We'll probably need this. John Coltrane - Syeeda's Song Flute Coltrane was the man. He totally fills whatever he plays with notes, and it's all completey precise and planned out. I wouldn't have thought a human could do that until I heard him for the first time. Edited by Pie Boy, Jan 9 2008, 05:39 PM.

"Existence is random. Has no pattern save what we imagine after staring at it for too long. No meaning save what we choose to impose. This rudderless world is not shaped by vague metaphysical forces. It is not God who kills the children. Not fate that butchers them or destiny that feeds them to the dogs. It's us. Only us." -Walter Kovacs

Rotar-Autechre Even though it's slow it'd still make an awesome boss battle theme. |

I'm thinking about buying it now, actually. It looks crazy fun. Streetlight Manifesto - Here's to Life This song is absurdly hard to play. |

The Phendrana Drifts song. I remember this one the most, and it just brings all the nostalgia from Metroid Prime 1 screaming back. From those days shortly after Christmas I spent running through the Chozo Ruins, to that one afternoon I fought Ridley................................... |

Metroid Prime III: Corruption - Yellow Valkyrie An awesome remix by top remixer Shariq Ansari. He's made two other from the past two Prime games and finishes his personal trilogy with a an awesome remix of Skytown, Elysia. |

Ohhhhhhhhhhh, so that's the song that was remixed for Yellow Valkyrie. I always seem to have trouble in identifying some of the OCRemixes, simply because of the reinterpretation. Anyway, I'm at it again with OCR, this time with duhduhduh, DOOM - Dark Side of Phobos CD album. I haven't played much in terms of Doom, nor much of the influential PC shooter, though i have enjoyed a nice round with Doom 3. However, that's not to say i can't enjoy any music that I haven't listened to on a game (Which has already been proved with FF7 - VotL and Thieves of Fate). I'm already enjoying how snazingly good this music is, and it's obvious why OCR call it the ultimate Doom Remix project. One of my friends would love this album. On a side note, my nice little iPod nano is absolutely full, thanks to downloading that Doom album. Edited by CEMP, Jan 11 2008, 10:35 PM.

"To look for a shipwreck is at best a crapshoot, and to launch and fund a search, it helps to be the headmaster of the village idiot school or else the kind of stubborn lunatic who tries walk through walls simply because they're in the way. I probably fall in the latter group." - Clive Cussler, The Sea Hunters II![]() ![]()

Well, the opening is Skytown, Elysia, but I also hear the opening title to Corruption looping as the eerie sounding synth that's used quite a bit in songs that deal with the Chozo in Prime. I think there might also be some hints of the openings to the past Prime games too... Gonna need to ask about that one... Currently listening to Metroid Prime III: Corruption - Omega Ridley followed by Gandrayda's Theme |
