Write something, and we'll fit the count in. 'Tis easy enough to do, as we're revamping the whole thing anyway. |

There are probably some grammatical and spelling mistakes in here. I haven't really added a conclusion to it, but I really don't know what to say. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Archetypes are universally recognized characters, plots, and themes that have been duplicated many times throughout history, usually emanating from ancient fables, stories, and tribal tales. Psychologists such as Freud and Jung have hypothesized that archetypes are not just patterns, but actual parts of the human psych. Archetypal themes are the most recognized, and almost all stories hold archetypal themes in some form. Some examples of archetypal themes are love conquers all, power corrupts, good over evil, hate destroys, and justice prevails. These themes are predominant in action/adventure stories, because most of them involve a battle between good and evil. Archetypal characters are styles of characters that appear throughout literary works in history. The archetypal hero is a strong, brave, and pure person acting for the better of others. Generally, an archetypal hero must battle both an internal conflict and an external conflict in order to achieve his ultimate goal. An example of an archetypal hero is Eragon. The archetypal ‘princess’ in generally a helpless, beautiful girl that must rely on the hero to save her from some danger, usually from being captured by the villain. Many stories have a character known as the ‘shaman’, a wise teacher that trains and equips the hero before he embarks on his journey. An example of the shaman character would be Gandalf of the Lord of the Rings. The archetypal villain is one of the most universally acknowledged archetypes in existence. The archetypal villain is a flawed, evil character usually striving for power or wealth, without any consideration for others. The villain’s downfall will usually be accompanied by a last, desperate drive to destroy the hero. The archetypal plot is pretty straightforward. It begins with the character in his status quo, his normal life. Some outside force makes him go on the quest. The hero goes through a period of training to prepare, and then he embarks of the journey. He meets with the enemy and defeats them. Last comes the exaltation, and he his honored for his quest. |

I know it's not done, but at this point it almost sounds as if it's telling people to be stereotypical. It needs a big disclaimer, I'd say. |
