I'm gonna be as pretencious as possible, because I'm a goddamn genius, and fuck anyone who says otherwise. Henceforth enjoy my rushed example post. Duplex, with Ben Stiller and Drew Barrymore. Ben Stiller was likeable, because he's always likeable, even when trying to murder old ladies. Drew Barrymore, I want to marry. They buy a house, an old irish woman lives upstairs, she annoys them. She annoys them so much that they gradually begin to lose their sanity, and eventually resort to attempted murder just to get rid of her as their lives disintegrate as a result of her tendencies. So basically it's Mousetrap, but good. I love Danny DeVito, I love Drew Barrymore and I love Ben Stiller. So what's not to like? It would have been the best film I'd seen this weekend, had I not caught the last 6 minutes of The Truman Show earlier, and it's about as funny as American humour can take it. Sooo yay.

You think thats pretentious? You aint seen nuthin. Inglourious Basterds. Anyone who's as big a Tarintino fan as I am will tell you that Tarintino films, after all these years, have never failed to provide viewers with great enjoyment while maintaining a simple plot line. Seeing as most Tarintino films feature an all-star cast, you can tell Tarintino never settles for anything less than the perfect actor to suit the roles. At first I doubted Brad Pitt's suitability in the role, but after just a few moments of watching him at work, I can honestly say I was impressed and my respect for him as an actor has greatly increased. As for the plot, it was intriguing, unpredictable, and speculative, although the talking scenes inhabit the majority of this film, they kept me at the edge of my seat more than a jam-packed action scene would have. After viewing this film I can say with confidence that after all these years, Quentin Tarintino has not lost his touch, and this film does not come short of making it onto the Tarintino hall of fame. I am sure we can expect more Tarintino Blockbuster hits in the near future. ^ kinda fail but yeh way more pretentious that yours i must say :> |

Paranormal Activity, it was an overrated awful movie to say the least. Not going to give it away, but the most interesting part with the most action occurs seconds before the screen fades to black and the credits role. Disappointing. |
