Hi Im having trouble with my drive chains coming off. I tightened them as much as I dear but still doesn't help. Im thinking they might be worn out? Im new to the Blizzard and to snow for that matter. Are the sprockets interchangeable with the new FR and SR? Im guessing there is no up grade parts. Also thinking of putting a brushless motor in it. What do you guys run in them. Im want faster but not tear the drive line up either. Thanks |

The chains and sprockets are the same. I've had to replace mine. Pretty much everything on the outside of the chassis is the same as on the SR/FR.The only difference I'm aware of, is the addition of some nubs on the suspension carriers. It has to be trimmed, on the front units. There's a screw in the chassis, the newer Blizzards apparently don't have. (which has nothing to do with what you asked....) Even with new chains and sprockets, I cannot keep my chains tight. They always seem to default to a certain amount of slack, and I've even made custom chain tensioners to prevent that. But, I've never had them fall off. I have no experience with brushless motors, so I can't help you, there. |

Thanks for that. I Played around with them again and they seam to be ok now. I think when they were loos the snow was building up in there and pushing them off. I plat with the chain tension and track tension and now it all seams ok. |
