Random Suzaku Kururugi Fact of the Month

Suzaku Kururugi was actually the missing link needed to create the Atomic Bomb. Scientists were baffled on how to fabricate the weapon until Suzaku showed them a Spinzaku in real time. Everything soon became clear to them.

Character of the Month
Wendy Alexis Stalingrad
Wendy Alexis Stalingrad
Wendy Alexis Stalingrad was born to parents of particularly low status in the Holy Britannian Empire. Her mother was a simple chambermaid to the Royal Family and her father was a low ranking soldier in the military. Her father was killed early on when the Black Knights first appeared and her mother was killed soon after when during the Battle of Narita. Sent to live with her grandfather, she spent the better part of her years with him, learning how to be a proud soldier of Britannia. When he too was killed in the line of fire and when the Black Knights finally emerged triumphant, she was left with nothing. As such, she didn't hesitate to join the Britannian Restoration League upon hearing of their creation to get a shot at payback. All she could think of was destroying Zero and 'restoring' her homeland. Now a full fledged member of the BRL, Wendy's specialty is infiltration and espionage and she is often assigned to go undercover in Japan for various reasons. Has a long standing rivalry with Reid Legato, Becca Buchanan, and just about anyone else that gets on her nerves. She is probably well known for her white hot temper and 'shoot first, ask later' disposition.

Caution: May Cause Insanity

Raiiel observed the newcomer, intrigued. This man's voice was the voice she had heard intruding her channel in Narita. She sensed no real threat from him, so she felt no need to tighten her grip on the rifle in her hands. Her reflexes would be quick enough, anyway, if he tried anything, and a sniping rifle at this distance would be very damaging.

She sighed heavily, letting her leader know that she would rather stay and listen to what this Lloyd Asplund had to say. Even if he wanted to be talked to alone, she probably would have convinced Zero to allow her to stand by and listen, but she would not disappoint her leader by saying no to his requests. "Not at all, but the fun seems to be down here and not around the island," she said, her smile in her voice. She shouldered her rifle and ran her fingers through her hair, tying it back with the leather string she used as a hair tie, then threw her hood back on. After a moment's thoughts, she decided to get back into her Knightmare to patrol.

Raiiel climbed back into her cockpit, throwing her ammo bag and rifle in the back - well, it was more like she placed them carefully in the space in the back, she would never handle her weapons roughly so as to avoid damaging them. Out of habit, as she started her Knightmare back up, she engaged her cloaking system and switched it off after a few seconds, causing her Knightmare to disappear from sight, then reappear the next instant. It was her favorite feature in her Knightmare, and she always wanted to make sure it was in proper working order in case she was in need of it. Although she preferred ground combat, she knew she would have the best vantage point from the air, and being a sniper, she was all about getting the best vantage point. So, she took to the air and began navigating over the perimeter of the island to do as her leader had told her to.

"Tell me....Zero. May I examine your knightmare? I head you recovered parts of the Albion, and I'm curious to see if they are in working order. Cecile sends some of her....cooking for you."

Lloyd turned around looking for Cecile, but it seemed like she was still on the ship. Well so much for another introduction. Lloyd also wanted to know if she was still working for the Black Knights. He hoped she wasn't, but then again not much could be avoided by that. He didn't want to be called the Earl of Pudding today. Even thinking of it made him want pudding though.

"Is Rakshata still working for you?"

Takeo sat up and limped out of the infirmary much to the complaints of the Doctors there, but he didn't get far before a Black Knight escorted him back to the infirmary. He didn't like it, but he hoped that Zero would get the interrogation over with before too long. Takeo didn't like waiting for too long. He wondered how the commander was taking this. Did he consider it a security breach?

"You want to see the Albion? ...I guess that would be okay."

Zero wasn't too sure of his own words. As Suzaku Kururugi, he knew how emphatic Lloyd Asplund got when he was around Knightmare Frames. Suzaku found it ironic, however, that the Albion's creator was curious to its inner workings and chuckled under his breath, hoping no one heard him. Not that it mattered. Wanting to see Cecile too after such a long time, Zero noted that she was most likely busy on the transport ship were her own duties, so he choose not to ask Lloyd to retrieve her. Even so, Cecile was one of the few people back when Suzaku was in the military to care after him so attentively, especially with Lloyd around. She also kept Lloyd in check, something Zero knew he was going to miss out on with this little meeting of theirs.

"And to answer your question, yes. Rakshata still works for us, but she's rather selective on showing us her work that she tends to stay cooped up inside the base. I honestly haven't seen her in quite some time."

He would have to scold Rakshata for such behavior later on, as he knew how busy she got. Glancing up at the disappearing Valkyrie Knightmare Frame of Raiiel Rayvin's, he reminded himself that it was Rakshata that had created the revolutionary machine that he would need her assistance in the near future in helping develop new weapons to combat the BRL. Lloyd asking about her was probably to inquire on her new works, something Zero honestly had no knowledge of.

With his cape trailing behind him, he instructed Lloyd to follow him into the base, where the Lancelot Albion was being housed.

"And by the way, you wouldn't happen to know our guest, would you? A Mister Takeo?"

On the subject of Mister Takeo, something told Zero that the guards he had stationed to watched the injured individual weren't going to be enough, despite the fact Zero's guest was in no condition to do anything. He wasn't so sure about that though, pulling out a communicator.

"Miss Rayvin..." he started, speaking to his 0 Division Captain over a secured line. "I know I'm being quite a pest today, but if you don't see anything out there of particular interest, could you please come back here and keep an eye on our guest from the BRL? I'm not sure about Lloyd either..."

Caution: May Cause Insanity

As Raiiel flew around the perimeter of the Island, she radioed whomever was available in her division to fill in gaps that she saw in security. They quickly filled in as they were told coordinates by their Captain. Raiiel's trained eyes could see no possible threat in the distance at the moment, even observing the horizon through her Knightmare's rifle's scope. Already bored of looking around, she returned to the ground and moved her Knightmare toward the buildings. She had done what her leader had asked, though perhaps not as thoroughly as he would have liked. There was no fun to be had in the air, or around the Island at all. Everything that would hold her interest was on the Island, and she did not want to miss too much. Once she had reached the shaded side of the buildings, she opened her cockpit to get out, but before she descended to the ground, she took a few ammo clips from her bag and put them in her cloak pockets as well as a few spare bullets, just in case, of course. She did not want to carry around her ammo bag, though, so she only shouldered her rifle, letting it rest on her back and got out of the cockpit.

Raiiel stood by her Knightmare for a moment, wondering where she should go. She knew that her leader and their visitor were headed toward where Zero's Knightmare was kept, as she had seen them headed that way during her patrol in the air. She could catch up to them and find out for herself what exactly it was that the visitor wanted. Her other choice was to go to the infirmary and see what Takeo was up to. She was more interested in him, so that was the direction she took. Swiftly, she made her way into the buildings and followed the hallways that would lead her to the medical wing of the base. She barely acknowledged anyone she passed, as if they were invisible to her. As she approached her destination, she saw two soldiers standing by the door of the infirmary. She paused as she neared them.

"Why don't you take a ten minute break?" she suggested to the Black Knights who had posted themselves outside the infirmary to guard the wounded captive. The guards looked at Raiiel as if they were not sure how to answer. One seemed to want to protest, but then saw a dangerous glint in her eyes and he decided to hurry off, quickly followed by the second guard. They both quickly saluted her before leaving, almost forgetting that she was the Zero Division Captain. Once the guard was out of sight down the hall, she walked calmly into the infirmary. Then she shooed away the doctors, who left with a slight protest, leaving her and Takeo alone in the room. Well, mainly alone. There were a few other patients, the injured rookies that had accompanied her to Narita, but they were in a deep sleep, knocked out by the painkillers and perhaps the shock of what had happened to them and their fallen comrades. Raiiel stood, relaxed, a few meters from him. She folded her arms across her chest, "Feeling better?" she asked, mostly inquiring about his wounds, but if he thought her questions was for his mood, she would not mind either kind of answer. He definitely looked better, having had most of the blood cleaned off of him, and he did not look as if he was struggling to stay awake anymore.

Just then, she received a signal from her ear piece that she still had on her person, telling her in a special tone that Zero was contacting her. She put the device to her ear to listen and chuckled as she heard her leader's new request, "I'm already on it. The Island is as secure as I could make it," she told him reassuringly. She shut off her ear piece and put it away in her pocket, refocusing her attention back on Takeo, her smile hidden behind her mask.

Takeo looked up at Rai. She had to be smiling under that mask of hers and when she asked how he was doing it wasn't aimed at his mood. He knew she didn't care about the mood only the wounds. If the wounds were fine then she would just smile more, and he wasn't sure why she wanted his wounds better, but she just wanted the wounds to be better.

"I'm clean, and stitched up. Not much more to be better now is there?"

He looked around and saw that there wasn't anyone conscious at the time that didn't already know his face. Takeo took off the mask, and it felt like it was being peeled off instead of coming off easily. The cooling systems had be destroyed at Narita. As he blinked to get his actual vision back he looked at Rai's eyes. Something about this woman made Takeo want to just keep fighting her until he won. It was something new to him. Could it be because she was a girl?, or just because she was the only one able to challenge him mentally, and tactically.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Aha! So it's still around! How exciting, you've done an excellent job remodeling my designs and it looks like it could run with the......wait....did Rakshata touch this?"

Lloyd's cheery expression quickly became dull as he thought of Rakshata even touching his Lancelot. It technically wasn't his Lancelot anymore, but that was more than enough reason to look at this knightmare and see what had been done to it. When he was certain that they were alone he had to look back at Zero, and let it out.

"I knew you were still around....Suzaku. Only you could ever pilot the Lancelot, and the Albion at that. The fact that it is still operational after being made means someone with the knowledge of the parts was able to tell Rakshata what to do. Don't worry about your little mask game I won't tell anyone. Actually you can thank Miss Cecile for revealing you to me. She knew you too well to not know it was you.

Lloyd smiled, and then turned back to the Lancelot. He'd have to take that secret to the grave with him. Actually when Cecile told Lloyd about Suzaku he got off his butt and started making more knightmares. Lloyd had been in a slump, and out of ideas, but when Cecile told him about Zero Lloyd was just as happy as could be. He continued making Knightmares based on Kururugi's specs from the Lancelot. That's why he made the Nebula.

Zero remained quiet at Lloyd's claim that he understand that the leader of the Black Knights and Suzaku Kururugi were one. Instead, Zero chuckled and decided that he was perhaps too careless in deciding to pilot the Lancelot Albion once more, as it had most likely given away his identity. But perhaps it was his mannerisms, distinctly different from the first Zero. Whatever the case, if even Lloyd's assistant, Cecile was able to discover his secret, he wondered how long it would take for the BRL to discover this fact as well. Suzaku Kururugi was supposed to be dead, martyr for peace. If the world find out he was alive indeed, he was assured they would forget about the Zero Requiem and the peace that it should have brought all across the world. Again chuckling, he nodded his head, thinking such a thing was impossible. In fact, he thought Lloyd knowing his true identity was quite humorous and that he shouldn't have been surprised, seeing who he was dealing with.

"...How is Cecile? I haven't seen her in ages..."

Zero stated this without giving Lloyd a straight answer on if he was right or not.

"And to answer your question...Rakshata only made a few minor adjustments to suit me. Nothing too serious."

In actuality, Rakshata had extensively tinkered with a few of the systems, saying that 'the Earl of Pudding' had no clue how to make Knightmares and that she couldn't understand how the Lancelot was even able to move with such faulty equipment installed. Zero laughed at this, but low enough so Lloyd wouldn't consider that anything was wrong. Already knowing how Lloyd got when his Knightmares were involved, Zero feared all hell would break loose if he spoke too freely.

"But I'm sure the Lancelot is the only reason you're here, Lloyd."

She laughed lightly and shrugged at his words. Raiiel was looking forward to having a fair fight with him, and if he was injured and not at his full potential, she would have no fun at all. Sure, she liked taking people by surprise in the battlefield, but that was the only way she could have a little fun. The element of surprise was one of her favorite weapons, but she did not find hitting someone when they are down to be enjoyable at all. She would prefer if her opponent fought back with all their strength, and she knew that Takeo would, but only after he had healed up.

"Zero seems to be growing uneasy, I'm going to return to him. You can follow me if you'd like~" she said in an almost singsong voice as if she were enjoying herself, and she was, but she was not going to openly admit it, of course. She did not seem to care if the guards came back to see that their ward had disappeared, and she did not care if it caused them to panic or not. If they could not infer that she had walked off with the captive, then it did not matter to her. She was bored and was growing impatient for something to entertain her, and, if Takeo decided to follow her, which she knew he would, her boredom would most likely dissipate for the time being. After she spoke, she walked out of the infirmary to find her leader.

Takeo took his crutch, and hurried out the door to follow Rai. He knew she was doing this on purpose, but he couldn't stand the Doctor's being all over him again. He wasn't strong enough to pose a threat, but he believed that they were mostly worried about him stealing a knightmare. Takeo had basic enough knowledge to try and hardwire a way into one, but that would take time and he felt like he was under constant watch.

The smirk on Lloyd's face seemed to disappear when he stood up straight looking Suzaku head on. He was serious now, and this was an extremely serious manner.

"I came to get Takeo back, but for only a few reasons. I need him for data since you are supposed to be dead, and I need to return him to his commander. His commander has been seen throughout time, and with the same mark on his face. Does a red bird shape ring any bells? I'm worried about this man's plans with the BRL. With luck I can convince Takeo to defect, but that in and of itself is risky. This 'Commander' doesn't like information leaks."

Takeo was wondering how Lloyd was, but he was also worried about his commander more. He only met the man once, but even then it wasn't in person. It was through a video call. All Takeo remembered from that meeting was the blue eyes. They just never seemed to waiver, and they lacked pupils. It was like the commander didn't belong, but Takeo was a good soldier and he never questioned the Commander.

Seeing how serious Lloyd got when explaining the situation, Zero said nothing at first and merely let the researcher's words mull over in his head a bit. Not only was Lloyd suggesting the appearance of another Immortal, he was stating this individual was a commander within the BRL. To say the least, all this was a bit surprising. Zero would have never assumed an Immortal to be heading the enemy organization, but considered that anything was possible in this world, considering everything he had been through in his short life. But even if all this was true, what was he to do about it. His thoughts raced and began to ponder if Takeo would be able to provide some info on all this. If that was the case, then handing him over to Lloyd right now would merit absolutely nothing.

"So, I take it you need Takeo back to avoid a major catastrophe, right? Lloyd, while I want to help you, we can learn a lot by questions Takeo first. Is there some sort of time span you need to return him to his Commander? And don't you have anymore information on this person? A name? A description? How you can be certain they are an Immortal, like you claim? My hands are tied with so little details to go on. Besides, this Takeo is a BRL soldier. I cannot simply turn him over to their ranks just like that."

Zero had a feeling Lloyd would be looking forward to his explanation, however, he had been backed into a corner here. With such a valuable guests on his hands, he would have to play his cards right to come out the victor here. Regardless of this Takeo's rank, it was obvious he held some value if even someone such a Lloyd took the time to come and retrieve him. Shaking his head, Zero reminded himself that his prisoner wasn't some sort of bargaining tool. Such tactics were beneath the Black Knights, after all.

Raiiel heard voices, but did not attempt to strain her ears to make out what they were saying. She was not someone who eavesdropped on purpose, it was only ever a random happenstance when she did. She was just so unnoticeable and stealthy that she seems to just happen to be there when interesting conversations were being made. But, there were some conversations that she would not listen to unless invited, like those that involved her leader. Zero was a mystery to her, and she found him interesting in that way, so she did not want to ruin the intrigue by ruining the mystery, because in turn, it would ruin her fun.

Although her own footsteps were silent - due to her well placed, well-worn, rubber-soled boots - the sound of Takeo's crutch would alert anyone to their presence, which was fine with her. There was no need to move silently through her own territory, it was just a habit for her. Even so, she felt the need to be a bit louder so should would not hear anything she did not want to, just in case. Besides, secrets seemed to always seemed to lead to lies, which was, of course, something she hated.

"Zero~!" she spoke up to announce her presence as she neared where she knew her leader was, "I'm here~ What did you want to do with our guest?" she asked, cheerful, as she turned and walked into the hangar where Zero kept his own personal Knightmare Frame. She paused and looked over at Takeo, allowing him to catch up since she had been walking fairly briskly.
