Double post, whatever.

I just got a letter in the mail. You know what it was?

Yeah. That's right, I just got my acceptance letter to ATU.

Whoa

I just finished watching MACROSS: DO YOU REMEMBER LOVE? (the Movie). I haven't seen a movie that well done in a long time. Definately satisfied my "itch" for the week.

As some of you might know, I enjoy playing an awesome DOS shmup game called Tyrian 2000. I often play this sucker because of the difficulty setting, and other customizable stuff.

However, one of the troubles that I've had with this game ever since i got was the sound. There was absoletely no sound at all, and this left me puzzled (Just so you know, Tyrian 2000 is operated by an emulator called DOSBox).

Anyway, I decided to try and fix that problem. I went onto one of the top Tyrian fansites, looked up about the sound problem, and after some good trouble shooting, low and behold, I have sound, both music and sound-effect wise. Weeee.

Now i get to play T2K in style.

Retro games are awesome, CEMP. I still run Duke Nukem 3D on my comp, without the high-res pack. I still play Genesis/Mega Drive and SNES games on an emulator

Anyways... small w00t for me. My shaman dinged 50 yesterday. Eight more levels and I can finally get out of the steaming pile of boredom that is vanilla WoW.

I have a 70 Druid in Retail WoW, with a 52 Priest alt... Right now I'm playing on free servers to satisfy the crave without the dent in my pocket (until Wrath of the Lich King comes out).

Okay, major woots here.

1. I HAVE DSL. That's right, I am finally finished with the boring Dialup life. Now going on the computer isn't like driving a Camero in the slow lane anymore!

2. I got an awesome new cell phone. Dad bought me a Motorola KRZR. The ironic thing is that I've always disliked the new phones, but I fell in love with this one (it comes with Bluetooth!!).

3. Got a 15 cent raise at Wendy's. It's not much, but hey, it's a raise!

Hmmm, it would appear Fat had post glitch here.

In anycase, yes, go go Retro. I've enjoyed my fair share of using emulators, although with my current computer, I only use DOSBox and T2K.

I have a little about T2K as well. I just got down with Episode 4, and after beating the level NOSEDRIP, I come across a new mini game called Zinglong's Revenge. Yes, let me tell you T2K packs a tone other goodies in it, including neat mini games when you beat certain episodes. Zinglong's Revenge is a hidden mini game that i actually got while playing the hardest difficulty setting, Lord of the Game..

I have yet to fully sink my teeth into this particular mini game, but it's already very good, and one of the best mini games in T2K that I've played so far. It's also bloody tough.

Ahhh, one of the many things that I love about T2K.

Sports-related woot here, so y'all can just tune out now.

Spurs just took down the Phoenix Suns in the first round of the playoffs. Stuffed those desert softies in 5 (best of 7) games! That's two years in a row! And, unlike last year, all those whiny-ass Suns fans can't make any excuses about suspensions or getting robbed by the refs or anything. Face it, Phoenix. Timmy D and the Spurs own you guys, always have owned you guys, and always will own you guys until the day Duncan retires.

It just goes to show you, it doesn't matter if you score 100 points if you're giving up 110. Or, for a more familiar analogy around here, it don't matter if you're score 50 kills if you can't stop getting killed yourself. You gotta play some D.

Sorry Shaq... no fifth ring for you. Not this year. God, it's gotta be killing you to see Kobe and the Lakers advance, don't it?

One free interweb to the person who can guess what that is!! ^_^
