If you're a returning member, no, your account has not been deleted, we've actually changed board since you were last here. just go ahead and register, PM one of the staff, let us know you're here, and we'll get right to work converting your information and post count from the old board. Keep in mind that any RPs running on the old site are probably still there, so if you don't see them here, just check the 'Home' Page, and follow the link back to the old board. |

![]() The Valkyrie has gone through many reconstructions during it's service period, the latest being it's sixth. ![]() Unlike previous versions, the Valkyrie Mark 6 returns to the tradition twin engine design, in addition to a Bussard Ion Engine for Transient Tunneling ![]() As is visible here, the craft has retained it's typical shape, despite numerous modifications to the cockpit and engine spaces, but has been extended to a length of 27 Meters to support a slightly larger crew, and more equipment and storage space. ![]() The wingspan of the Valkyrie Mark 6 is 26 Meters, and features multiple engine intakes for both atmospheric, transient, and orbital flight. ![]() The Mark 6 also features a full thruster suite allowing a total of 10g thrust in any direction, and almost 30g on any axis. ![]() Certain features have been added to the Valkyrie since it's first version, but the ability to separate into two individual combat units for greater maneuverability and weapons exposure, and lock together for greater cruising speed has remained a constant in the Valkyrie's design. ![]() Ladies and gentlemen, presenting the Valkyrie Mark Six, designed and conceived by esreveRPsychology, Modified by Ryan Decker, and constructed by Caelius Studios. EDIT: I was asked to put the MK1 Valkyrie in this thread for comparison, so here it is: ![]() *shakes head* We've come a long way... Edited by esreveRPsychology, Apr 20 2009, 05:20 PM.

I said it on AIM, but I'll say it again here: Awesome CG work. I'm taking it that you'll be coming back to RE with a few plans, no? Or just ideas? |
"To look for a shipwreck is at best a crapshoot, and to launch and fund a search, it helps to be the headmaster of the village idiot school or else the kind of stubborn lunatic who tries walk through walls simply because they're in the way. I probably fall in the latter group." - Clive Cussler, The Sea Hunters II![]() ![]() | |

Holy crap on a stick, man. If I had money, I'd commision you to render T'kran's ship. But unfortunately I don't Incredible design there, you've got a real talent for CG work. Edited by Bloody Pom, Apr 21 2009, 06:50 AM.
