I was thinking of something along the lines of a Dump Truck. He uses that giant bed of his as a shield and melee weapon |

![]() On Cybertron, she was a combatant ever since the start of the civil war. Rumor has it, she even holds memories of the Quintesson Occupation. Whatever the case, she has a small unit of Autobots under her command. She starts out looking like this, but eventually ends up looking like a 1983 AMC Eagle. (1983... That's three years after Mt. St. Helens woke up Teletran One. That is the volcano that the Arc crashed into. Hmmm.....) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() P.S. There already was a blue Corvette, 1974 if I recall correctly. Second season of G1 Transformers, Traxx. He was an Autobot with the special ability to blind his targets with pure shadow. Also, remember, the first run of actual Autobots and Decepticons all had a "superpower" of some sort. Mirage could turn invisible, Hound created holograms, Soundwave could intercept communication transmissions. Not all of them were displayed, but they had them. So is this going to be set in the present day or back earlier in the century? EDIT: And... damn. I'd play Tracks, but... I don't think I could convincingly RP as a guy in love with himself. Edited by Bloody Pom, Jun 26 2009, 10:28 PM.

Oh, my vote's for present day. I never really did care for the "All Spark" plot. Never really fit in with the TF Mythos. There was the core of Cybertron, the thing that gave Sparks to the Aerialbots. But, meh. That's another story. Maybe Jefe was right... I needed a break from the Metroid canon Sci-Fi RPs.... I'm really starting to get back into the swing of things here... |

I just had a brilliant, if insane idea... What if they could scan objects other than vehicles andd transform into them. I know there's cases of this with the smaller Decepticons and the like, and there was the Mountain Dew robot, but... Full-size, transforming Space Marine Land Raider... *drools* I mean, it couldn't be THAT hard to sneak a peek at a Games Workshop store, could it? Edited by Bloody Pom, Jun 26 2009, 10:36 PM.

I would think it would make sense if we had some guidelines for that. Things like: 1) Benefit 2) Practicality 3) Functionality (meaning if you scan a toy, you become the toy... not a functional version of the toy) 4) Mass (according to the comics, there was ample use of 'Null-Space'... this was used to describe where Prime's trailer always went when he was in 'bot mode, and how Soundwave was a 20' tall 'bot, but then was a walkman that clipped to a human's belt. Megatron was even a P38 Ruger that could fit in a human's hands OR another TF's hands. For the sake of story, we really shouldn't abuse the hell out of that....) 5) According to the real story, not the movies, it wasn't the Transformer that did the scans himself. It was a central computer somewhere (Teletran One for example), or another 'bot that did the modifications (like Wheeljack or Ratchet). If the 'bot could do the scanning and self-modding, he could literally be an unlimited shapeshifter. That wouldn't be good at all. We gotta have some limitations, I think. Alright, never mind. Although it'd be funny to see a metal Land Raider model suddenly come to life and start spraying tiny little bolter rounds everywhere... Now to find a different car to use if I play an Autobot... Edited by Bloody Pom, Jun 26 2009, 10:48 PM.

I'm more of a Beast Wars fan than a Transformers fan. I don't know, I may or may not actively participate in this. I need to get my butt back on RPing though, that's for sure. |

I am definitely thinking of going with a mini-cooper. One with a checkerboard pattern on top and on the rear-view mirrors. Also contemplating using the 'glass cannon' ideal. AKA, hits pretty dang hard, but can't take hits at all. Edited by Tvae, Jun 27 2009, 01:17 AM.
