ROLEPLAYING

First of all, here’s a kind remember to always bare in mind the roleplaying rules written in the rules & regulation section.

Moving on…

1. Freestyle Roleplay
This is where you are free to RP any form of genre you wish to. It could be a spontaneous decision for you to RP comedy, which occurs occasionally around here. There are various other genres such as romance, angst, adventure and even horror. There’s plentiful of genres which you can use for freestyle roleplay. It could even be a fusion of genres(which is a common feature of storylines).

2. Storylines Roleplay

There is no limit to the number of SLs(Story Lines) you make or join, but please make sure you can handle being active in all of them. Also, we will tolerate one-liners every now and then in your SL, but please try to RP with the best of your abilities. We highly advice you to be specific and detailed in your posts for your SL.

When putting up the topic of your SL, please do indicate if it is either open to all members of the forum, or if it is restricted to a certain person or group. To do so, you can indicate the username(s)/character name(s) of the required participants in the topic description section. Also, avoid breaking any of the rules of the board; otherwise, you will have the staff to deal with. Also, if you wish to set up a few of your own rules in the SL, feel free to do so, but make sure they DO NOT conflict any of the rules in RR.

Key:
Blue refers to a setting.
Green refers to an appearance of your character.
Orange refers to the driven purpose of your character in the SL.
Yellow refers to the feelings of the character you want the SL to revolve around
Purple refers to the instructions of the SL setter that may or may not be there; it’s an optional thing for the setter.

Why tell us the obvious necessities of what an SL should have?

That is because those are the given model examples of expanded parts of a setting, appearance, driven purpose etc which an SL is highly encouraged to have.

Is it compulsory for an SL to be in-depth?
As mentioned above, SLs are encouraged to be lengthy and descriptive such that your full potential in RPing is displayed and honed. However, it is not compulsory for your SL to be long but it is required that you provide explanations for the ‘mysterious’ events of your SL. Basically, as a setter of an SL, you would need to explain necessary things for your participants eventually.

What are the appropriate rules of an SL?
First of all, you do not barge into a topic where you are A. Not listed in the list of participants or B. Interrupting a very serious moment and the first part of the SL is already about to end.

Second of all, obey the roleplaying rules displayed in our rules and regulations and you shall remain within the safety boundaries. (Do not past the boundaries into the danger zone where you are on the risk of being whacked by my brother’s lightning punishment hammer or struck by my deadly punishment spear.)

That’s about it, unless any other staff member has personal warnings to give. But no really, we’re actually very friendly.
