I just _____ in the _____.

Actually I think the idea of a modern fantasy MMO with vampires, werewolves, witches, and fey would be awesome. I would even consider paying monthly for it.

I wouldn't want it to be based on Twilight's rules, however.

So don't worry Foxy-chan, we're still on the same team *hands wooden stake*

I think the biggest reason why there is no proper vampire based MMORPG's is because vampires are usually considered very fast and very powerful, and in MMORPG's you usually have limited mobility due to either balancing or engine limitations.

Thing is, if they did one in the style Beflexor's talking about, everyone would be equally overpowered. Therefore, balanced.

Until then, we've got our cows, anime-haired elves and space goats.

Not what I'm talking about. When I said vampires are very fast and very powerful I mean that high level ones USUALLY move like a blur compared to humans (depends on what kind they are based on) and can jump several stories at a time, potentially fly or levitate, etc etc. Things that MMORPG's usually aren't suited for, because of the massive multiplayer bit.

It probably is possible, but it would end up being a massive clusterfuck or no one being able to target one another, or similiar. It works for singleplayer games, but it would be troublesome to make it work well for a multiplayer game.
