Hey everyone. 3rd time poster here and proud owner of a project Blizzard EV, I think? It's the one with a center 540 motor and a servo for brake steering. Anyways, my end goal for this thing is to be a scale groomer for an outdoor 1/18 scale track or something silly like that. Maybe even just a model ski slope. But, I'm getting sidetracked. The point is that I'd like input from you guys on building a plow and grooming setup with a bit more articulation than just up and down. Any ideas anyone? P.S. Pics coming soon of the kit. |

OK, I found this thread on a 6 way plow, but no 8 way. http://s1.zetaboards.com/RCsnowcats/topic/5129027/1/#new Has anyone thought of a practical way to tilt the blade side to side without mounting a servo right at the caster? Edited by Sypher, Jan 28 2015, 09:17 PM.

I don't think so, room is tight in the blizzard so unless your gonna drop a small fortune on linear actuators... |

I was actually looking at those the other day. If you get them from some robotics websites, they've really come down in price. How well do they stand up to lateral force? |
