My ankle is killing me... D: Nick was being mean today! As always! He's a bully....hm. I hit a huge writers block, ja. One of you is going to die, ja. Or are you??? Damn...i dont even know. I just write, I dont plan ahead....ehhhh.

The old man held the gun up to Adam, "Are you scared yet?"
Adam was too scared to speak. Grant slowly asked, "Why are you going to kill us?"
"Why can't I? I know if I let you go, you'll kill me..." The old man's accent was gone, his English was close to perfect. "What are you suggesting, child?" The old man moved his gun to Grant.
"You're not really an old man, are you?" Grant observed.
The old man smirked, "You catch on quick, as expected." Suddenly, the old man's phone rang. All five turned their attention to the phone. The old man answered with one hand, the other still pointing it. "What is it? I'm in the middle of finishing off the twirps." The old man listened to his phone, then hung up. "You, come here." He motioned for Adam. Adam slowly walked over, shaking slightly. "I want the three of you to do me a favor." The old man held the gun against Adam's head. "Do it or you're friend will die."
"Adam..." Zane managed to say. Then he swallowed what felt like a big lump in his throat, "What do you want from us?"
"Oh, just go to school, act natural, like you don't know what happened to this child. You will hear your orders from my boss." The old man chuckled, "And don't try and disobey, we'll keep a close eye on your rascals."
Adam muttered something inaudible, Ryan stared hard at the old man, "We don't have any other choice, guys."
The old man nodded, "Now leave, never come back here. Ever."

Zane arrived to his frist period class, looking like a zombie. No surprise, since he couldn't get any sleep last night. He had a nightmare where people were rushing at him, pushing and shoving, trying to get to the only exit of the large enclosed area they were in. Then a hard shove in Zane's shoulder, causing him to fall on the ground. But he couldn't get up, when he realized he wasn't human - something had taken over him and it wasn't from Earth. Zane shook his head, trying to clear his thoughts. He saw Grant during passing period, who was sipping a cup of coffee, looking just as tired as he did. Zane swiped the coffee, "I am so beat. I had a nightmare." Zane explained after he took a long gulp from the coffee.
"Tell me about it..." Ryan appeared out of nowhere and grabbed the coffee, taking a swig. "I had a nightmare about being pushed into a subway, where these evil guys were attacking this guy and all the people were robots..." Ryan shivered and took another sip.
"I had one about being pushed and turning into some sort of alien." Zane admitted, taking back the coffee for another slurp. He was filled with the constant worry about his supposed disease he had gotten. When or how he had gotten it was a mystery to him, and he wasn't sure if it would ever take affect. But the idea still floated around his head.
"I had a nightmare where I was being chased down some stairs, and I had this potion that I had to deliever...but I never got there." Grant sighed, "This sort of reminds me of the way...uhm...Adam used to talk to us about his nightmares."
"But we never really listened." Zane admitted.
"Excuse me, boys." A teacher, the new sub for Spanish. She looked down at the three and snarled, "But class is about to start soon. And we all know what happens to boys who don't follow the rules." The sub pursed her lips. "Move along, children."
Ryan bristtled slightly, "Got it."
"Yea, I'm off." Zane said, handing over the coffee.
"Okay, see you." Grant left with his drink. During lunch, when they were sure the sub was not near, Grant concluded, "The sub was sure to be the one with the weird handwriting!"
"No, it can't be." Zane argued, "Her handwriting is like...Adam's."
"That's not possible." Ryan decided, "No one can read Adam's handwriting - not even Adam can read his own handwriting!" Ryan shook his head, "And I actually am getting a lot from that class."
"Well yea, because your grades are so low I guess a 2 on your report card looks like progress." Grant murmured.
Zane snickered, "But that's not the -"
"Boys." The three turned to look up, the sub glared down at them, "Here. Extra credit." She handed them a large yellow envelope and walked away.
Grant opened it, "This is -"

Adam sighed, flipping through the channels, "Hey, old man, you got comcast or something? These channels suck."
"Shut the hell up and watch PBS, punk." The old man growled, he was sitting at the dinner table, doing stuff on his laptop. Adam was chained to the couch by his leg. Adam rolled his eyes and switched the TV off. He managed to reach the bookself, where old books lay in neat stacks, gathering dust. He brushed off the dust of one of the books and sat down on the couch. He flipped through the book like he had with the channels on the TV; it was an old Russian book. Adam didn't understand, something didn't fit. He closed his eyes and thought hard. He opened his eyes to see the old man typing quickly at his computer. Then it clicked, hadn't the old man had a Russian accent? But what did that mean? Adam blinked, he wished Grant was there to help. So what if the old man was Russian, he didn't have the accent anymore...unless.... Adam gasped, causing the old man to jump. Adam flipped through the book again, it all made sense now!

THE END!
