I'm getting the SR ready for our mammoth storm we're supposedly getting here in the northeast, and noticed that my left stick up down trim no longer works- at all. This is annoying because when driving the SR without plowing, I had it so I could trim the plow up and out of the way. It was perfect- it was high enough up that it cleared virtually everything without snagging the plow, but low enough to still look scale and cool. Unfortunately, it just quit working. Anyone else had this issue with their TX? Also, I finally broke down and ordered a tiller. Is there a way to place channel four from the rudder function on the left stick to the switch on top? That would be most ideal for the tiller, one would thing. Otherwise I guess I'll just use my DX6... |

In your case I suggest the following... Open your radio, leave that D/R switch alone. In there next to that switch and on the other side you will see dummy holes for extra switches. Get a 2 position switch, a 10k Pot and a servo extension for the wire from your LHS or whatever suits you... cut the servo extension in half, cut the ends off but not too close, save for future needs, warm up the solder iron... re-route the wiring from one stick to the switch for the tiller re-route the wiring from the other stick to the Pot for the plow re-assemble and enjoy Shenlonco made some videos, look around the board or search youtube ![]() |
