 I had tossed the idea of a hybrid around in my noggin before... things like Shadow/Quick, or Bubble/Flash. Fact is, one can come up with any viable reason as to why their "element" works for them.

Woodman is Woodman because he looks like a log-man, not because he is necessarily wood. Sure, there is a wood theme, and perhaps some wood elements thrown in there somewhere for design purposes. (Look closely at Airman's bio and you'll see a hint about the Leaf-Shield's effects it had 'back in the day').

The Leaf Shield didn't have to be wood or actual leaves to begin with. Heck, it could have been metal to begin with. And, to make it a shield, the metal plates shaped like leaves were reinforced by some sort of EM field.

So, there's that idea.... Besides, I'm still tossing the GearTek LLC thing around, and still working on a full Eight-Bot Roster. (We MUST have eight robots, don't we? Well, I guess we could narrow it down to six if we really wanna be nostalgic.)

Qualanx, what ever happened to your Heatman idea?
