Random Suzaku Kururugi Fact of the Month

Suzaku Kururugi was actually the missing link needed to create the Atomic Bomb. Scientists were baffled on how to fabricate the weapon until Suzaku showed them a Spinzaku in real time. Everything soon became clear to them.

Character of the Month
Wendy Alexis Stalingrad
Wendy Alexis Stalingrad
Wendy Alexis Stalingrad was born to parents of particularly low status in the Holy Britannian Empire. Her mother was a simple chambermaid to the Royal Family and her father was a low ranking soldier in the military. Her father was killed early on when the Black Knights first appeared and her mother was killed soon after when during the Battle of Narita. Sent to live with her grandfather, she spent the better part of her years with him, learning how to be a proud soldier of Britannia. When he too was killed in the line of fire and when the Black Knights finally emerged triumphant, she was left with nothing. As such, she didn't hesitate to join the Britannian Restoration League upon hearing of their creation to get a shot at payback. All she could think of was destroying Zero and 'restoring' her homeland. Now a full fledged member of the BRL, Wendy's specialty is infiltration and espionage and she is often assigned to go undercover in Japan for various reasons. Has a long standing rivalry with Reid Legato, Becca Buchanan, and just about anyone else that gets on her nerves. She is probably well known for her white hot temper and 'shoot first, ask later' disposition.

Reid's personality suddenly shifted into a more serious tone. Frowning he replied "Like I said yesterday, I have no idea who you are. And after today I'm even less likely to believe a word you say. You wanna talk? Get to talking!" Putting Wendy on the spot, Reid waited for her response. He was determined to get to the bottom of the lady's problem. The crowd continued to linger and the standoff had the makings of an old army stand off. The intensity was electric in the air.

While Wendy was pissed off at Reid's lone appearance, at the same time, she was glad he hadn't decided to run with his tail in between his legs. If he had done so, she wouldn't have had the opportunity to grill him in front of dozens of people like this. About to respond to his remark, she stopped and thought over her words carefully. Clearly, Reid must have figured out her 'sweet girl' act from yesterday was a total facade, but had he thought she was fibbing she she said she was a soldier? That much was still true and for all he knew, she was a member of the Britannian Military. Even if they were technically enemies, Wendy saw no merit in revealing her occupation as an actual agent working for the BRL. That would compromise her mission and blow her cover on top of that. As such, her eyelid twitched again. Reid was probably her only way to the supply depot was was assigned to find, but she was so angry with him now that she would rather ask on of the Japanese before him.

"Are you calling me some sort of lier?! I already told you...I'm apart of the Britannian military and a rookie! If I would have know there was or wasn't some sort of password to get into the bases, I would have answered correctly, but I didn't...so, that gives you no right to call me a liar, you dick!"

Her fists were clenched tightly, she feeling them about to sock Reid in his cocky-looking face. All she had to go on now was her story about being a Britannian soldier. She saw no reason for Reid not to believe her, but knowing him, she figured he would come up with something to frame on her person.

Reid had to give this woman credit, she didn't crack easily. She was sticking to her story and there was no way to break her of it. At the same time Reid knew she couldn't be a soldier, there was still a huge piece of evidence Wendy was looking. Deciding what information he could release to the public was tricky but Reid chose the right words to keep the Japanese on his side. Flashing a cocky smile Reid said "Such salty language coming from a lady. What are they teaching in Britannian etiquette schools now a days? Your ruse is impressive but its gone on far enough. There's an easy way to tell you're not one of our soldiers. The warehouse you've been looking for? We have no such operations at this time. Furthermore, you intrigued me yesterday. While I was at the base I did a little searching in the personnel files. The last Stalingrad, if that is your real last name, served in the army over 10 years ago. I do however, respect your skills. So give it up and tell me who you are!" He then smiled again, knowing he had backed her in the corner. The Japanese seemed to excite from him putting this cruel woman in her place. A few even started cheering "TEACH HER A LESSON!"

Wendy's breath was taken away by Reid's statements and she found her entire body shaking violently. She hadn't even considered that he would go to such lengths to figure out who she was and it was obvious he now understood she wasn't apart of the Britannian military. Honestly, she found him a little too intelligent for his own good. Gritting her teeth, she wasn't sure what to say or what to do. But even if he knew that much, there was no way he was just going to guess she was in the BRL. No, that much was assured. However, it would be hard to explain how she knew so much. She could claim she was apart of the Black Knights, but such a notion made her gag on her tongue, as she was too prideful to say something like that. Still, she had to say something, as she was also too stubborn to lose to someone like Reid.

"SHADDAP, you stupid idiots!"

First, she had to speak to the crowd that had obviously taken sides against her. How was she the bad guy here? She could hardly understand the logic of Elevens and decided that they weren't worth debating over. It wouldn't be long anyway before their homeland was back in Britannian hands anyway, causing a smirk to go over Wendy's face. Even Reid would be able to defend them at that point.

"And as for you!" she firmly asserted, going back to Reid. "I'm impressed you did your homework like this. Fine, I'll admit, I'm not apart of the Britannian military. However...if you think I'll just talk, you're firmly mistaken!"

Reid knew how to get to Wendy now. She hated when people pushed her buttons, it drove her crazy! He now had a way in. Feigning un-interest he replied "Oh, were you saying something? I'm sorry, I'll pay attention now. Not! You really should get to the point a lot faster." He could see Wendy's face getting redder and redder. He laughed at her in an attempt to stoke the fire even more. Wendy's pride would eventually be her downfall. Reid decided he'd rather crush her here with no repercussions than out on the battlefield, playing for lives. He couldn't understand why but this woman was different. Perhaps it was because he was putting faces to the combatants instead of facing training droids.

If Reid was trying to poke at Wendy in an effort to enrage her, he had succeed with flying colors. Her face imitated the surface of a tomato now and her entire body shook with absolute rage. She could hardly believe he was now acting as if he hadn't heard a thing she had to say, something that seriously got on her nerves, as he hated being ignored. Needless to say, this Reid kid was the most annoying creature she had ever encountered in her short life and if it weren't for the amount of witnesses that would see her, she would have already attempted to stab him a few times with her knife.

"W-WHY YOU! I-I'm gonna...!"

But she stopped when she suddenly thought that Reid may have only been doing on this to get her so mad, she would begin saying things she would later regret. Her eyes widening, she lower her fist, which was about to smack her foe right between the face, and remembered that her grandfather told her to watch her temper over and over again when she was much younger. That was because he knew it would get her in trouble one day.

"I-I see what you're trying to do! Hmph! As if I'm some sort of fool! So, you have your suspicions of me, but I find it highly suspicious you would want to defend these...'Elevens' like this when your Britannian yourself!"

This last comment had struck a cord with Reid. Who was she to know his motivations? She didn't know what he had been through. Turning serious Reid responded. "Get one thing straight. I love my country. Love it to death. I fight for it and even would die for it. But it doesn't love me back. For most of my life its people treated me as little more than a second class citizen. But who didn't spit on me or kick me when I was down. The Japanese. They accept and embrace all. Let me let you in on a little secret. Who am I? I am Reid D. Legato, heir to the Legato Military Arms company. Disgraced son of Britannian aristocracy. Soldier of Britannia." He then stood, breathing heavily and letting the gravity off his words sink in.

Becca was silently watching from the sideline, somehow her scramble with this complete stranger now involved Reid, and it appears that this isn't the first time they've encountered each other. To be honest, she had not a clue what to say at this point, since things have shifted far away from a simple skirmish. She had never seen Reid so hostile, and it somewhat scared her, but she would not admit that out loud.

"Oi, Reid. Let's get outta here.", she finally said.

Judging from the way things were turning it would probably be best to get out of there. Though the thoughts surprised her greatly since she was so eager to fight just a few moments ago.

Reid's attention momentarily shifted from his antagonist to Becca. Hearing her pleas to flee he replied "If you think its for the best." He then looked over towards Wendy and said "I have no idea what side you're on but I'll only warn you once. Do not cross me again. You don't want to get on my bad side" With that last ultimatum Reid turned from Wendy and the familiar smile of his returned to Reid's face. He then prepared to leave the altercation.

Blood was such an odd substance. It's actual purpose was clear enough, to keep the body functional, to allow energy to flow about. Yet it was less it's actual function that mystified and intrigued Doctor Uriel Ur whenever he drew it, and more it's...consistency. It's color. Truly the scarlet of a blood drop was beautiful, a remarkable work of art and pleasing to the eye. Where else in nature could one achieve the shade of red that blood so readily represented? All Ur could imagine was the sky. It took god himself to replicate such a sensation. Or at least what passed for one.

Still, Ur was destined to forgo blood letting on this fine day. He had received a very interesting email this morning, upon his daily rounds about Shinjuku, where he made his home. For the first time in quite awhile, the BRL had use for him outside of his daily intelligence reports and data-- quite amusing indeed. While Ur would normally be slightly irritated that his morning schedule was interrupted, if it were anyone other than the men and women of the BRL asking him. For the word of the BRL was the word of god.

Metaphorically.

His mission, at first, was a simple one. Order a soldier back to base. It seemed simple enough, though the details afterwards were rather...interesting. He looked forward for a larger, more grandiose explanation from his commander, though he didn't much doubt he'd receive no answer. And that was fine with him. He'd accept the fact he'd receive them eventually.

Anywho, business was at hand. Quickly, he pulled out his phone. Starting by searching through Britannian Restoration League's personnel profiles, he found his way to 'Wendy's' personal information, and by extension, her cell phone number. Wasting no time, he called it, and any greeting to him would be meet with one response.

"Hello Wendy. You've been out quite a while. Why don't you come home? Brother seems to think your making too much noise."

One might wonder, despite his orders, how Ur knew that Wendy was making a commotion, a fuss, a racket all about the glorious Shinjuku City. Indeed, one would be hard pressed to find out. At least, if they didn't have good enough eyes. For, you see, if one looked up high enough, they'd see a grim face staring down at the scene below, with flowing black hair tempered by aged, tan skin turned dark from the shade, his stare stoic and unnerving as he beheld the view below him. Of course, it was merely luck that allowed Wendy to be placed below his window at this exact moment at this exact time. And it was merely chance that allowed Ur to even notice the loudmouthed recruit's face as he called.

Either that, or fate.

Ur never really knew which was which. Yet he still couldn't help but allow a small grin to appear at the sides of his mouth as he thought about it.
