My modded SR got company today. Finally my automatic watch on the biggest swedish "used sale" sites payed off. Still not 100% sure, but it says DF-300 with GSR11R engine. Looks pretty much unused (although the guy claimed he had driven it a few times). No wear on any gears and perfectly clean. Cant even find a scratch. 200$ is I believe a score, especially here in Sweden where a new SR costs 450$ ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Thanks! Just waiting for the snow now. (we have some but it is like 1mm). Got to do a testrun at least. It consumes a lot of fuel and is alot faster than I thought it would be. My first Nitro RC so I have to learn some new things I guess. |

Ive never owned a nitro RC, but would definitely grab up one of these GP EV's or DF-300's if I could find one for a great price. I like oddball stuff, and a nitro powered snowcat is pretty odd... |

First snow came today. Unfortunately I was unable to start the nitro :( I guess I drowned it and then you are screwed (dont really, know but remember that is the case with the offroad bikes I own(ed)). Fortunately it contain the same parts I needed for my dual 540 brushless SR so I got to run that one instead

if its the stock kyosho engine the needle on the carb should be aprox 1 turn out from closed and make sure your not idling to high so you melt the clutch because vehicle isn't moving flywheel should move freely and not idling too low where it will stall out make sure your glow plug warmer has good batteries in it and have fun it takes some time to figure out but then your on your way |

There was two problems. One, the carb was set wrong (thanks reabysss!) and also my "glower" (dont know what its named in english) didnt work correctly. Now it starts directly every time. Now I just need to understand how to make it stay in second gear (goes into neutral when I turn and when there is any type of bump). |

I have a gs15 in my DF its hands down the best glow motor I've ever owned, I put a tuned pipe on it and it nearly doubled the speed. Only problem now is it geared too low |
