Random Suzaku Kururugi Fact of the Month

Suzaku Kururugi was actually the missing link needed to create the Atomic Bomb. Scientists were baffled on how to fabricate the weapon until Suzaku showed them a Spinzaku in real time. Everything soon became clear to them.

Character of the Month
Wendy Alexis Stalingrad
Wendy Alexis Stalingrad
Wendy Alexis Stalingrad was born to parents of particularly low status in the Holy Britannian Empire. Her mother was a simple chambermaid to the Royal Family and her father was a low ranking soldier in the military. Her father was killed early on when the Black Knights first appeared and her mother was killed soon after when during the Battle of Narita. Sent to live with her grandfather, she spent the better part of her years with him, learning how to be a proud soldier of Britannia. When he too was killed in the line of fire and when the Black Knights finally emerged triumphant, she was left with nothing. As such, she didn't hesitate to join the Britannian Restoration League upon hearing of their creation to get a shot at payback. All she could think of was destroying Zero and 'restoring' her homeland. Now a full fledged member of the BRL, Wendy's specialty is infiltration and espionage and she is often assigned to go undercover in Japan for various reasons. Has a long standing rivalry with Reid Legato, Becca Buchanan, and just about anyone else that gets on her nerves. She is probably well known for her white hot temper and 'shoot first, ask later' disposition.

Arturus tu Britannia

There was little to take issue with concerning Shikine Island, it certainly didn't feel like home but then it was a military instillation and it was on an almost continuous alert. If the USJ ever figured out that they were here then that would be it. A certain degree of healthy paranoia was necessary to preserve their fragile secret, that a massive jamming shield, the latter probably helping more than the former. There was little to take issue with at all, but the one thing which Arturus could not forgive was that the coffee tasted like crap. Fair enough he wasn't living as a Prince any more and he'd lived in much worse spots just to stay alive, he didn't expect freshly brewed flavour rich coffee directly from the hills of Columbia, but the least he thought an army could do for its soldiers was to provide coffee worthy of human consumption. He placed his cup on the small table by his bed, he was alone in his quarters, being one of the few who still had their own, most of the soldiers were having to double up as more and more people flocked to the Commander's cause. He guessed it wouldn't last and he'd have to spend more and more time with the damned helmet on.

As it was it was nice to get out of his disguise, though it was necessary it was also hot and narrowed his vision a little. Not particularly problematic, but annoying all the same at least he'd still be able to take it off inside his Knightmare. Speaking of which he hadn't heard anything from the maintenance crew yet and he was more than ready to get back to the front. From what he'd heard things were quiet, as quiet as they could be at least , it was most certainly a sign of the coming storm and that made want to rejoin the fight all the more. It was difficult to remain still while all he wanted was to be allowed to obliterate all those who dared to stand as enemies of the true Britannia. Even in death I will make you proud, Your Highness.

Sighing he rose from his bunk and downed the last of the sludge they called coffee before retrieving his helmet from the same table. He stared at it, face to face as it were with his other self, the one which he would discard in the fullness of time and let shine once again the name of Arturus tu Britannia. 'All glory to Britannia,' he muttered to himself as he turned it over in his hands, donning it as he stepped towards the door and then into the hallway. He started off towards the main hangar, nodding at his fellow soldiers as he passed he'd earned something of a name amongst the BRL these past few years, he was not an officer but the troops were more than willing to follow his lead when it came down to live combat. That was one reason he maintained the charade, he did not want the soldiers' awe, fear or unwilling obedience, he wanted their respect. He wanted them to trust his lead not because they had to, but because they wanted to, at present that was not something he could do as Arturus. Tiberius though was not a political tool, not a noble, not a figurehead, he was a soldier from the soles of his boots to the top of his head.

As he stepped into the hangar the technicians instantly recognise him and directed him to the other end of the hangar, as he walked he scanned the frames in each bay he passed, mostly Gloucester DX types undergoing regular checks as his was. At last he came to the unmistakable crimson colossus, he looked up at it and folded his arms. This will do for now, what's the point in having a Knightmare if you wont even get to the front line? Sometimes being this other man suits me a lot more.

E.E. walked into the hanger and the room became deathly quiet as the lights were shut off. Only his bright blue eyes and geass mark under his left eye were visible. This was all most of the BRL members ever saw of him. He didn't need to say anything for the engineers to know that they had to leave for a while.

"Shame that your talents are being wasted is it not? Arturus Tu Britannia. Tell me why you joined with my cause. Give me a viable reason and I might just have more interest in you."

The lights over the knightmares came on, but E.E. stood out of range enough that he was still hidden. Looking up at the knightmare known as 'Nebula' made him chuckle. The gold and blue shown brilliantly and when E.E. turned around to see the Red knightmare it was obvious that something needed to be done or the troops would become uneasy. The three main knightmares of his forces were before him.

"The Crimson Knightmare: Arturus Tu Britannia. The Black Fallen Knightmare: Nikarov Christov Takeo. The Golden Flash: Wendy Stalingrad. Hard to believe you three are the main line of promising soldiers is it not? You should get to know your fellow soldiers. You might die together."

Arturus tu Britannia

Arturus did not so much as flinch as the lights died, it was a regular enough occurrence that he'd just gotten used to the Commander's rather theatrical methods of showing himself. He stood stock still until he heard the Commander's unmistakable voice behind him, beneath his mask his eyes widened and his body tensed. Though it wasn't an unforeseen circumstance he would've preferred his own secret stayed just that for some time longer, he'd guessed if anyone was going to put two and two together it would be the Commander. Nothing got past him. No sense trying to bluff, it was a fair catch. He turned and gave a salute to the bright eyes shining out at him from the shadows, he gave a fleeting glance to the glyph like mark beneath his C.O's left eye. Something seems.... no, no it's nothing... He returned his gaze to the Commander's eyes, though with his mask it would be difficult for anyone to tell the difference.

Arturus turned towards the illuminated Knightmares as E.E continued. 'So that's what they've started calling us now, is it? I hope you haven't told anyone else, for now I'd rather be Tiberius Britannicus a little longer if it's all the same.' He gave a short pause, but did not expect an answer would be forthcoming, after all he had yet to answer the question which had first been put to him. 'Yet I've no intention of languishing here either. I've a new Britannia yet to build if you must know... and mine will be greater.' He spoke without a touch a hesitation, though few ever had the privilege of being alone with their Commander, but he knew that if the man felt at all threatened by him then he'd already be dead, or under threat of death to be used for some political ploy. 'That is what we all want is it not?'

Still with his back to the Commander, he looked up at the Knightmare which had earned him his new nickname, still it was better than the one he'd earned in his time governing Area 2, even such a horrible alias as Crimson Knightmare implied respect of a soldier rather than fear of a tyrant. He looked back at the hovering blue eyes behind him, crossed his arms and awaited an appraisal of his answer, eager as he was to rejoin the fight he had no patience for mind games or schemes.

E.E chuckled at the comment made by Arturus. It was almost comical how he thought that his knightmare's name was now his new alias. The conceptions the troops made were that he had pulled some of the best troops out of no-where along with promising a return of the old regime. There was only one stipulation: E.E was vying for the throne and this fallen prince could be a threat to that goal.

"Your identity is only known to me, but you should really consider keeping your identity dead. If the others found out then there would be a breakdown of command, and needless to say in a battle between you and I the victor would be obvious."

E.E had to laugh once more, and then look back at the nebula. This 10th generation knightmare would spear-head an assault on the unsuspecting Black Knights, but when and where would be completely different than most would suspect if they did.

Arturus tu Britannia

Of course this man was not affecting his rebellion out of altruism or loyalty, such sentiments did not exist in Britannian hierarchy and this man was no different. Confident they were alone Arturus was glad of the opportunity to remove his helmet, holding it in the crook of his arm once he'd done so. 'Though such an encounter at this juncture would likely cost us both more than what the result would be worth. The mask stays on... for now at least and be glad of it, it is my gift of fealty to you.' Of course it wouldn't stay on for longer than was convenient and then his oath would be over and done with, but that rather went without saying. For the moment it was too inconvenient to not be the Commander's ally, a situation not uncommon amongst the old Britannian hierarchy either, the world never changed it seemed in spite of sweeping political movements. Arturus intended to amend that.

'But you know, neither your command nor your rebellion holds any legitimacy as of its conception. The name of Arturus tu Britannia would go a long way towards changing that if I were so inclined, at your request it could very well become a rallying point for the right-wing of that pretender Britannian government my siblings established. Or did you think you would overthrow it with martial strength alone? That would be naïve, hm?'

Though admittedly his battlefield tactics have been more than sufficient these past few years, he could never overthrow Cornelia and Schneizel both in that manner, let alone the popular support Nunally has garnered since here ascent. Clearly he's not a Britannian noble or the possibility would have occurred to him. Then again, perhaps he so fears being undermined through my authority by birthright he dismissed it as an opportunity already.

If the Commander accepted Arturus could help them both in the fullness of time, if not he could consider him openly hostile and begin to take measures for his own protection. Either way his answer would redefine their interactions to come, he never should have tried to confront Arturus so quickly.

"My troops follow me because they respect my command. Also I'm somewhat like Zero in the sense that I have gathered the remnants of the Britannian regime under Charles, and given them the belief that I can return Britannia to her former glory. I do not say that your name means nothing for the fact that I want the throne. I say it because you will never be able to kill me. You do not possess that kind of power."

E.E. walked over to his knightmare making sure that even though he was in the light his back was turned to Arturus. The world wasn't ready to know his face just yet, and the longer it stayed that way the better. Arturus had an advantage on the other troops though. He saw the geass symbol. Most who see that symbol either die, or are never seen again. E.E needed arturus so killing him was not an option.

OOC: Short, but I'm really distracted by school, and the topics.

Arturus tu Britannia

'If my name means nothing, why do you fear it so that you wish it to stay dead?' Arturus smiled at his Commander's back before he felt a sharp pain in his temples, he hissed through his teeth, having been taken completely by surprise at it. He quickly reinstated his composure and straightened up, the pain levelling out to a dull throb. He massaged the side of his head with his free hand as he continued. 'Your men follow you because they have nowhere else to go, they've been abandoned by the times as have we all. The Britannian Military, The Black Knights, there's nothing for them in either of these places. Here they feel as though they have a purpose again, that they're fighting and dying for something, not of something.' He approached the Commander, his face half shrouded in shadows as he continued to stare daggers at his back.

'And what is that?' The words dropped like a hammer blow between them, Arturus suspected that the restoration of Britannia had nothing to do with any of this, the Commander had merely seen a resource and capitalized on it. 'Despite what my father may have believed, power is not an end in and of itself. That being the case, there must be some end to which the throne of Britannia, my throne, is your only means.' The throbbing had died down to a more acceptable level and Arturus let his hand drop as he looked past the Commander and up at the Nebula, now there was a real problem, a 10th Generation Knightmare the true power of which he guessed that they had yet to see.

If I had something like that I suppose I'd be a little more self-assured as well. The fact remains though, even with a frame the likes of that, we can't outfight what's left of the Royal Family, let alone the Knights of the Round AND Zero.

"I will become the emperor, and you will know my true intentions then. Not one minute sooner soldier. I invite you to kill me, but none who exist can possibly kill me. You would try and fail, and with the Nebula at my controls none can stop me. Even I cannot unleash the full potential of this knightmare, and I'm only operating at a 64% level."

E.E.'s words were cold, and heartless. Yet he was laughing and looking up at the glory of the 10th Generation. It was beautiful, and had so much more potential. This weapon would prove to the world that he was the rightful ruler. All that was left was to convince C.C. He was actually surprised that she didn't notice when they had met, but it was unimportant now. Arturus would know his place in this regime or die by E.E's hands.

"Sir! The plans are ready, and we are set to begin."

"Very well. Tiberious you should get ready as well. You will spill more blood before the world is under Britannian control, and it will be sooner than you think. Climb into your knightmare and prepare to be inserted into the settlement as a Black knight. You'll know when your orders come."

E.E. chuckled once more as he climbed into the Nebula and started powering up the systems. He would lead the largest global assault he's ever come up with. All that was left was for his soldiers to not fail him in the line of duty. He had no need for corpses, and their complaints.
