T'kran had an odd feeling about this Chozo... but for now they were on the same side. But if he got in the way of his ultimate goal... T'kran would brush him aside like any Pirate. Omega's safety, the destruction of Ridley and the potential revival of the true Pirate race were his motives now... and if Z'Gato hindered him in achieving those goals he would receive no mercy. Seeing Narssek's little deal going on, he smirked, and decided he would seal the bartender's wallet, and keep him quiet. Walking over to the man, he bent down a little so he was about level wth him, and pulled a credit stick out of his back pocket. Sliding it towards the man, his eyes locked onto the human's. "There's almost an entire bounty's worth of credits on there. Like my friend said, we aren't pirates." Smirking a little, he stood up again and followed after the others. He soon split off, though, heading off somewhere. He was cautious enough to not leave his valuables on his ship; his suit was safe enough, but he had stashed his belongings somewhere else... ------------------------------- About one hour later, a tall, hooded creature was pushing his way through the crowd. He ducked off into an alleyway and headed towards the city's docking facilities. Heading down into one of the open-roofed hangars recessed into the ground, there waited a large, dropship sized vessel that had subtle, but quite noticable Pirate design influences. Once inside the ship, T'kran pulled his hood down and removed the cloak he was wearing. It was one thing for a Pirate look-alike to be in a bar, but wandering through a city was suicide, so he had to keep himself covered. Sitting himself in the cockpit, he tapped a few consoles and the ship burst into life. A few moments later, that familiar silver and blue security drone appeared on the screen. "Been busy, have we? Because I've had to sit here on my metallic behind for the past day!" spoke the AI in a snide, metallic voice. "Oh, shut it, Axon. If anything you enjoyed not being ordered around. Say... Axon, perform a sensor scan of the city. If it's not human, I want to know." "Right away. ................. Okay, here we go: there's a couple hundred non-humans, nothing too spectacular... wait a second... Take a look at this." A sensor blip appeared on the wireframe map of the city that had been showing on his hud. Underneath the blip was minute text. Unidentified Target: Subject contains both human and Metroid DNA. T'kran's eyes widened for a moment, and he sighed. "Omega..." His hand rose up, fingers resting on the screen where the blip was. "I'm doing this for you, kid. Stay out of trouble..." Activating his commlink, he switched to the frequency Narssek had given him. "Narssek, you there? I'm ready to leave when you are." Looking to Axon again, he frowned. "Alright Axon, this ought to keep you busy. I want you to infiltrate the Pirate datalinks.... any you can find... and download all the data that isn't too encrypted to the archives. We'll need information if we're going to pull this off." "The entire Pirate archive? That'll take forever!" "I know it will. I didn't steal you from the Pirates for nothing, you know, You're the best AI they've made, and I'm pretty confident you can pull this off." |
"A battle for supremacy against many foes is a battle of the best kind. There are few considerations, only those concerning where to place your next shot. It is war in its purest form." - Commander Karziel, Ultramarines 5th Company![]() ![]()
