Random Suzaku Kururugi Fact of the Month

Suzaku Kururugi was actually the missing link needed to create the Atomic Bomb. Scientists were baffled on how to fabricate the weapon until Suzaku showed them a Spinzaku in real time. Everything soon became clear to them.

Character of the Month
Wendy Alexis Stalingrad
Wendy Alexis Stalingrad
Wendy Alexis Stalingrad was born to parents of particularly low status in the Holy Britannian Empire. Her mother was a simple chambermaid to the Royal Family and her father was a low ranking soldier in the military. Her father was killed early on when the Black Knights first appeared and her mother was killed soon after when during the Battle of Narita. Sent to live with her grandfather, she spent the better part of her years with him, learning how to be a proud soldier of Britannia. When he too was killed in the line of fire and when the Black Knights finally emerged triumphant, she was left with nothing. As such, she didn't hesitate to join the Britannian Restoration League upon hearing of their creation to get a shot at payback. All she could think of was destroying Zero and 'restoring' her homeland. Now a full fledged member of the BRL, Wendy's specialty is infiltration and espionage and she is often assigned to go undercover in Japan for various reasons. Has a long standing rivalry with Reid Legato, Becca Buchanan, and just about anyone else that gets on her nerves. She is probably well known for her white hot temper and 'shoot first, ask later' disposition.

The Land of the Rising Sun was a place that the world had become all too familiar with in the past few years. This was, of course, due to the birth of the United States of Japan and all that followed it, including their founders, the Black Knights. Virgil gave a sigh of amusement as he gazed out over the skyline of Tokyo. The last time he had visited 'Area 11', as it had been called in the past, the Black Rebellion was thought to be but a footnote in the annals of history, a memory, a mere skirmish. Amazing how quickly things could turn on their heads-- from terrorist group, to nation, to memory, back to nation, and finally 'superpower'. But the history of the world was filled with such dramatic turns of fortune and history, from Rome to Rebellion. Such was life, mused the Earl Churchill, such was life.

Today, Virgil was not too preoccupied with the war nor his memories of it. He dare not waste his precious day off dabbling on the parts of the past that would stay in the past. The war, afterall, was over, the battle both won and lost for the Empire and the battles and dates mere words in a textbook. Standing upon the rooftop of the prestigious Ashford Academy, Virgil looked much like a vulture staring out on the lawn of the schoolyard, his neck arched forward and his eyes in such a fashion so that they appeared shut, and slim smile upon his narrow face. In his hand laid a clipboard with a variety of important and official looking papers upon it, his odd golden eyes gleaming over the writing upon them with mild interest, a certain air to his eyes that showed merely a casual attention to what was more than likely vastly more important then his appearance would let on. To his right was a steaming and warm cup of tea standing perilously upon the balcony, it's steam carefully drifting off with the breeze.

Then suddenly, his 'attention' shifted. A visitor approached.

What brought the ever so lovely C.C. back to the rather spacious Ashford Academy you ask? Even if you asked her that, she probably wouldn't tell you. Today she was visiting on a top secret mission, so to say. She was to get into Ashford(Note, which isn't so hard) and head on to the student council room. It would prove a risky operation since there is a high possibility that she could bump into Reid Legato, which of whom she had been trying to elude. So far so good though since she hasn't even seen a trace of him around the settlement. Perhaps she could just put her worries behind her.

"I wonder if it's still in the same place as before. Some things do change after ten years I suppose.", she mumbled to herself.

Proceeding forward, disguised in the uniform for girls here at Ashford, C.C. careful treaded toward the front doors. The trip just happen to go past the school's beautiful flower garden, it resembled something out of a painting with it's vivid colors and such. Normally C.C. would acknowledge this, but she was devoted to her mission.

Once she successfully entered the main corridor, she was immediately swept away in the current of students heading to their next class. Perhaps she had arrived at the wrong time? Once the crowd died down, she had found herself somehow on the second floor. Even worse, nothing looked the slightest bit familiar to her.

"Since when were kids so eager to get to class?", she wondered.

Heading to the first door she spied, C.C. slowly turned the handle and pushed forward, revealing the school's rooftop. Nonetheless, there was an individual standing up here and he looked much to old to be a student.

The Earl's pupil swiftly moved to the side of his eye, taking a glance at the newcomer. She carried a blank vibe, the aura of a pariah, with her as she strode onto the roof. Outwardly, he appeared not to pay her much head, his passing gaze not even noticeable to the outside viewer. Yet, internally, her appearance occupied his thoughts for a moment. She seemed young enough to be a student, yet at the same time seemed far too old. Her appearance contained largely neutral, yet beautiful features, a subtle sort of stunning with the exception of her green hair which was largely reminiscent of his own. Of course, he felt no particular attraction to her nor nary any women or man alike, but could appreciate her ascetic as well as anyone else. However, he was less intrigued with that and more intrigued with her own mysterious air. Deciding to speak up, he did as much.

"It's the first class of the day and already students are cutting class? How queer."

Continuing to stare down at his papers, he reached his hand out for his tea in a casual manner. His smooth voice echoed somewhat in the open air, a mix of professionalism and plainess in it. It contained no judgment nor encouragement-- though a hint of very minor amusement could be heard if one digged deep. In all actuality, he knew she was no student-- she lacked the uniform -- but suggesting she was would likely draw a response in correction, and thus, start a conversation, of which Virgil wouldn't very much mind.

C.C. slowly stepped toward the mysterious gentlemen out of pure curiosity. After hearing him speak, she had already deduced the fact that he was no more a student here at Ashford than she was. Still, she couldn't help but ponder what this man's reason was for situating himself atop the school's roof. Not only that, but it felt like he was emitting some sort of strange aura to her, one that both puzzled and intrigued her. When he commented on her suppose class ditching, she picked up a tone of humor in his voice. In turn, this made her giggle a bit before taking a seat a short distance away on the roof's railing.

"Well then, why are you up here then? Shouldn't you head on down to the classroom as well?"

Behind her was a glorious view of the whole campus below with a bright blue sky up above. Even the school's dorms, which were quite the distance away, seemed pretty close from up there. Turning around to take in this view, C.C. wasn't at all daunted by how high up they were. It wasn't like she should worry about death anyhow. No, she told herself long ago not to even ponder that word or the concept of it. By now she had come to terms with the fact that death was something she would never be able to obtain, even with a Geass contract.

"Let me chat with this guy a little, then i'll get back to my mission.", she thought.

Virgil merely chuckled at the girl's query, very briefly and very softly. Taking another sip of his tea, he placed it once again on the marble balcony, never looking directly back at the new visitor on the roof. Answering someone's question with another question was always a rather rude thing to do, but everyone (his self included) had done so on at least one point in their life. Of course, he choose not to bring that up, oh no-- that would just complicate the conversation to levels in which it should not be complicated so. Casually flipping through another paper, he spoke up, his devilish voice consuming the atmosphere as it traveled to the woman's ears.

"You know, this place was allegedly a favorite hideout for the 99th Emperor. According to the staff here, he would skip class quite often and move to this very roof top and read for hours at a time, staring at the view, pondering. So, you and I are like him in some respects, no? Rebellious children, sneaking off when teacher isn't looking. Perhaps that should be the new line here at Ashford. 'Don't be a Lelouch, stay off the roof'. It's got a ring to it, no? It'd certainly keep us little boys and girls off, don't you think?"

Speaking with a lightness that indicated casualness, Virgil once again flipped a page on his clipboard, taking in the plethora of information even as he spoke in his loquacious tones to where one might think he wasn't even paying attention to the papers at all. Naturally, he was. But Virgil's mind was well acquanted with the art of the multi-task. Finishing off the page with unusual speed, filling up only a beat in the conversation, the Earl turned his head, giving the woman a side profile of the serpentine man for him. Once again, he spoke with an eerie charm.

"Of course, that's assuming either of us are students. I'm presuming not, and I've memorized the face of ever staff member on supply here so that's out. So then stranger, could I ask you for a name? I'll tell you mine if you tell me yours."

Hoping off the balcony, C.C. straightened out her skirt a bit before turning back to the individual. She had found it slightly annoying that he wouldn't even turn her way when speaking to her. Still, it wasn't like she could do anything to make him do so, but it still seemed very rude to her. He even had the audacity to bring up Lelouch's name in the conversation. Just what made him do so anyway? It wasn't like he knew anything about the two of them, but it was too weird to overlook.

"It's Cecille.",she stated shortly.

Even though his rudeness irritated her, C.C. still chose to associate with the man. He didn't look like a staff member, so did that mean he was just some stranger hanging out up here? She was beginning to question whether or not this school was even secure enough for people to send their kids here. Not to mention how easily she herself had slipped into the academy. But then again, she looked young enough in her uniform to belong here.

"You don't look like staff here either, might I ask what brings you here to Ashford?"

"Cecille? I see. My name is Virgil. Nice to meet you."

Virgil noticed her slight reluctance at his comment about the 99th Emperor, Lelouch vi Britannia. Of course, he couldn't really blame her too much-- he was a tyrant, a monstrous ruler by any and all classifications, a modern day Caligula. If she had lost someone important to her or merely had extreme rebellious disdain for the man, however, she was hiding it remarkably well. It seemed more like...irritation or annoyance at the mentioning of the name then hatred. A strange reaction indeed. If she were truly disgusted by the name, then he'd imagine her response to be much more violent and noticeable. But perhaps he was harping on body language a bit too much, perhaps analyzing the conversation a bit too thoroughly. Regardless, her response made him somewhat more interested in continuing their conversation. He responded to her question very quickly, slowly folding his clipboard and placing in a coat pocket. Grabbing his tea with one hand, he turned around completely, leaning on the ivory balcony, his defined and snake-like features becoming fully visible as he focused on Cecille with both of his squinted yellow eyes, his face ever smiling and as unreadable as his polite tone.

"Ah, so you know the staff. Did you go to this school, Miss Cecille? Ah, but I'm avoiding your question, if accidentally. I'm staying on these grounds for a few days. I'm an...acquaintance of the Ashford Family. They've offered me lodge as I conduct a bit of business in Shinjuku. This is, quite fortunately, one of my days off the job. Now then, might I rephrase your question and ask myself?"

'Finally' she thought to herself. Finally this man was no longer as abstract as she had thought. Now there was a name to go along with the man's strange aura. It relaxed her a bit now that the mysterious man was no longer such a big mystery after all. She retreated back to a spot on the roof's floor, laying her body flat against the hard surface. With that, she gazed up at the cloudless morning sky pondering on the info she was just fed.

"I just got sidetracked is all. I was on my way to the student council room on....'business'.", C.C. calmly declared.

It wasn't like she was lying to the man, she was here on an important mission. Whether or not she would reveal the top secret info on the objective was purely up to the man's actions. Personally, she could use all the help she could get considering the fact that she is now lost. It may have been smarter to steal a map of the school first before she had come here. Either way, there was no turning back here.

"Since you know the Ashford family, that must include the current Head Mistress, Milly Ashford, correct?", she inquired.

Milly Ashford, was most likely the same quirky character that she was ten years ago as the student council president. C.C. herself had not been in close relations with the girl, but she remembered that Lelouch had been close friends with her. Milly was always coming up with some type of entertaining event that C.C. had always found herself at.

Her question had no particular motive, none other than the simple feeling of curiosity of course.

Internally, Virgil pondered her comments on 'business' and Milly. For any Intelligence Officer worth his salt, 'business' was a censor for something someone wanted to hide. Whilst Virgil was trained enough to let his own use of the word fly by without notice, Cecille had no such luck. Virgil's interest peaked once more. Of course, the Earl didn't show it, not one bit, his face a closed book and all reaction invisible to anyone that couldn't read his mind. Naturally, it could be possible that she was just a postal worker or substitute teacher of some kind, but Churchill was inherently suspicious of this woman, and frankly, he had little else to do at the moment. Taking another sip of his steaming tea, Virgil spoke kindly and smoothly, not a hint of suspicious or supposition in his voice.

"The Headmaster? I've actually only meet her three times before. I was far better acquainted with her father whilst he was Headmaster-- she only felt obligated to allow me to stay because of politeness."

C.C. felt like asking more questions, but it seems that this gentleman was already somewhat suspicious of her previous inquiry. Well, wherever she went, suspicion was sure to follow. Glancing over at the clock in distance, she deduced that it had been a short while since she had arrived on the rooftop. In all that time she could've found the Student Council room and completed her objective.

"Awww, I thought you could've helped me out with something if you did..."

Indeed, if Virgil had been in contact recently with Milly Ashford, she could acquire the info that she needed now instead of having to take that perhaps long trip down to the council room.

"Say, do you know who the current Student Council Pr esident is at the moment? I need to have a word with them.
