Noticed some are using the Futaba 4PL. Any tips or tricks to using a 4PL radio with stock ESC on the SR or is it best reserved for the Sabertooth mod? Figured with channel mixing it may be possible. I have a R2104GF receiver laying around from a dormant build, so got to thinken... Ty.. Cheers MGuzzi |

I use the 4pl with the 2104gf as well but never with the stock esc. I don't feel you would get a good experience because of the "double-tap" for reverse. |

I don't believe anyone has successfully programmed the 4pl for stock escs, all you should need is a vtail mixer but even there no success has been had, not sure why, it maybe everyone just ends up going sabertooth. The 4pl dual esc mode appears to be designed for DIG on crawlers on tank drive. |

In order for the 4pl to work you would need to use the steering channel as the dig switch which unfortunately isn't posssible. Without the Sabertooth the only pistol grip I managed to get to work was a hacked (overkill rc) flysky gt3b and it worked like a charm. |
