I read that (maverick I thnk) put the rubber strip in his tracks to help with traction. I was wondering if it would help with crawling on rocks etc. I was thinking if it added additional strain on the drive train. I found abrasion resistant material that is the same dimensions as the material supplied by kyosho. The cost is $12 for 20 ft. From Mc Master Carr. Did I miss a post from him on the results? Any thoughts?

I ordered The material from Mc Master Carr and installed it on my tracks using industrial c a glue. On concrete it helps. When climbing stones and rocks etc on golf course it is amazing. It's like I put a set of Nikes on it. The strips added about 3 to 5 mm in hight so no big change.

Today i took my ev on a one mile hike around the neighborhood. The rubber tracks make it quiet and protect the tracks from wear.
