"Bring us in," Z'Gato said, addressing his ship's AI. The ship then tipped down from its orbit around G79 and began to pierce the atmosphere. Like most other ships, there was a gout of turbulence as the heat shields did their job, preventing the ship from burning to a crisp. A few moments later, the external temperature began to die down (though not by much) as the small personal ship began its landing run towards the dig site. Already, Z'Gato could see a few other ships making their way to the vicinity, and while his facial expression was one of irritated disgust, he knew that this was inevitable by the way Doctor Tholburn had practically spammed out her ad across this sector. After some careful maneuvers, Z'Gato's ship was the third to arrive on the scene, landing about 30 meters away from the other two. Z'Gato secured his Chozo Power Armor helmet on himself before disembarking from his ship, where he walked towards the dig encampment. The guards were...pleasant, apparently. After a few minutes of talking with them and proving he was here on a job, they finally let him through, instructing him that Tholburn was probably in the coordination tent, smack in the center of the camp. Z'Gato didn't say much afterwards, walking through the bustling dig site as people were busy carrying tools, driving vehicles, or hauling crates from one place to another. At first, Z'Gato was wholly surprised by the large group working for Doctor Tholburn, assuming that it was probably a handful of people working on this project. It was clear to him now just how easily information could have leaked from this place and attract raiders and mercenaries. But what could possibly be at this dig site in order to call for such an extensive excavation? Z'Gato mused that he would soon get his answer as himself and two others (whom he only nodded towards without saying anything) arrived at the central tent. Before either of them could enter, however, a woman of about late 20's seemed to storm out of it. She was wearing a red tank top, brown utility shorts and a pair of tough-looking boots. A pair of glasses adorned her face and her long brown hair was tied into a tight knot, and her waist was covered in a plethora of tools at her belt. She seemed surprised at the three just now arriving, and it was blatantly obvious that she was suspicious and nervous. "Oh, H-hello, are you the Hunters that signed up for this?" |
