Random Suzaku Kururugi Fact of the Month

Suzaku Kururugi was actually the missing link needed to create the Atomic Bomb. Scientists were baffled on how to fabricate the weapon until Suzaku showed them a Spinzaku in real time. Everything soon became clear to them.

Character of the Month
Wendy Alexis Stalingrad
Wendy Alexis Stalingrad
Wendy Alexis Stalingrad was born to parents of particularly low status in the Holy Britannian Empire. Her mother was a simple chambermaid to the Royal Family and her father was a low ranking soldier in the military. Her father was killed early on when the Black Knights first appeared and her mother was killed soon after when during the Battle of Narita. Sent to live with her grandfather, she spent the better part of her years with him, learning how to be a proud soldier of Britannia. When he too was killed in the line of fire and when the Black Knights finally emerged triumphant, she was left with nothing. As such, she didn't hesitate to join the Britannian Restoration League upon hearing of their creation to get a shot at payback. All she could think of was destroying Zero and 'restoring' her homeland. Now a full fledged member of the BRL, Wendy's specialty is infiltration and espionage and she is often assigned to go undercover in Japan for various reasons. Has a long standing rivalry with Reid Legato, Becca Buchanan, and just about anyone else that gets on her nerves. She is probably well known for her white hot temper and 'shoot first, ask later' disposition.

Ritsu chuckled as the scuffy substance wiped off his sharp shoes with ease. Placing his handy handkerchief back into his pocket, he turned back to his new friend in amusement. No one had even question his attire up until now. Maybe they were just too nervous due to Ritsu's dark aura, in which was not visible at the current moment due to his fantastic mood. Even Reid's answer was pleasant to his ears.

"It hit me at about age eighteen when I was told a story about a man clad in white. He was a knight, honorable and brave this man. In my past, my mother had always loved the color white, saying that it was rather pure and calming. And boy did I love my mother....so, I claimed the color for myself and thus my wardrobe was born! Ha, but you're the first to ask me that question, so if my chuckling offended you, I apologize. I think people became just content with staring at my attire."

Taking in some oxygen to rival his long statement, Ritsu leaned back onto the bench again. Even though it's exterior was hard, the park seat was very relaxing. The only thing missing was his beloved cat Domo, who's coat also happened to be white in shade.

"Honestly, I'm not really this talkative y'know? I'm more of the lone wolf type, so all this is really unfamiliar to me. But then again, my Dad did always criticize that about me..."

Reid chuckled himself and said "Don't worry, you're looking at the practitioner of the "strong, silent type" right here. Something about you puts me at ease however. You're alright with me pal!" Smiling, Reid thought on Ritsu's words before saying "A white knight, huh? I once respected a man who fancied himself as a white knight, swore I'd be just like him one day. Seems you beat me to it!" Laughing, Reid thought of the familiar, white knightmare suit that Suzaku wore and how it contrasted with the black suit that he chose to wear. Even their knightmare frames differed, with Reid idolizing the shiny, white Lancelot unit but being stuck with the knightmare issued to him, a grim black and orange.

With the nearby crowds dying down, Ritsu figured that it was getting a little late into the afternoon. This was the perfect time for him to head onto the graveyards since it would be much easier to maneuver through Shinjuku. Rising from his seat, he stretched his limbs slightly before staring off into the thinning crowds ahead. He chuckled again at Reid's comment before replying.

"Ha Ha, I'm hardly that of a knight, lets just called it a minor admiration for the color white. I actually came to Shinjuku to visit my parents' graves. I....actually lost both my parents at the tender age of ten during the Black Rebellion. So, I often find myself basing my action on what they would consider 'appropriate'. Though, I can't say I have the purest slate, wearing white also gives me this sense that my impurities are being washed away. Ah, but don't mind me, just the ramblings of a twenty year old going on sixty."

Ritsu had to honestly pause for a moment considering the fact that he had just revealed something so in depth, so private about himself to someone he had just met only moments ago. Still though, it seemed like Reid was a trustworthy person, and Ritsu was has never been in the company of such a character since his parents died.

"If you're not busy, would you care to join me?", he asked after his brief pause.

Reid rose after a moment and said "I'd be glad to. My parents died when I was eight. I don't really remember what happened to them but they're gone all the same. Sadly, they're graves are in Britannia so its been awhile since I've visited them." Reid then made a mental note thinking I've got to make time to see them when I'm back at the Military Academy. It just wouldn't be right not to. He then sighed and followed behind Ritsu as he was led to the graveyard. Reid felt as though the man had a familiar spirit, almost like that of the friends he remembered from his childhood. Perhaps that was why Reid felt at ease around him? Shruging, Reid decided that it mattered not. Although part of him did still wonder what became of the kids he played with. He had lost contact with them after he joined the Military and could not seem to find them again.

Ritsu humbly walked through the graveyard until he reached a pair of graves labeled, 'Mizura Nakagawa' and Tetsuya Nakagawa'. Kneeling down, he brushed a little bit of stray dirt that had drifted upon the name plates away with the same handkerchief as before. By now he sighed at the dirty cloth, needing to be washed once he gets back home.

"I'm back again....and using the handkerchief you gave me to good use Mom!", he joked.

The only thing he wished he had done on the way here was to stop and buy a pair of bouquets to lay at their graves. Either way, he'd feel the same as he always does standing before them, sadness and anger at the ones who have gone from calling themselves Britannian Military to BRL. Although, deep down, he felt he shouldn't even judge the actions of such individuals no matter how wrong they are because of his own sins. He who in the past never hesitated to take a life. He who probably killed a loving father, or someone's son. Though now it's far too late for repenting, Ritsu still finds himself waking up in a cold sweat at night, dreaming a nightmare of what once was.

"Don't worry you guys, I swear I'll avenge you guys!"

Seeing Ritsu's devotion to his fallen parents only served to strengthen his resolve in fighting the BRL to the death. Reid swore then in silence that no more unnecessary blood would be shed in regards to who is free and who isn't. The time to act was fast approaching. Kneeling down in front of the graves, Reid said a silent prayer for the two before rising up again. He the turned to Ritsu and said "Hopefully no more little children have to lose their parents to senseless violence and destruction. We can only hope." He then turned his gaze to the graves once again as the sun seemed to shine on them in a special, almost peculiar way.

On any other day Aoi would have avoided the graveyard, but this day was special. He walked to a lone tree and slowly unsheathed his sword. With a cry, he struck the sword into the ground and knelt by it. The present started to fade as he immersed himself in the memories of that horrific day.

It was the anniversary of his parents death when they came back from California to Japan. No, not Japan. It was renamed to Area 11 at that time. At that time, Aoi had thought that his family was impervious to the hurts of those less fortunate. But he was wrong, oh was he wrong.

His father had tried to protect him and his mom, but no matter what he said or did, those damned Britannians didn't listen. To Aoi's horror, his father was shot straight in the head, at point blank range. And then they came for his mother. His mother tightly hugged Aoi, and while weeping said, "It'll be fine, it'll be fine". Another shot rang out, and his mother fell on top of him. Thinking Aoi dead the Britannians left.

He crawled out from his mother's dead embrace and looked at both of them. Dead, they couldn't be. They were his parents, no one could hurt them, or so Aoi thought. The innocence of child-hood abandoned him that day, and he was left completely alone.

Returning to the present Aoi whispered, "I swear to you, I will not let the guilty go unpunished". After standing up and sheathing his sword, he looked to his right. He saw two people at a grave, one seemed to be the one mourning, the other seemed to be an observer. "I'm not alone today", he chuckled.

OoC: lol, and the posting continued once i thought it was over

Ritsu rose to his feet and continued to stare at the headstones of his fallen parents. He knew they probably wouldn't like him mourning them like he had been for so long, but he just couldn't bring himself to move on to the future. But then again, time never heals wound, it just makes them easier to cope with, or at least that was his view on things. Still, he wanted to avenge them, slay those Britannian soldiers that had taken away the most precious people he had ever known. He wanted to slay them just as he had those people he killed in the past as 'work'. Even though he was killing Britannian 'nobles' back then, he still felt this emptiness once it was over. Like no matter how many he'd slain, it wouldn't fill the gap of aggression he had toward those soldiers. In fact, e had hoped that they hadn't succumbed to the harsh Black Rebellion so that he could to the honers himself.

Burying such harsh thoughts in the presence of his parent, Ritsu simply rustled his hand through his somewhat shaggy black hair and replaced them with much happier thoughts such as memories form his childhood, or that tasty bento lunch he had consumed before heading on to the graveyard. Hearing his stomach rumble once again, he nervously laughed remembering that he was indeed in the presence of another.

"Sorry sorry, haven't eaten that much in the past week or so. At least I've been feeding my cat though."

OoC: You close and lock threads when they're done lol

Reid chuckled at the sound of Ritsu's empty stomach and said "Sounds like you're on empty." This statement caused uproarious laughter to consume both he and his new acquaintance. After awhile he said "Its getting late, let's get out of here." As he turned away Reid then spotted a peculiar man near a tree. What made him peculiar was not what he was doing but an item he possessed. Next to him, driven into the ground was a sword! Not many carried them anymore and this made him a rarity. Reid then turned to Ritsu and whispered "Hey, check out that guy over there!" He then gestured towards the man.

OoC: I know, I just got lazy this time!

Ritsu gazed over at the man in a way so that he wouldn't notice his staring. Indeed before Ritsu's eyes seemed to be an authentic samurai sword. Only once before he had seen a sword up close and that was only in his Dad's Japanese antique collection which was of course destroyed along with the rest of the home during the Shinjuku skirmish. Still, it was pretty amazing to see someone carrying one around in this day and age. Especially since society was is so fond with using guns and knightmare frames.

"Wow.......he must know how to use it since he carries it around like that....", whispered Ritsu.

He didn't want the man to hear or notice them since he didn't know the stranger's temperament. The last thing he needed was to start a fight in such a public area, but he would be more than willing to defend himself if the need arose. His hand to hand combat skills had only improved more and more since he joined the Black Knights.

"What could anyone possibly be doing with a sword if they don't plan on using it?", he thought to himself.
