Hm... I'd have to go to the nearest store and take a look at what used ones they have there, but I think finding an AC adapter would be much MUCH cheaper than buying even a used DS or DS Lite... I must look into this...

I would try eBay or something similar for one. You could probably find one for cheap. If its an original DS, the SP charger works too, so you might score one of an unwitting seller that way.

So I've been seriously thinking about renting a studio where I can work on my art. There's an art studio about half a block from where I go to college, and I can rent a studio for $8 a foot. They've got tiny rooms, which is really all I need. I've been seriously considering it for a while, and not only would it be a place to work on art, but I could possibly study there too.

The problem is you have to be over 21 to rent a studio. So should I ask someone else to rent it and pay them for the studio, or should I wait till I'm 21 to bother.

Also, next semester my parents won't be able to pay for my schooling anymore, so if I go back, I'll be paying for classes, and they're only going to pay for my textbooks. I'll probably barely have the money to keep my car on the road, not to mention pay for food, clothes, and art supplies.

If I don't go back, I'll be out of a job. I'm a work study, so I can only keep this job as long as I have 6 credits a semester. But the problem with that is, I don't get health insurance unless I'm full time, which is 12 credits, and I need that super bad. So I need to get a full time job eventually.

*gasps for air*

OMFG tangent... Any ideas?

Ouch Rip, thats a tough situation. A couple of questions / comments;

1. Are there any types of financial aid you could apply for that you haven't yet? Grants or somesuch?

2. I wouldn't trust someone to be completely honest with the whole Your-Name-My-Money Renting situation, personally. He could technically do whatever he wanted with your stuff since it was under his name, but that may just be my paranoia with such things.

3. Talk to your employer. Sometimes they are given extra funding for non-work study employees; that's what they did for me, when I worked in WVU's Library System.
