in the face, going, “Of course.” The answer to this dilemma had been so simple, she couldn't believe she hadn't thought of it before. She turned to the dead woman and put a hand on her should; she swore it was like the air around her was...pulsing. Alive in a way; it was actually a rather eerie sensation, but that didn't keep her from saying, “Well, Jenosa Arma, if that's what I recall your name being, I know a way of finding your bodies secrets without laying a scalpel. You'll be laying safe and untouched in your tomb while I get look over the data in the weeks to come. We all win.” 4 weeks later... Alana wondered if in all of her life, she would ever get a chance to do scientific studies in piece; in a place of calm and serenity. And somehow, she thought she never would; because deep down, as she pondered about the path she was taking now, she probably never wanted a life like that. If that was the case, she thought as she walked through the alley ways of a city while holding her precious data in her hands, then why did part of that involve the one thing she never wanted to do, leaving her very shaken and with major pit in her stomach. She reasoned with herself that what she did was in self-defence, but could not ignore the fact that she had just killed somebody. An action like that went against her moral code built up as a doctor, and she had just violated it. Worse, she was feeling paranoid to a degree; being this section of the city was dangerous; she knew it, and yet she had taken the risk to what she wanted. There was no telling who mi- She yelped and whipped around when she felt a hand on her back, gasping when the hand with her gun was easily held up in the air, pointing away from her assailant. Her heart raced several fold before a familiar voice spoke, “Frick, remind me never to tap you on the shoulder next.” There was no mistaken the voice, the face, and the greens eyes that flared an alien blue amidst the shadow ally. Alana tensed body relaxed knowing that she was definitely looking at the bounty hunter Jenosa Arma, in the flesh, and alive and breathing. |

Well yeah, that was my concern. I'm pretty sure we can always add in the settings as to where Jenosa will be, and perhaps Z'Gato could bump into her or something |

O.o A great deal of apologies to you Jedi, it's just that me and Boss were getting rather impatient with the speed, and it seemed very obvious as to what was going to happen in the end. Is there any specific problems about what we've set up here that might affect AC itself? |
