Warcraft RP; Anyone interested?

Count Claudio Posts: 242 Group: Roleplayer Member #11 Joined: Jan 8, 2008	I'm thinking of starting a Warcraft RP based around political intrigue. I haven't gotten a storyline figured out yet, but I do have some specifics if anybody is interested in making a character. 1. It's going to be focused around inter-faction relations. You can be a character from the Horde, Alliance, or from the faction mentioned in 2. 2. Blood elves and Forsaken are not part of the Horde. They are collectively an independent faction that the Alliance is highly wary of. 3. Draenei - in the sense of the playable race in WoW - do not exist. There are no draenei on the Alliance. There are the Lost Ones and the draenei in Outland, but they are not playable characters. 4. If you're crazy, you can try to go into Outland, but it's not recommended for this campaign. If you are interested and want to participate, but have not played the games/want to refresh your knowledge of the history, then Chapter One of the history starts here. Any takers?

People are probably used to the characters they have on WoW though, so that's probably why they thought of them first. Anyway, if blood elves and Forsaken aren't part of the Horde, then it'd be pretty obvious that it's not in-game, I would think. Edited by Norcar, Mar 21 2008, 09:41 PM.

This RP would not be influenced by things that happen in WoW. This RP would not take inspiration from WoW, except for some of the characters. And most of all, this RP would not be restricted to characters that you had made on WoW. Keeping this in mind, does anybody want to at least give this RP a shot instead of saying "Oh look, my main is a Draenei, so I can't make another character"?

Machine Intelligence Posts: 138 Group: Roleplayer Member #42 Joined: Feb 16, 2008	I'd potentially join in, depending on how things developed. I like the Warcraft backstory, or at least most of it, but elements of it irritate me highly. That being said, i like the idea of the Forsaken and the Blood elves being an independent faction, it certainly puts an interesting spin on things.
