Here you go, Rip.

Enjoy.

Hey, sometimes that can be serious stuff. In my middle school, in my eighth grade year, we actually had a sulfur smoke bomb incident in the same hallway I was in, very close to me. People that reacted to it had to be rushed to the hospital, one of my friends actually stopped breathing. Turns out that someone had called about it the day before, but the faculty dismissed it as a false threat.

Just be glad it was a false alarm.

Roffel House!

I miss the good old days where if you misbehaved you got the good old belt on your ass. Do any of these parents realize that being politically correct when raising your kids isn't doing anyone a favor? My ass was raw on many occasions growing up and I think I turned out just fine.

This. People are just too lenient with punishment, kids have to learn lessons at an early age or they will only learn it much later on in life after much suffering and difficulty.

Anyway, I took a risk and watched Dragonball Evolution simply to see if the fans would be right.

I walked out fifteen minutes after the opening credits ended. Had I not seen Saw and Breathless previously, I would have said it’s one of the worst films I’d seen in years.
It’s bordering upon being ‘so bad it’s good’ but it falls short of the mark and ends up as a horrible mess.
The worst thing about this though, is it seemed like every actor was truly giving their all and putting real effort into trying to get the roles right.

I actually thought the Dragonball movie wasn't that bad until they introduced Bulma. Damn, her character was horrendous! I still got a good laugh out of it though.

Double rant GO!

GOD, the Tau are so pathetically weak in Soulstorm compared to Dark Crusade. In fact, I actually prefer the latter. O'Kais could actually survive a Slugga Boy pack. Or'Es'Ka just bends over for them.

And as soon as a Big Mek shows up it turns into a bloodbath.

Just don't play DoW II. They completely decimate base-building capabilities in it, and it makes me sad.

Rant: My A/C in my '95 Jeep Cherokee no longer works when I go up hills. >.<

Well done, RIT! Well done, indeed! Your online Student Information System, which since this is a tech school you would of course assume works perfectly, is just absolutely bloody brilliant! Perfect! Just what every stressed-out college student trying to register for courses for next year needs!

Oh, and I especially like the part where I'm not allowed to sign up for any of the Game Design & Development courses, even though I'm IN the program! So well done, I should take lessons! Which is, ironically, what I'm actually TRYING to do...

Not to mention it takes forever to get in, lag up the ying-yang, and even if you do manage to get in the odds are you're going to get kicked back out for being idle, because it's lagging so bad! Such wonderful system design. If I didn't know better, I would assume the system was designed by a school for teaching such subjects to it's students! Oh, wait.

/sigh

Still, I must note a small bit of success. I managed to register for one, that's right, one out of the four classes I had been planning to sign up for. Sure, it was at a different time than I had wanted as well, but still. One out of four? Seriously, RIT? Seriously?

Definitely stopping in to see my student adviser later today to get this sorted out... If I had known it would be this pointless, I wouldn't have stayed up all night til 6 in the morning to register in the first place!

/arglebarglegnumphgnimph...

Although, last quarter I didn't even register until after about a week after the normal registration date, and I still ended up with a pretty dang awesome schedule... Maybe I'll get lucky this time as well. Just really hope I can get into that 2D animation course on Friday...

...

Okay, I think I'm done now.

Edit: On the plus side... Thank god the only class I have today was canceled, since the teacher's at a game conference. Now I get to go sleep... T.T
