Nope, the left one keeps going to flash mode. Okay, these beacons officially suck. I guess the Pistenking ones are worth the money afterall!

Hey MGuzzi, did you ever figure out how to keep yours from changing modes? The RC4WD place won't answer back about them, they didn't come with any instructions. I did find another place that sells them here: http://www.aliexpress.com/store/product/Jd-62-trailer-truck-rotating-warning-light-stacking-container-diy/1213058_1784843671.html
Apparently, they're made by a company called "Eagle," and are model number JD-62s. There is a picture of the different wires with a bunch of Chinese writing on it, can anybody translate this? If so it may give clues to more of the features. I'm wondering if perhaps wiring the blue and positive together would "lock" the mode in place, or if it would short them out. Maybe these need a BEC to operate correctly? I get about 10 minutes or less of run time with them before the left one changes mode. Very annoying. Just wondering how you're making out with yours.

For anyone wanting to use these beacons, I finally figured out why they kept changing modes. They are VERY sensitive to any power drain, and must operate at a constant voltage. So what I was able to do was power them off their own 5V BEC- so far, they've been awesome. However, you cannot run ANYTHING else off that BEC- or they will change modes on you the second it draws power. Anyway, for archives sake, there you have it.
