So, I lost my USB stick a while ago (It's around 515 MB), and did everything I could get to find, but to no avail. So, after exhausting every other option, I asked my mom to buy another one, telling her that the least expensive one is about twenty bucks or under. It's not like word Files take up that much space.

Guess what she ends up getting me?

A 4 Gig USB stick, which is about the same as my iPod nano. My jaw dropped when i saw it, and although i told her she could have gotten a much less expensive, she told that it was on sale; she also thought that I'd eventually get so much stuff in future a lot of memory will be useful.

I can blissfully say that I love this little thing. I upload so much more data, and it comes pre-packed with an XFire, not that I'll be using it much at school. But for the hell of it, I loaded the full version of Tyrian 2000 (A la zip file) along with DOSBox, an emulator required to play it on Windows.

And now I'm wondering whether i should have the installation program of Continuum uploaded.

well, it turns out that I don't have to retake my ACT. I just found out that my old test scores were definately good enough, and I had my transcript sent to ATU. So in a couple weeks, I'll probably be posting something along the lines of "HOLY KERSCHNARFLENBOOF! I GOT IN!"

Um.

Congraturation, I guess. Have fun being an uncle again.

Silly little w00t, but I did a random Google search on my name last night and found that someone I've never met quoted something I said in his signature. Pity that something had to be "It's better to have loved and lost then to have held on and worked up an eight-to-twelve hundred body count"...

I just made this post with my Wii. Also, I managed to find my copy of Metroid: Zero Mission. Damn thing was hiding in my closet, just barely covered up. Oh, and my friend Brent is going to introduce me to some of his frat brothers (this is the same frat I'm gonna join, but not the same chapter) this Thursday. This will be the first time I'll have seen him in almost two years.

Ok, so I've got a thing of pure awesome.

My laptop has been no end of trouble and frustration. It turned out to be a crap monster instead of a lap monster. But the thing is, since laptops are experimental this year in school, they're not replacing anything for anyone other then special needs students.

Well, as some of us know, I've got a bajillion illnesses that make me about 67 on your average day. So, since the school has my health records, I'm considered a special needs student. The average kids can go buy their own crap, if you don't help the special needs student you can get twenty lawyers knocking on your door by noon.

So, they're replacing my laptop.

Like, entirely, everything, new.

Whoo!

*dances around like an idiot*

Oh, and I got a 36 our of 40 on my algebra test. Totally different from my normal 20 our of 40 scores.

Sooooooooo....

While all you folks were distracted in getting SSBB, and are now distracted with it as well, I took the opportunistic time to wait for the game that I was anticipating. Note that I have nothing against SSBB in anyway, and i think it rocks (I've played a couple of rounds with my anime groupies). However, knowing that there was a chance it could slip into the shadows far sooner than SSBB, and it had already been frustratingly difficult to find around it's release (Which is near the same date as SSBB), I knew i had to get. And thankfully, and ironically, Future Shop was the first store in stock (Where EB Games and Game Buzz have failed me).

I have it:

IHAVEITHAVITHAVITEIHAVEIT!!!!! YESSSSSS!!!

Some of you probably think I'm insane having used my money on this over SSBB, but like i said before, I was afraid it wouldn't last for long. If you guys haven't guessed it by now, I'm shmuppet fan (Short for shoot 'em ups), and with me feeling this game would far surpass it's prequel, I had all the incentive to get it; all before it disappeared.

And i can proudly say that German game developer Shin'en has not failed me. Everything that has afflicted the first game is gone. There's now i story that, while not full of depth, surely gives your space flights a feeling of purpose - where else the prequel had no plot what so ever.

Pesky, invisible barriers, gone. Unlimited continues, gone. Coin attraction ability that made game a bit too easy, gone. Most of all, being forced to use the gimmicky touchscreen to swap weapons, ouhta here. Touch screen is now optional if you want to control your ship via stylus.

I'm already endeavoring the new gameplay that's set up, especially the customization for you ship. The game itself is tough as nails, but fun as hell for a hardcore shmuppet fan. The graphics, for a DS, are awesome and far surpass that of any DS game about, and i love the music. Shin'en really shows what this system can be capable of. Although i have yet to finish the game, as of now, Shinkai my favorite level, simply because of the music

Yes, it's not mainstream appeal, but it's definitely my cup of tea.

Oh, and for the record, on the box that I actually have, it says, "Simply Stunning," by Play Magazine. You don't get compliments on the box art for many DS games now do you.
