You walk through the Wrong door.
You find yourself in a room with the computer. Your helpful computer.
Going up to it, it explodes... not again.

"I told you earlier to be logical. The door you should have gone through was the Left Door. The only Door Left. You have failed the test, now you must battle me!"

Egad! It must have been this guy controlling the rooms, being a master of shapes and space.

How will you battle it?

Trying to send the Mareep out, you remember it had fainted from the previous battle with it. (sorry, caught pokémon don't heal in this zone)
You will have to choose a different pokémon.
No insta-heal? Damn. D=

"Great, just great. Mareep is KOd, Geodude is weak, and squirtle...is actually my safest bet.

So yeah, go squirtle!

Distract it with a bubble attack, then charge in for a tackle!"

Squirtle v. Ratticate

Rattata
Lv. 5
Tackle/Tail Whip/Quick Attack
HP 12/20
Guts

Squirtle
Lv. 7
Tackle/Tail Whip/Bubble
HP 20/24

Squirtle starts off with a large Bubble attack.
Rattata, stunned, uses a tackle.
Rattata rebounded quickly with a very fast attack. Though the bubbles did not slow Rattata down, Squirtle proceded with a tackle of its own.

This Rattata seems to have Guts, rather than being a panicy mouse.

"Yeah... But... Dave! Use Low Kick on that Porygon, hope you hit it hard before it can hit you! If you can, try and use your agile-ness to avoid a strike from it, then Low Kick it again!", Karen shouted, sending out her Mankey. "How's that for logical, then? Fighting a Normal type with a Fighting type?" Karen taunted, before realising, thinking to herself, Crap. Doesn't Porygon learn a Psychic type attack at some point?

Hmm, guts. That hopefully won't play too much of a factor in this battle.

Great damage on that first attack squirtle, lets try that again!

Dave v. Porygon

Porygon
Lv. 10
Conversion/Conversion 2/Sharpen/Psybeam
HP 20/30
Trace

Dave
Lv. 8
Covet/Low Kick/Leer/Focus Energy
HP 10/26

Dave started with a Low kick, that was Super Effective. Porygon's weight also meant Dave's attack did even more damage.
Porygon fired a Psybeam at Dave, that also was Super Effective. Owch! It was a Critical Hit!

Endy ~

Squirtle v. Ratticate

Rattata
Lv. 5
Tackle/Tail Whip/Quick Attack
HP 6/20
Guts
-1 Speed

Squirtle
Lv. 7
Tackle/Tail Whip/Bubble
HP 15/24
-1 Def

Squirtle starts off with a Bubble attack. It slows Rattata down!
Rattata uses Tail Whip to cutely fool Squirtle into lowering its defences.

Rattata quickly after its last attack did a Quick Attack, doing more damage than normal. Squirtle hit back with a strong tackle.

Rattata is getting very weak. It looks as though it will faint of tiredness soon.

Lv. 10
Conversion/Conversion 2/Sharpen/Psybeam
HP 10/30
Trace

Dave
Lv. 8
Covet/Low Kick/Leer/Focus Energy
HP 18/26

Using a Potion on Dave, he feels much better.
The Porygon uses this time to "Fire his Lazor".
With his new found strength, he dived in with a low kick.
Porygon used Conversion 2! Fighting type moves won't work anymore on it!

Rattata fainted!
Squirtle gained 50% Exp!

Want to capture the fainted Rattata?

"Ahh, podgecakes". Thinking about her options, Karen decided on another course of action. "If Fighting moves donn't work, that means it's become a Ghost type... Dave! Return! Sable! Go, use Shadow Sneak!"

Urm... You never had Sable DX Went into the box I thought...

And that isn't how conversion works lol. Just stops the move. Conversion 1 changes the type.

I'm sure I picked it up again at some point. Anyway. *looks 'em up* Conversion changes the type of the Pokémon to the type of one of the opponent's moves and Conversion 2 changes the type of the Pokémon to one that has a resistance to the last move used again it, so it'll do less damage so that's either Flying/Poison/Insect/Psychic... Do love Attack pages and type charts on Bulbapedia/Serebii.

And I got mixed up with the one in the trading card game. lawl. Pretend that never happened?

"Er? lol. Dave, use Scratch?"

Serebii says conversion 1 changes the users type to one of its own moves.
ie I could use Conversion on Psybeam and become a psychic type.

Karen ~

Dave lunged in to try a scratch attack, but having forgotten how to preform the move properly, it failed to do any damage.

"If you get out of here, I hope you don't meet my brother. He can be cruel. Remember to take the Door that is Left"

"Hang on, you're letting me go, what?" thinking about it, before trying to find the door that was Left.

"I'm guessing that means that you want me to take the one door I haven't gone through or tried, yet?"

"You show signs of intellegance and logic, but I am still far superior! The only clever thing you did was to destroy my upgrade disk.
But I still have a fighting chance against you! You are going no where!"

The Porygon hovvered round you to block exit, and Sharpened his body.
Looks like this knowledge osessed creature won't go down without a fight.

Will Dave be able to defeate him even when Porygon is immune to fighting type moves? Should another pokémon be better?
