Wonderful and glorious news! Seriously. I have just received, in today's mail, notification that I have been accepted into RIT (Rochester Institute of Technology). Which means that, in September, I shall be heading to Rochester, New York, to study video game design and development. Yes, seriously. I am going to college to make video games. Anyways, I'm just really happy at the moment, as that was my top choice of college. Oh, and I just finished uploading all my pictures to my computer, so I'll post some of them A.S.A.P. At least, if I'm not too lazy... |

Well, if you're gonna do that, you'd better make some awesome games. WOOTFLAKES! Just finished the second of the two campaigns. |

Aw man, you've totally gotta make a reference to RE somewhere in your first game. What exactly do you plan on majoring in? |

Blizzard (Yes, the company Blizzard) has made me a really happy man today. Why? You ask. Because they recently released a new Starcraft patch. Normally I'm not that crazy about patches, but thanks to Starcraft.org for notifying me, this patch allows you play the games without the CD! Alls one has to do is download the patch and follow THESE Instructions (Warning: Instructions will dissapear from front page over time). Yes folks, that's right, to quote Ktan, Starcraft is "Now with 100% less CD." The best part of it is, it's much better without the CD. On my new computer, it takes quite some time to load the game, but with the CD gone, the whole thing works instantaneously. Weeeeeeeee! |

Sheik is Zelda, as Pieboy said. I'm not a big fan of Sheik in the Super Smash games. She was the easiest character to play as, and theoretically the "best" because of her speed and power combination. I'm bias against Sheik, if mainly for the fact that most newbies play as her because she's easy and powerful. Anyway, the Zelda in Brawl is supposed to be the Twilight Princess version. Don't get me wrong, but I don't think that Sheik is in Twilight Princess. |

Tvae!! Congratulations!! That is absolutely fantastic news! My brother, Jake, is currently a freshman at RIT. If you want I can ask him if it's alright for me to give you his AIM name and stuff for any advice you might need? It's a great school, and Jake's loving it there. I'm sure you will too! Wow, congrats again, that's a tremendous achievement. |

No, Shiek was nowhere to be found in Twilight Princess, but the notes do say that the model was created during the development of the game. At least it wasn't wasted, that for sure. Modeling and rigging something like that takes a lot of time and money... X_x By the way, congrats, Tvae! Hopefully, I can be done with college soon with a major of some sort and then apply to Digipen in Washington state... Very nice place to go for game designers also ![]() And to post a w00t, finally got my first somewhat completed image done on a tablet! Took a while, but hopefully, it'll just be second nature by the time I'm through with a few other warmups. |

Thanks to everyone for the congratulations. The major is Science in Game Design & Development. Or something like that. Anyways, yeah, I'm pretty hyped about the whole thing. Oh, also, a few pictures of Nihon (Japan) as promised. Taken at Nikko, very famous tourist spot with lots of temples and gardens and such constructed by past Buddhist priests and Emporers and the likes. Entrance Stone Very... Large... Temple Random Archway MONKEYS!!! (Kind of...) Garden... So Pretty... On the second picture, and in a lot of other pictures (which I didn't post yet), I show the outside of buildings, yet not the inside. This was due to the fact that in 90% of the buildings there pictures weren't allowed. Shame, really, as the insides tended to be the much fancier part... |

Well, Knight Rider news: As you may or may not have seen by now, I recently posted a link to YouTube with a video of NBC's teaser broadcast. That's all fine and dandy, not to mention there's two versions of that teaser, and a two minute trailer out there as well. Come to find out, after further research into this, there are TWO Knight Rider projects in the works. Confusing? Perhaps. Here's the gist of it: Universal owns the Television Rights to Knight Rider. Glen A. Larson (Original Creator/Writer) owns the Filming Rights to Knight Rider. Sources have it that Glen A. Larson has been working on a script for a theatrical release of his vision of Knight Rider. A complete re-creation of the concept and story. He has been working with The Weinstein Company long before Universal decided to green light their own project. What we're about to see on TV this February is NOT Glen Larson's vision, but rather Universal's interpretation of his creation. While Mr. Larson was working on his project, with the script's working cover complete, Universal went ahead with their back-door pilot and completed it. It's ready to air. So, now there's a drag race down the highway between Mr. Larson's vision, and Universal's interpretation. Who will win? Either way, I win. Why? Because with two Knight Rider projects, chances are that at least one will succeed. And, I am a knerd. |
